Firstly I would like to thank GHSC for this opportunity to grow their wonderfully named strain Wonder Pie and also the generous opportunity to win a dream trip to Amsterdam. A little info on this strain. Wonder Pie (Wedding Cake x OG Kush) Wonder Pie is a cross of Wedding Cake with their selected OG Kush. Taste/ flavors: Fruity/sweet to gassy making it a good all round strain. The influences from Girl Scout Cookies and Cherry Pie are dominant while the OG Kush flavor comes through on the exhale. Characteristics/Effects: The plant grows tall and will double in size during the flowering period and should be topped and trained to maximize yield. The buds are long, very dense and covered in trichomes. The effect is balanced, making it an ideal strain for day and night. Flowering Cycle: 60 - 65 days indoor Yield: High Nutrients: Bio grow/bloom and enhancer Sounds awesome too alot of growers im sure, an all in 1 simple powder feeding but what I like is what's in it , all ingredients seem to have been sourced from the highest quality so I'm sure it will perform well. 2nd June I fired up the nursery tent temp to a steady 25-26 degrees Celsius for 5 hours with germination soaking water inside to get it up to temp, then dropped 5 seeds into water (PH 6.5) for a 15 hour soak. 2 of the seeds are very small so let's see how they go. 3rd June After 15 hour's I placed seeds pointy end down into peat based soiless mix and just under a light layer of coco as it won't crust up and make it difficult for seeds to surface as I've encountered before. I then gave them a light watering and covered with plastic to retain moisture and humidity. Pots will be topped up with substrate as they stretch up creating more roots. Lighting will be 2 x T5's 4th June The first wonder of the grow broke through. 5th June Another 2 up overnight. Only the 2 smaller seeds to go. 7th June Time to top up pots with substrate. 9th June Number 4 is up but looks to be struggling a little. 10th June End of week 1 with 4/5 seeds sprouting. Summary That's the first week down with mixed results. Number 1 and 2 are going strong with number 3 a little smaller. Number 4 is tiny and I will make a decision on continuing with her if I think she is worth time and materials needed to grow her. Thanks for stopping by and good luck to all involved in the contest..✌️

11th June Light feed of enhancer @ 0.25 grams to 500ml water, watered equally. Number 4 has like hard tissue underneath 1 of the cotyledon leaves and can't sit up straight so I'm wetting the area and hopefully it softens up and catches the pack.🏃‍♀️ 12th June Number 4 has found her feet 14th June Number 2 is the big girl now she's going strong. Number 1 showing me signs that maybe the subsrate is a little hot. 17th June End of week 2 and having mixed results again this week. Number 2 is flying but 1 is not liking the mix she's in and 3 and 4 are being lazy and going slow. Hopefully next week will be all good...✌️

Another week in the books, nothing special but here's what happened. 18th June Huge improvement over night and noticeable difference when I got home this afternoon. 20th June Things progressing well except 1. She just doesn't like the substrate I think. 22nd June. water only PH 6.4 24th June Everything is progressing well for 3 of the 4 and I will put them in final pot next few days, if the problem child doesn't improve i will have to make a decision if she should be replaced so I have just started soaking my 1st ever regular seed to experience and learn abit more hands on about sexing instead of online learning. Hope you all are well and thanks for stopping by..✌️

25th June Potted 3 of the 4 into final pot with Greenhouse feeding grow and put them into flower tent. 27th June Something not right and Its my ph pen or I didn't water them in well enough on transplant. I have ph drops that i usually use and also a cheap pen. The drops can't be used for enhancer as its almost black when mixed. I just ordered a bluelab ph pen and have given the girls a soak of ph water (drops) with a little cal/mag. 29th June Things are looking better today. 1st July (today) Big improvement from this time last week. Had issues after using enhancer and I've tracked it back to my ph pen being shit. (GOOD IS NOT CHEAP AND CHEAP IS NOT GOOD) I've ordered a new bluelab and won't be using enhancer until it arrives, all 4 are in final pots now and unto the big tent.I topped all of them today and gave another drink of calmag as its helping them recover significantly. Hopefully that's all the challenges I get this run but I'm sure it won't be, Cheers for stopping by and take care...✌️

3rd July Started some lst on biggest girl. 5th July Bluelab pen arrived..will sit in solution for 24 hrs and calibrate tomorrow as per instructions. 6th July Fed enhancer @1 gram per litre water. 7th July Responded really well to the enhancer now it is in the correct ph range. I'm really stoked I sorted my first issue out early I guess it means I'm learning. 8th July (today) Everything is going well. Plants look very happy and healthy. 2 are short and stocky making it difficult to train, 1 so much so that its huge fan leaves shelter the whole plants underside. The biggest 1 just wants to keep going up and is branchy making it easy to train. Cheers for stopping by and take care.✌️

9th July Fed them enhancer at @1gram per litre. Progressing well. 11th July They respond well every feed of enhancer so i will give them a feed every 7-10 days. 13th July I think I will take them huge fans off in a few days when I do some major LST. 14th July Decided to defol and LST as well as plain watering at 6.5ph 15th July Plants have recovered. End of this week. Another week down and the girls progressed well. Going to find it hard to get them to where I want before flower though due to the very different phenotypes I have. Was going to scroll this grow but I realised after 2 weeks that was not an option. It really seems like I have differnt strains going...that's how different they are, anyway it is what it is and I will flip after 8 weeks regardless of what it will cost me in yield as I have to get some more started to go outside for summer, I have approx 3 months before my tent gets way to hot. Thanks for taking a look and take care...✌️

16th July Had a stoner moment. Gave them straight tap water and forgot to ph...😳. Tap water is around 7.2 so i think they will be OK this time. 18th July Everything is going well fed today at 1 gram enhancer per litre of water 20th July Some good growth last couple days so I decided to switch to flower. 22nd July Time to go on hermie watch for the next week or 2. 23rd July Good week, I went to 12/12 during the week also continued with some more bending and defol., only taking 2 or 3 off each plant every couple of days, other than that its been pretty quiet week. Using GHF nutrients has just made it a lot less time consuming. Cheers for taking a look....✌️

so far so good, I haven't been well this week so not alot of anything happened. Starting to see them kick into flower, average stretch so far. I will add bio bloom tomorrow at recommended amount for 8 weeks to be safe as they seem to be taking there time to get into flower mode. Hopefully im able to be a lot more active in the garden this week coming....✌️

Not much to report this week, all plants are just doing their thing. I gave them their recommended amount of bio bloom for 5 weeks of flower remaining. Not sure if i calculated it right under the nutrient section, makes it hard when GD don't have a gram option in measuring amounts. I will give them a feed of bud explosion by greenleaf this week and maybe some sweet candy. Thanks for checking in...✌️

Another week in the books and they seem to be maturing fast. Added some sweet candy and bud explosion by Greenleafnutrients @ 1 gram per 4 litres for each. Today I noticed some very small white pests on top of the pot, i only noticed when i watered as thats when they started moving about. Plants seem fine and with only a few weeks to go im not sure if I could or if its worth trying to treat it, guess ill just let the plants tell me....thanks for stopping by....✌️

Looks like I missed something early in flower. Today I found 2 seeds developing on 1 of the plants..i could only find 1 branch effected but I'm sure its hit al the plants as some hairs have turned brown almost overnight with suggests to me that they have been pollinated.. 🤒 22nd August Confirmed all 4 have been affected. I can't find many developing seeds on them but I've decided to pull the pin on this grow as the plants will probably focus on seed production now rather than flower production. 23rd August Plants are chopped and hung. Pretty dirty on myself that i didn't pick this up earlier and also in these genetics. Even if I did notice this earlier it still would have been the same outcome, I know that its not my lack of indoor growing knowledge that caused this as its happened way to many times with other more experienced growers on GD with this strain. Clearly its unstable genetics, the seeds I had left were destroyed and I'll be steering clear of GHSC in the future. Seems to be just money grabbing on their behalf to release crap like this onto the market. I may have got the seeds for free but this experience has cost me time, money and a loss of product that I could have got if I used quality genetics...Obviously these guys are more about quantity to line their pockets and not the average punters and patient's....harvest report to come.

was pretty excited about the journey I was about to go on with this grow but what seemed like an awesome dream become a nightmare overnight. Just started a list of companies who NOT to buy from any more.
