Missed a week posting as I was on vacation.
But they are flowering nicely. Very small plants. But one is 24 inches tall. I’m planning to move them around the greenhouse tomorrow. As I believe they may be getting shaded by the larger plants in there. Hopefully now that I’m home I can just put them outdoors until harvest (on good days)
They have been pretty easy to grow. But we will see about yield. These were freebies so I’m not too worried about it. They are pretty though. They have a mild scent but nothing like my other plants. More floral. Interesting. Will increase feeding schedule a bit to tiger bloom. Now that they are bigger and I’m home to monitor.
How to tell when it’s time to harvest pink kush cbd 30:1?
Through the micro scope everything looks purple. Or brown. Plus there is almost no thc content I. These so would harvesting now be best for cbd?
Naturally the leaves turn yellow From bottom up. most of the pistils will curl up and turn orange-red and thricomes turn amber (around 60-75%)
You are almost there.
Happy harvest!!!!
yeah looking great, I seen the lady bugs in the pic :D I noticed your question and thought your plants looked like 6 inches tall and budding but it was just the perspective from the camera I guess, still very cute plants was it expensive to add the lady bugs? More a response then a preventative measure I guess, but who doesn't like lady bugs
@@nicks,
I’m a big fan of 1:1 cbd:thc so I’ll intend to mix it up.
I would really like to grow some critical mass cbd next season or even if I choose an indoor grow. Some of the cbd strains were pricey and since this inks my first go of it, I wanted to make sure I could get the hang of it. And get over some the stigma around growing in a household with teenagers. And having that “eye roll” look of disapproval from non cannabis friendly people I know. So now I can officially say I’ve been growing since April. And IM OVER IT! My Kids are well educated on cannabis and medicinal value of this plant. The danger of narcotic medication. The dangers of drinking too much. And I’m not ashamed to grow in my home.
I follow the rules to the letter of the law. And So far my first auto blueberry harvest yielded 2oz dry. For a $4 seed. 🙌🏼
Already whipped up a trim tinture. And getting ready to try the blue berry in about a week.
It’s been a really good experience overall.
Critiical mass here I come.
@Muthaofdragonflies, lol 1500 for $20 seems like a good deal even if 1300 fly away. I dont think I'd like lady bugs as much if there was 2000 in my tent though :P but be nice to have maybe 20 hanging around, anyway glad it worked for you. I'm thinking after I get some stock from a successful harvest I might branch out and try some strains that have low yield that not many people grow for that reason.
I was also thinking of trying CBD eventually, but i need to get myself established, and take care of my habit. I have limited experience with High CBD weed, but i kinda like it as an alternative if i know I need to go out or be doing something, I can still smoke on something, feel relaxed without being high af.
Keep up the good work :D I found the CBD i bought from a dispensary had a medicine type smell, I didn't like it at first but after a couple grams it grew on me
@@nicks, yes those were just the tops. They are small plants. They were freebie seeds. And seems to be a newish strain. Reporting small yields. But my small is about 15inches tall. The tall one is about 36. But they are just one tall stalk. No side shoots. Really strange plant. Smells interesting too. Pretty though.
Yes lady bugs were fun to release in there. I paid just about $20 for 1500 of them. They were swarming around my greenhouse for a day or two. And now there are just a few in all the plants. Munching away on more. Most mite seem to be gone. And the rest of the lady bugs must have flown out the vent windows. But that’s ok because I found a bunch of them outside in my vegetable garden and a bunch on my dahlias. As long as they stick around the yard helping me organically rod myself of these pests I’m cool with their freedom. 👍🏻
