Growing it

As a first timer I over and under fed Starting getting the hang of it towards the end, I am harvesting the top first bottom buds weren't fully matured yet. Overall this plant did very well considering how much I over under fed, figuring out the nutrients and what she would take better. Drying now then curing for at least 2 weeks before give it a try. Def going to try the 🍍 Express again. I can see where this strain could really be something special w a lil more knowledge on my part.

Hello Misting can be nice for raising the rh in the space , but you want water at the bottom so the roots go searching for water and grow down in the pot. Depending on the stage they'll drink more or less. Right now you may be able to get away with splitting 2 gallons between the 5 plants to not over water. As the plants get older have more leaves/height/ developed roots then you'll soak the whole pot with a little runoff and let it dry over a couple days then water again. A good wet/dry cycle will be what you're going for. Happy growing. ✌️

To me it looks like either wind burn... is it closer to a fan than others? Getting directly blown on? Or pest damage perhaps? Check under the leaves for creepy crawlies. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

They are all looking good my friend, even your windburn is flattening out.. I noticed I couldn't see a Humidifier in your tent.. If you bought one and cranked up that humidity to like 75-80 right now they will love it.. when they get their 7 tipped leaves i dialed mine back to about 60-65% for the rest of veg.. Happy growing friend!! 👊

Hi there! LST is very simple technique 'cos you can start it early or late and the results are pretty same. I suggest that the plant should have atleast 6 nodes before starting. The idea is to bend the main branch down to promote the growth of the lower branches and this is happening because of the plant hormones When one branch is top it has auxin and when you bend it under the other tops the auxin transfers to other branches to give them sign to be the new tops. This is why LST works like it works

Looks great. Anchoring base of trunk in opposite direction helps reduce stress on roots and will keep it from bending/leaning in substrate over time (likely ripping roots alongn way). Keep them close to horizontal as you can as they grow out for as large as you want it to be. (well, much smaller at that point than at end, of course) don't be afraid to work the initial bend a bit - gently. Doesn't have to be "1" bend at bottom.. could be 2-3 in short span of stem. If elongated, a tie-down in middle helps avoid an arch. an arch will cause the highest shoots to steal more resources than others. if your light covers the area with 1 switch on, save the electricity at this point. If footprint / coverage of light is sufficient and intense enough in that area, that's all you need right now. Basically, avoiding stretch and vigorous growth is inidcator it has enough. When you drop to 12hours, you need 50% more intense light to give the same amount of energy you once did at 18 hours per day. That 2nd switch will be very useful plus it likely provides some red wavelengths i bet?

I'm not sure there is a "normal" with autos. It will begin flowering whenever its internal timer goes off - whether it does so on its own or because of something else that triggered it. For instance, I counted my 3rd week of my first grow as "veg" simply because I didn't recognize pre-flowers for what they were right away, and I call the week (whether veg or flower) based on how it begins the week. I think my first grow began showing pre-flowers around day 20 - only a couple days after yours, though i didn't recognize them for what they were at the time. This grow, there was no sign of pre-flowers with the same strain, light, and tent, by day 26 and I thought it might be because I was growing in a bigger pot (3 vs 2 gallon). But when I lowered the light 2" on day 27, pre-flowers appeared a couple hours later. So it isn't unusual with autoflowers and I wouldn't be concerned about it. As to LST, there's really no "rules" once you've begun it as, done right, the only stress is beneficial and minimal (it does not stall or pause growth like other training methods can), so you only need to wait until you have enough growth on the new node to properly tie it down - if you do, its grown enough; if you don't, it hasn't. I LST early (I started this plant at 3 nodes and 5" in height) and continue LST until the stems become too wooden to train.

Yeah man autos are quick, mine went fast into flower as well. My personal advice would be to try and really limit stress on her as she’s about to stretch and you want to have her focus on getting as big and herbaceous as her genetics are going to allow.

I would go to 18/6 and give them some rest. For watering, I just water until I have runoff coming out even when their babies. Overwatering is saturating your roots everyday. Even if your planters are still not needing water a week later,,that's fine. I water once a week when their babies if they need it or not. My plants grow like crazy. Cheers

Your plant looks pretty good if you water 2 days ago she might be a little thirsty. You medium looks dry enough so I don’t think it’s an overwater. Droopy leafs is either over or under water . But she looks good I’ll just check the pots to see how heavy she isn’t, if it’s pretty light I’ll give her a feeding 👌🏾 Much luck to you and keep up the good work

Looks like over fertilizing issues. Encoupled with a possible ph imbalance. Every plant, strain, pheno has different needs. Those needs can change as well among clones in different environments. I'd give her a good ph balanced watering to 6.3... using no nutrients or additives. That damage wont mend or get better. Just watch to see no more occurrence in new leaves. When picking back up the feed dial it back from where u last were.

Hey Growmie ... From the looks of your pictures, things are looking good and seemed to have bounced back from the overfeeding also. Also with the low-stress training sooner is better, it probably would be a bit bigger at this stage minus the overfeeding but not by much more. Hopefully, this was helpful and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".

I’ve heard grower keep both during the “stretch” of the flower phase and then will switch to bloom only after about 4 weeks of flower, strain and phenotype depending. I think honestly you could just switch to bloom, the ladies will stretch regardless and the sooner you get them focused on bud production the sooner your going to get to your harvest. I really doubt the extra time with the veg spectrum will give you any bigger yield and whatever extra growth you may get probably is not worth the extra time you taking without competing the harvest and cycling on to your next grow. Just my opinion. Happy Growing.

Every plant is gonna be drinking at different speeds but based on amounts and your pot size I would agree with your assessment of under watering. I like to water enough so a small ammount comes out the bottom, usually gets sucked up. If I end up water too much I mop it up with a towel, and know for next time a little bit less! Good luck!

If they're doing a droop and you know you under watered them...then I'd say give them 1 good solid watering and then let them be until they dry out. Then continue the cycle, water them fully, and dry over a day or two...repeat. usually the plants i water just a little get mad at me...versus solid waterings and drying.

Hi my friend You have 2 types of rinses The extreme rinse that you apply at the end of your flowering in 1 single time (3-5 x the volume of pot time) Example: Pot 11Lx3 = 33L or 11Lx5 = 55L For slow rinsing it starts 2 weeks before the end of flowering For an optimal rinsing a lot uses demineralized water and others with tap water with Enzymes + a water set with a PH between 6 - 6.5. You will see that your leaves start to turn yellow It is normal the plants will take in the reserves and feed it with the remains of nutrients in the leaves Once the rinsing is done you let your plant rest for another week while your substrate dries well because you never harvest with moist soil I just looked at your journal you are 10 weeks old at this point you can do a slow rinse Every day you proceed with a normal watering with demineralized water or tap water You give them 1 - 1.5 L of water for 7 days Hope this helps friend & happy growing!✌️🏼🌱
