49 days or 7 weeks of blooming. Now they are really maturing and the buds are getting harder. I really like these Royal Gorillas.
I also took a plant outside in the sun for a photo shoot, because the light is so beautiful. Enjoy...
@biggreens420, Thx, bro. You are absolutely right about the feeding. The first 20 days the plants were given only the food that was present in the soil of Plagron Lightmix. They have not received any extra food all this time. Now I have repotted them to 12l. containers filled with Palgron Royalmix and given a bit of nutrition during repotting. The new shoots are nicely dark green. I will soon be removing those yellowish lower leaves.
Amazing set up and the diary/grow is looking good this week with the exception of the yellowing lower leaves. Perhaps needing a bit more nitrogen? Best wishes on the grow!
@Oyziphar, Yes, I have seen this before. But I generally see the yellowing in the upper leaves when a plant is growing fast and/or stretching - not the lower leaves. Anyhow, nitrogen would have likely prevented this in my opinion. Take it for what it's worth. Glad to hear all is well now for the grow!
@Zannabis7, The fastest growing plants (C99, Sexbud and Gorillas) suffered most from yellow leaves (nitrogen shortage). The slowest growing plants are the Royal Cookies (see other diary) and you can see that the leaves (in week 4) have all remained green. They showed no lack of nitrogen, because of their slow growth.
The thing is, Oz, with all these friends of yours, is Cindy friends with Gorilla? I really need to know. Thanks bud.
As a friend of Cindy, I am really hoping she'll invite me to the party. ;-)
Excellent work and congrats.
