This Grow will be 2 Peyote Zkittlez, and 2 Bubba Kush. First of each emerged 6/11/20 and will be moved into the tent today, (have to harvest the Critical Purple Auto that is the current tenant this morning). Just for background info soil is 40% FFOF, 40% FFHF and 20% organic perlite. Water is mixed 50% tap water pH of 6.6 and 50% bottled purified by RO pH of 5.6% 8 days and only 2 of 4 have sprouted. 50% germ rate not leaving me a real good impression of seedsman seeds so far

week 3 6/22-6/28 The Peyote Zkittelz is for sure showing the sativa side of its genetics. Much taller with longer, thinner leaves than the Bubba Kush. In most setups this would be a problem that you'd have to address with training, but in this setup each has its own identical light so it should be fine. Will start with 1/4 strength nutrients next week. 6/28. The "bubba kush" is easily the most compact plant (so far) that I've grown. it stands at a whopping 3 1/2 inches tall but is throwing its 6th node and looks very healthy and happy. 6/28 The "peyote zkittlez" is trucking right along at 7" tall also working on its 6th node. Will probably top it in the next week. Looking unlikely that Bubba is going to receive any training unless it gains some height.

6/29-7/5 6/29 topped the peyote zkittlez today between nodes 5 and 6. Started 1/2 strength nutrients today also. Water/feedings at 64oz every 3rd day. (feed twice plain water once) 7/1 PZ already more than recovered from the topping, still debating on if i should do anything with Bubba. started nutrients at 1/2 strength on PZ maybe next week on Bubba

7/6-7/12 7/7 both plants had a few more fan leaves removed to open up for airflow. Both now being fed once a week with late veg ratio of GHE "flora" line of nutes plus cal-mag. Both were very droopy this morning, probably going to need to up water volume/frequency 7/8 did some LST on the peyote zkittlez yesterday and removed a couple more large fan leaves from each. 7/11...defoliate, topped, plan to flip on wed 7/12 flipped to 12/12 cycle due to size of the peyote zkittlez, if it more than doubled during stretch its gonna be tight

7/13-7/19 7/14 no issues. Tent sealed up good against light leaks, lights running at 12/12, intake and exhaust maintaining neg pressure in tent running continuously 24 hrs, 2 clip on fans running 24 hours. The room the tent lives in stays closed off from rest of the house and has its own AC which is set to 67 deg f. Daytime temp in tent stays at 74 degrees, and drops to 67 at night. maintains humidity at 48%. Should be ideal indoor weather 7/16 handling nutrients well. Continued tying down branches on PZ, but from here will be allowed to stretch 7/17 both plants doing very well. Defoliated Bubba Kush to expose more bud sites. "Lollipopped" Peyote Zkittlez. Switched places in tent to allow more room for pz to sprawl.

7/20-7/26 PZ has sprawled and is touching or within an in of 3 sides of tent. Been under 12/12 for 8 days now and still not really showing any pistils. BK is starting to show pistils now and tops are starting to look like flowering sites. Both plants seem to be thriving. Given how the PZ is a much faster growing plant and the way it responds to training it should be a perfect strain for scrogging. Next indoor grow will be 2 PZ (if I like the strain once its dried and cured) in 5 gal containers with a scrog. Will switch over to "early bloom" levels of nutrients this week. Still feeding twice plain water once, each week for both plants 7/21 opened tent and found Peyote Zkittlez completely wilted (pic above). Soil was completely dried out. Soil was also dry in Bubba but plant wasn't affected nearly as much. Fed and watered both and within an hour she had fully recovered. Will be increasing watering to 1/2 gal/day on PZ and 1/2 gal EOD on Bubba. Also note for this strain on next run will increase to 7 Gal fabric pot and decrease added perlite to 10%. 7/24 Stretching like crazy raised lights, may have to get creative if the PZ doesn't slow its vertical growth

7/27-8/2 7/27 did some minor defoliation yesterday on Peyote Zkittlez, more extensive on Bubba. Had to double back the hanging cable on light over PZ which got me 4 extra inches that I can raise light. Anything more than 8 inches additional growth and I'll have to start bending them outwards more. both still look very healthy. 7/29 getting ready to put the de-humidifier back in as RH is staying above 50% 7/31 PZ still stretching although at a slower rate. BK appears to be concentrating on building bud now, probably will drop light to about 10 above with that one. Smell is getting stronger by the day. not enough to smell throughout the house yet but certainly noticable when walking in to the room with the tent. Still using the feed twice water once schedule each week and no obvious signs of burn or deficiency. 8/1 did some more defoliation on BK today. Accidentally left tent partially open overnight hope it wont be an issue. Should be ok as there is very very little light in that part of the house. Only what filters in from 60 watt bulb a couple rooms away.

8/3-8/9 8/3 Stretch is slowing down now with 5-6 weeks left according to strain info. Bubba Kush flowers already starting to get fatter, the Peyote Zkittlez is starting to show signs of putting more effort into bulk than stretch, which is a good thing as I can only raise light another 4 inches or so. Did some minor defoliation on the PZ today, just cleaned up under the wire, and removed some fan leaves to expose more sites and increase airflow. 8/5 Not much to report. Added molasses to the nutrient regimen, and increase "Flora-Bloom" to 8 ml/gal. Edited pic above to show trich development on Bubba Kush 8/8 Vertical growth appears to have stopped now, time to discontinue the flora-gro, and increase the flora-bloom. On a side note, building a scrog frame for the next tent inhabitants.

8/10-8/16 Nutrient schedule is feed twice water once. Cal-mag and molasses once a week 8/10. Both plants received significant defoliation today. Both are starting to get nice and frosty. Week of sept 10-16 is anticipated harvest window. 8/12 noticing some yellowed tips, more so on the Bubba Kush, assuming the soil is getting a bit overloaded. Next scheduled watering is just plain blended water, so I'll water till there's a bunch of runoff to clear out some built up salts. 8/13 Soil tested today. Watered both with 85 oz blended water. Both plants in range with TDS (reading on meter is 3 for PZ and 4 for BK with 3-7 being normal) BK soil pH= 6.3 and PZ = 6.4. Dehumidifier now setup and running in tent, trying to keep RH around 45-47. Pistils on Bubba now turning orange and drying up. Peyote still trying to bulk up and fill in between nodes. Overall this has been about my easiest grow to date. 8/15 both plants showing signs of an issue. On the PZ the leaf tips are all curling up, and on BK the edges of leaves are curling up. I'm going to assume that since I cut out the "flora-grow" last week that its not Nitrogen toxicity, so that leaves the 2 most likely culprits to be either over watering, (entirely possible since they got a mini flush on 8/13, or light distance. So since today is scheduled feeding day, I'll withhold the watering until tomorrow unless it gets "wilty" this afternoon. Been struggling to keep humidity down during lights out, usually sitting around 55% when lights first come on. Leaving tent about 1/3 unzipped during its lights on cycle which keeps rH at about 47-48. Go figure...immediately after saying it's been my easiest grow so far, problems begin to show up...lol 8/16 Leaves on PZ still curling tips upwards. Withheld their feeding/watering yesterday, and today gave each 1/2 their usual amount. RH was a much more appropriate 47% at lights on this morning. Checked trichomes this morning, starting to see a very few cloudy ones. Probably will feed with 1/2 recommended nutrients this next week and then begin with just pH'd water for what should be the last couple of weeks.

8/17-8/23 8/17 fed this morning 52 oz each of 1/2 strength GHE plus Cal-Mag and Molasses. Trichomes look to be about a week more developed on the Bubba Kush, appearing mostly cloudy, while PZ seems like about 60% cloudy. No amber on either. Expect about 2 weeks to finish line on BK and 3 weeks on Peyote Zkittlez. Plan is to feed BK once more this week then switch to no nutes the week after, with a good flush. 8/18 even more leaf tips curling on PZ today so it's safe to say its an over fed issue even though it was only fed at 1/2 strength. will withhold all nutes for 1 week and see if it helps. No noticeable issues with the Bubba Kush. 8/20 So the Peyote Zkittlez continues to progress with the leaf curl issue. As another grower suggested its too close to finish to really try to correct the problem, but it would sure be nice to know what is causing it to put in the knowledge bank for the future. Allot of folks suggested it was heat or light related but I have ruled both of those out. The light is sufficiently far enough (13 inches) to not cause burning, and even the very lowest leaves are doing it and those are 24 inches plus from the light. Max temp it ever reaches in the tent is 80 degrees so it isn't that. I've also ruled out over/under watering as i've withheld watering, and tried completely soaking and neither helped. Don't see how air circulation could be the problem as I use a 4" 150 cfm for intake at the floor level, and 4" 200 cfm with a 4x12 filter for exhaust. There are also 2 6" clip-on fans running inside, and all fans run 24/7. So my current thinking is possibly not enough container for the root system because I went with 3 gal fabric pots instead of 5 gal. In any case she's starting to get nice and frosty and I'm estimating sept 10 as chop date so we'll just let it play out. 8/22 Bubba Kush got a 3 gal blended water flush today after withholding water for 5 days. Trimmed off all remaining large fan leaves. She'll get just plain blended water from here on out, plan to chop 1 week from today, (it looks ready to me now but I'll give it another week). PZ got a half strength feeding today.

8/24-8/30 Bubba Kush will be harvested this coming Saturday (8/29) Peyote Zkittlez buds are starting to fatten up a bit better. 8/26 Harvested her roommate Bubba Kush today, and the damned thing hermed on me, and I somehow never saw it. I hope it didn't get this one as well, but it would seem pretty unavoidable to me in that confined of a space. 😕 8/28 Still not seeing any sign of the Peyote Zkittlez either showing herm, or having been compromised by pollen from the Bubba. Will continue to watch very closely, though this late in the game if it happens it happens. Fed 64 oz solution from column 11 GHE chart. Shell get one more feeding on the 1st, then a good flush about 4th, and finish with plain blended water. She,s really starting to show "the fade" now, and about 1/2 the pistils have turned color dried and receded. This grow is almost complete!

This plant overall was easy enough to grow. It stayed very short and compact. Not 100% sure that the reason for it herming was due to the tent. I suppose it could be genetic as easily. Pretty disappointed about the seeds even though its not completely loaded with them. Harvest breakdown total was: 60 gram dried top grade bud 30 gram larfy bud and trim 85 gram leafs from defoliation. (the trim, larf, and defoliated leaf all go in the freezer bag to make dry ice hash with) REally not impressed with the very mild smell, hopefully the curing process will bring out the smell and taste The top grade buds are as sticky as any I've seen, just not a lot of odor.

8/31-9/6 8/31 Will flush tomorrow with 5 gal blended water, then plan on harvest at the end of the week. 9/1 flushed with 3 gal blended H2O. Had to cut one branch as it was so heavy it was laying over about to break. 9/2 wouldn't you know it, flushed yesterday so the soil is completely saturated, and a weather system moved in so now our RH is 94%. I've got a de-humidifier running in the tent, intake and exhaust on 24 hours, 2 four inch clip fans, and a window unit AC running 24 hours in the room the tent sits in which is itself about 95% sealed off from the rest of the house, so its like an environment within another sealed environment, and still RH in the tent is about 58% not good for the final few days of flower

total 425g wet weight after pretty good wet trim. Another 54g of trim and sub-par bud. Will update dry bud weight after dried and final trim. This has a really awesome smell to it, kind of reminds me of some pineapple express. All together from the Bubba and this one I ended up with a bit more than 7 oz fresh frozen trim and sub-prime bud, which will all be run for dry ice hash later today. Will add the hash weight this evening. Well the dry ice hash collection was a pretty disappointing run yielding only 10 grams total using the 73 mic bag, was actually expecting 30 plus, but what I did collect was sticky and gooey as hell. Total weight after drying was 84 grams of truly top shelf bud, very strong smelling. Has a "peppery" taste that has never been one of my favorite flavors, but the buzz is amazing. I will continue to grow this strain.
