First time properly trying to grow! She went into her pot in the 2nd week of June, the buds are insanely dense and wet feel heavy for their size. The plant grew to around 34 inches at the highest branch, but was very full all over. The smell has a strong mint kick to it that helps mask what it is so that's a plus.

@707grows, that drooping might just be from the hot-as-balls weather we've been having around here. I've been up north for a week (had the setup on every-other-day irrigation while i was gone), but Jesus H it was hot when we got back in town this afternoon! The plant has boundaries... and i think 100º is going to at least be a little bit of a gut punch to even the healthiest green goddess.

@@Sonoma_Sungrown, that's great! I'm glad to hear that! I was looking at mine, I have 5,6, and 7 finger leaves. Not gaining much height the last few days, sitting at about 26 inches after tying it down a little. Also dealing with some drooping, not sure if it's over or under watered. Soil isnt soaked, but not dry either, but I worry the rockwool is maybe soaked. Idk. Just watch and wait now haha.

Are you using tap water? If so, are you letting it sit in a bucket or watering can for at least 18 hours before watering?
Sonoma_Sungrown
Sonoma_Sungrown
@707grows, no problem! My vegetable garden results this year have really sold me on the dechlorinated water... so I just invested in these. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YCHWL3M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They screw right onto your garden hose and dechlorinate your water as it runs. Cheap AF, too. Might be the easy way to go if you don't mind dropping $30.

@@Sonoma_Sungrown, I appreciate the help! Gonna pick some castings up this weekend. Hopefully I can get this plant to really start taking off!
Sonoma_Sungrown
Sonoma_Sungrown
@707grows, no big deal at this point. Just top dress your soil with some worm castings, water, and you'll be good to go. You could also mix up 1tbsp of unsulphered molasses and castings (you can get it at the grocery store) per gallon of water, and water with that every couple of weeks. It's a crude tea that will make those good microorganisms in the castings multiply in your soil. They eat the sugar in the molasses. I bubble mine with an air stone for 24 hrs to make them multiply before I water, but many people just mix it in and water. Keep in mind that you can cut that off at any time and start hammering it with chemical nutrients, or you can just top dress with some organic amendments along the way and do it all organic. Organics also naturally regulates the pH and makes it so the plant isn't so sensitive to the pH being a little high. I usually sit around 6.9-7

707grows
@@Sonoma_Sungrown, I hope so! The early flowering seemed to do nothing much for a week or so, a bit more showing now, but not much so far, has me worried, but I'm also impatient so I should have done autoflower, but seeds are hard to get safely it feels. Haha! I'm planning on being better set up for next year!

Sonoma_Sungrown
@707grows, same here. I tested all pots this evening, and they were all around ~6.9 or so... and the plants DO seem healthier. Now that you've got the pH looking good, I'd be willing to bet that you're going to get one helluva early flower stretch out of those limbs over the next few weeks!

707grows
@@Sonoma_Sungrown, also a buddy of mine gave me some dried kelp supplement. I used that and the epsom salt as an addition to the ph down and big bloom, I went from almost no additives to a ton in about 2 weeks, trying to stop the deficiencies at the same time while being nervous about burning it. 🤣 I got myself fairly stressed real quick. I think if I had leaves I would have turned more yellow than the plant!🤣🤣

Overall, she looks healthy! If anything, she might not be getting quite enough P-K to stack as much as you'd like. If you needed to, you could always hit her with a 1/4 strength flower nute and see how she responds.
707grows
707grows
@@Sonoma_Sungrown,I hope she packs on a bit of weight with the Tiger bloom, I think I got about a week or 2 left before I start flushing since I'd like to flush for about 10-14 days.
707grows
707grows
@@Sonoma_Sungrown, I think I had some nute buildup at the very bottom, I hadn't been watering as thoroughly as I should have been, when I ph tested soil high I was between 6.8 and 7.2, but I cut a small hole and checked about an inch from the bottom and it was at 5.4 or something like that, so I think the runoff took that out.
Sonoma_Sungrown
Sonoma_Sungrown
@707grows, 6.1 is probably on the low side... perhaps you could do the next watering at the 6.7-ish range just to get her in that 6.5-ish sweet spot. Regardless, I'm interested to see how she responds to that Tiger Bloom. I have a feeling she's about to pack on some weight over the next week or two.

Your plant's early signs of yellowing are where mine was about 4 weeks ago. The closer it gets to flower/maturity, the more those deficiencies are going to hit us. I have been losing ~8 leaves per day for the past 2 weeks. Don't let yours get there!

I wouldn't take any notice of the breeder saying it should take 8-9 weeks that is best case in perfect conditions for that perticular strain and almost nobody can do that with exceptions obviously, most people add a couple of weeks to that at least, just be vigilant and it will come good for u keep it up 👍
Sonoma_Sungrown
Sonoma_Sungrown
@Steeluk1987, you are giving out 100% good advice here, no doubt. That said, he's getting this figure from a dispensary that sold him a clone, and dispensaries (in my limited experience) tend to be a bit more realistic with the flowering projections than seeds/breeders.
707grows
707grows
@Steeluk1987,yeah, I'm mainly using the growers 8-9 week flowering period as a base line not an end all be all, just knowing I should be nearing the end of flowering somewhere around there and to pay more close attention to what the trichomes, pistils, and plant as a whole are doing. My trichomes are still almost all perfectly clear so I know I probably got at least another week before I start flushing.

Bro... yes, she's yellowing, but she's also looking tasty AF. She's definitely deficient, but the bud that's there is looking REALLY nice and frosty. The Tiger Bloom you just added to the mix is FOR SURE going to help. It took a couple of weeks for me to see new growth start to look healthy, but with your plants being in flower, that energy should be going STRAIGHT into bud stacking. I think you're going to see a shitload of development over the next week.

@@Sonoma_Sungrown, I brought her in mainly to get out of the wind and rain, early this morning. The light is a $30 75w light, typically used for seedlings. The light worked well when it was a tiny clone, but I think it may be too weak for longterm use. It's good in a pinch though!

@707grows what usually gets referred to "overwatering" is actually "watering too often" It isn't about watering too much volume, it is about not letting the roots dry out before watering again. Water it like hell. Put at least 10 gallons of pH 6.3 water through it. Then let it completely dry out (on bottom of pot as well as 1" deep in top) before you water it again. Probably 48 hours.
