Dinafem's OGC - RQS's Sherbet Queen

Hello and welcome to my mixed nft tank.. I never really do this but I have decided that as they both have roughly the same flowering times and both have lineage from cookie family id give it a try.. Haven't grew either of these strains b4 so looking forward to sumthing different in the jars.. First strain ive ever tried from Dinafem so pleased everything is goin as planned.. Clones had been taken from mother/cuttings room and wer placed into 4inch grodan rockwool cubes on 23/5/20..they have been under a 125cfl light @24hrs.. Hello and welcome back.. Hope you are well and have had a good weekend.. 👍😁 14days @12hrs and my girls are still actively growing.. Root zone is filling nicely but these girls will most likely stay smaller than usual as im putting 3 plants into rooting tray instead of 2 and they will obviously have less space.. I still expect to aim around the 15-20oz mark but as im not sure of these girls yeilds, time will only tell tbh!.. I started lst training on the middle plant and back plant as the fans take up space at front of tent.. Simply attached sum green wire to poles n used yo-yo's to pull them apart to allow light into her lower branches/shooting sites.. Early signs of flowering on Dinafem's OCEAN GROWN COOKIES already which looks nice.. Both plants are growing extremely well and both accepting food at steady rates.. Changed to vitalink bloom today and stopped giving them rhizotonic.. 👸🍪👸 Big thanks to everyone on growdiaries who are following, commenting or liking these updates.. Hello and welcome back to my Dinafem/RQS mix tank.. Hope u are all well and good.. 👍🍀 21days into nft and the girls are all growing great.. Had a big stretch out this wk wit and have noticed the OG.Cookie's is slightly infront of her cousins in flowering.. Both now have pistils showing and early signs of resin production on both (cookie's is leading).. Already gettin that warm earthy cookie smell from Dinafem strain and glad i mixed the tank even if they finish at different times i will still harvest all at once.. 🤞 I started introducing flowering boosters/enhancers this wk and she is enjoying it and eating/drinking at a steady pace..will b doing more defoliation and supercropping this wk.. Hello and welcome to the 28th day of flowering in the nft tank.. Hope you are all well and having a good start to the wk.. 👍🍀 Both strains are looking very healthy and still stretching up and out a bit more than i expected tbh 😂😁.. Had to defol, lst and supercrop all 3!!.. Both are producing resin and flower's are very small atm but with still roughly 5wks im interested to see how they will turn out against each other.. Very sticky and smelly now on both girls.. Checking ph and ec/ppm every day and if to high adding ph'd water n if to low simply feed them.. just need to carry on with regular defoliation and gently raise feeding as wks go on and hopefully the cookie jars will b full.. 🤞 Big thanks to everyone for comments, likes and follows.. Hello and welcome back to the 5th wk of my nft mixed strains tank.. Hope you are all happy and doing well.. 😁👍 Had an overfeeding issue this wk.. Wen i checked my resivour her ppm was reading @1500-1600!!.. This happened because she had drank lots of water from res but not taken as much food.. This was my own fault completely as i didnt get chance to check her for 2-3days ..To resolve i simply took out the feed pump n washed 10ltr of plain ph'd water @5.8 and emptied another 10ltrs from res and refilled with 20ltrs of plain ph'd water.. This dropped the ppm down to roughly 900ppm and i let her run thru for a few days on lower feed.. Damage has already been done to my girls but hopefully ive got to them in time without 2 much stress on them .. 🤞😎 I did a defoliation on them mid wk taking weak stems and old/shading leaves.. Completely emptied res today and flush out top tray.. refilled with nutes to hit range of 11-1200ppm with ph @5.7.. Apart from the overfeeding issue everything else is going well.. She's still putting a bit of stretch out but im presuming that's the sativa genes coming thru.. Both smell absolutely amazing and are super sticky.. Buds are starting to form and with still roughly 4wks left on them n we just past the half way mark im happy they are growing well.. 😁👍 Huge amount of thanks to all of u who follow, comment, like or simply just view these diaries.. Top-ups have been quite regular this wk so she's in full production now.. Both girls are around same maturity on glands but both grow quite a bit differently.. The Dinafem strain grows in stages, pumping up her buds then restin then production again etc.. The RQS strain seems to grow at a steady pace thruout.. Both varieties look and smell amazing.. Only few wks left now so will b cutting bk on her base nutes while keeping flower enhancing nutes at same level till nxt Tuesday..👸🔥🍪💣👸 Huge amount of thanks to you all for your support, comments, likes and follows.. Hello and welcome back.. Hope you are well and having a good week so far.. 😁👍 Final wks left on my cookies lineage mixed grow.. Lovely development on both strains.. The Sherbet Queen(RQS) is practically ready and the O.G Cookies(Dinafem) is still filling out and popping white pistils.. At quick glance both av trichs that are goin cloudy so ive started to flush today by emptying res tank and washing 10ltrs of fresh phd water thru the top tray channels hoping to swill roots and flush into res any salts/nutes pockets that av built up within roots n trays gullies..topped up res with plain ph'd water @5.9.. I plan on harvesting the Sherbet Queen nxt tues/weds and let the O.G Cookie grow on for a few more days-depending on how she fills over the nxt 7 days?!?.. Her buds are dense but they can go further and she's showing no signs of stress at all, dispite a ppm spike a few wks bk!! .. Both smell very similar and are very sticky.. The SQ from Royal does look to have more resin production but she is classed as a higher level thc strain at 24% whereas the Cookie's from Dinafem puts out a very respectable 20% so not a huge gap tbf.. ROYAL QUEEN SEEDS SHERBET QUEEN Pink panties x Sunset sherbet 49-63 days flowering 15% Sativa 85% Indica THC 24% CBD low Beautiful strain to grow.. Gets very frosty from early days.. Easy to grow.. No problems with her despite an overfeed issue.. Nice long branches with solid buds all way up.. Very gud bud to leaf ratio.. Trimming was very simple once fan leaves wer removed.. Scissor resin was lovely.. Would definitely grow this strain again.. Will update wen ready to cure.. : 1:🍀 12/8/20 - great smoke.. Taste n smells almost a bit hazey.. Was tough to decide either diesel or pungent atm but went with 2nd choice but this mite change after few wks cure.. Solid buds and a tough 1 to grind.. Fluffs up lovely and is so sticky..if u threw her at a wall she wud probably stick to it🤣.. Im getting a similar smell to gelato but wit sweeter overtones on her .. DINAFEM Ocean Grown Cookies 70% Indica 30% Sativa 55-65 days flowering THC 20% CBD <0.1% This was great strain to grow..harvested her on 60th day.. No problem with her at all despite her being squeezed in between 2 other girls.. Great growth all over her and lovely long branches.. She put out a very slight purple to her upper flowers and fan leaves in the last wks.. Will update diary wit more info wen she's ready to cure in jars.. 👍🍀 Edit on 19/8/20 : This is a lovely plants to smoke.. Preformed well in the grow n seems strong for a 20% strain.. Taste great with a very nice high.. Not a daytime smoke for beginners.. Allday smoke for higher end users tho n i do enjoy the mix of stone and high from her..
