All plants are in the same week. **************************************************************** **   Comments on the Germination Process and the Seed   ** **************************************************************** It took seven seeds to produce these three plants. I start by placing seeds into a damp napkin and the temperature is controlled between 78F and 80F. SPROUTED 1 Mephisto Double Grape Spouted and placed into soil in 18 hours. It failed to break the soil. I did take a look and it looks like I may have planted it too deep. The seedling attempted to grow but didn't get through. 2 Mephisto Sour Stompers Both sprouted within 36 hours. One of these was planted and is still in the garden. The second was deformed. The cotyledon broke through the shell rather than the root tip. It wasn't planted. 2 Super Uzis One sprouts in 48 hours and remains in the garden, Super Uzi #1. The second seed did not sprout. 2 Super Uzis [Yes, 2 more.] This is required for the space left open by the failure of the Double Grape. The first seed sprouted and was planted within 24 hours. The second seed did not sprout. OBSERVATION  • 100% of the Mephisto seeds, 1 Double Grape and 2 Sour Stompers, sprouted. 33% resulted in viable plants.  • 50% of the Sensible Seeds Super Uzi Autos sprouted. 50% resulted in viable plants.  • It's not a good idea to draw any conclusions from this small of a sample.
