Red Hot Cookies by SWEETSEEDS

Hello and welcome to my diary on SWEET SEEDS "RED HOT COOKIES".. I recently ordered these seeds from spain and thet arrived in the UK within 7days.. All seeds arrived in perfect condition.. i placed them straight into an airtight container and put them into the fridge to keep them safe and stored away.. Placed her into rockwool cube(small) with just plain ph5.6 water, put cube into bag to keep moisture, sealed and placed in mother room to keep germination warm.. She was showing root at 36hrs but i didn't have time to repot until about 48hrs, decided to remove the entire cube as she popped u in unwanted fashion (very risky doin this tbh).. Placed her into 4 litre rhizo pot with mixture of biobizz lightmix, perlite and put an inch of clay pebbles at bottom of pot(wash pebs first!).. Placed her under light with plastic dome(cup) for 2 days then let her harden off.. 1st strain ive grown from sweet seeds so will b interesting to watch her develop and see wot she's capable of.. 😁 Will b doin the usual to her.. Let her grow for few wks, take clones then place into nft.. Hello and welcome back.. Hope you are well and had a good week..👍🍀 14th day from seed was placed into germination we are getting tiny side growth already.. She's giving out very indica characteristics atm and i presumed she wud of stretched a bit more, this is why she was planted with a bit of room from top of pot so i cud top her of with fresh soil around wk 3/4.. As she is growing strong and healthy i will just let her do her thing.. Still only feeding her plain ph6.0 tap water.. Will probably give her a very weak feed during midwk if she looks like she needs it,-depending on her growing rate..we will see how them side arms are coming along nxt wk.. Hopefully she'll b on her 7's leaves and she will get topped definitely by end of 4th wk if not sooner..💥🍪 Thanks again for following, commenting, likes or general questions.. She is definitely showing great potential.. 😍🤞 This wk i topped her as i noticed she was producing her 7's set of leaves.. I removed the lowest set of 1's and 3's as they wer getting in the way of watering.. Ive also taken away the very bottom set of branches that wer growing to aim growth into other sites.. i want clones from her in the nxt wk or 2 max so this is what i am aiming.. As is, i shud have choice of 6 arms 2 choose from.. I will b taking 2 best from her then let her grow out again.. Ive also started feeding her very low nutes as i expect alot of growth in the nxt wk hopefully.. Big thank you to everyone for ur follows, comments and likes.. Hello and welcome back to u all.. Hope you are well and av had a good wk.. 😎👍🍀 This week has gone well for my "Red Hot Cookies" mother.. I decided to take cuttings/clones from her this wk.. I changed my mind from wot i said last wk and as growth was gud i took a clone from central branch at top and 1 from a lower branch.. This has left her wit 3 branches to work from on both the mother and her clones wen they go onto NFT tray.. Her clones shud b well developed by the time she goes in after the current tray which shud b on average 2 wks for clones to take and 2 wks growth in 4inch grodan cubes.. This will give her enough root structure and she shud b explosive wen she gets into hydroponics stage of her life.. 🔥🍪🤞 Huge thanks to everyone for ur follows, comment's and likes.. Hello and welcome back to u all.. Hope you are well and have had a good week.. 😁👍 5th wk of Sweetseeds' "RED HOT COOKIES" and everything is going as planned.. Cuttings had rooted after 8days in propagator which is a gud sign they will b healthy clones if kept in optimum conditions.. I put clones into their 4inch cubes on 15/7/20 and all the nutrients they need will b in cubes for 1st wk.. If they get dry then i will give them a water from bottom with plain ph'd water @5.7 and give them 1 medium dose feed each wk until placed into NFT.. trying to keep solution as close to mom room temps as possible so it dont shock roots with cold..Im very interested to see how they will react in hydro but now is time to b patient n let them get almost root bound.. Because they are a 60%sativa hybrid and they are having roughly 3wks veg under 20hrs day schedule im most likely to place them in hydro at 12/12 straight away.. Hello and welcome back to Sweetseeds "Red Hot Cookies".. Hope u are all well and had a great wk.. 😁👍 Another gud wk for my RHC ckones.. Root ball is swelling nicely.. I realised i cud have probably waited another wk or 2 to take them off her as ive still got about 10-14days b4 they can go into NFT.. my timing was a bit off tbh🤣..essentially ive left myself more work to do making sure as they get bigger they drink more so i check daily n water so dont dry out the rockwool.. Not complaining tho.. Just making a point that timing is a big part in my grows.. So because the 2 girls will get more root bound and more veg time they will most likely need alot more work doing ie, lst, defoling wen in hydro!!.. Started to train the 2 headed RHC clone to open her up a bit more.. Passed on the mother plant to my pals now.. I cud take cuttings from the clones i have after 1st wks growth in hydro but as i have other strains planned from Sweetseeds ive decided to only give her 1 run atm..will definitely run her again in future.. 😁🔥🍪 Watering her everyday(quick root dipping) with room temp plain ph'd water @5.8.. "Red hot cookies" has been a relatively easy strain to grow so far and Ive not had any problems with her either.. 😎🤞 Have taken a few leaves from her this wk so she will b ready to open up under sum higher powered hps lights mixed with leds.. She will b living in a 1x1x2m budbox lite grow tent and will b receiving the usual treatment and flowering plan of 8-9wks from day 1 in NFT.. Put 30litres into the res and added pump, nutes and additives..will start her on a 14hr light cycle under a dimmable hps currently running at 400w and 2xmarshydro sp150.. Will decide nxt Saturday if she goes another wk on 14hrs or swap her to 12/12..totally depends on her 1st wks growth n how well she makes the transfer.. 🤞😁👍 Huge thanks to you all for your continued support, follows, comments and likes.. Weather has been extremely hot and i was worried about them for few days.. She's starting to put her roots down onto the spreader matting on the top channel tray.. Keeping her at ph5.9 atm.. She's nearly doubled in size this wk and i can clearly see she's happy as she is.. Pulling the 2 headed front plant apart to allow her central branches to get a bit more light and air.. Will just leave the bk one to grow natural and only lst her top if she gets to tall.. Roots looking strong and healthy and no problems showing on old or new growth on leaves.. Huge fan leaves she's producing atm.. Emptied out the res today and refilled with 40litrs of her first bloom feed.. These girls are already starting to stink..tried to bend her arms down a bit and open her up n lst top of bk girl, took alot of lower growth from front plant aswell.. Her leaf stems are very long n her leaves are very healthy and she seems in gud form.. No signs of any redness from her as yet but ive read on the Sweetseeds info bout her and she shud start to redden off from bottom up in last few wks of flowering.. Fingers crossed 4 that but i can tell she is gunna b a lovely smoke already.. Everythin u want is in this strain.. She had no problem all this way n seems like a very tough cookie.. Responded very well to lst and hst.. U can tell this is a qaulity strain.. She's responded well to all types of training.. She's coped well with slight ups n downs in ph & ppms..this strain is definitely not a waste of a growers time.. Emptied res and flushed 10ltrs of fresh ph'd water @6.2 - 20°c over root channel tray to remove any junk food left over.. Refilled with 40ltrs fresh water n bumped up nutes very slightly.. Defol'd her thru wk and used plant wires to open her up as much as possible.. 😁👍 Great big thanks to u all for your constant support, comments, follows and likes.. I have to say these girls are an absolute beauty n my camera shots doesn't do it full justice tbf.. Didnt think they wud b ready in all fairness but they have really worked hard these last 2 wks..emptied out res today n flushed 20 litre of plain ph'd water @5.8 and 21°c..this shud have pushed any nute/salt build ups out from the root zone and allow her to drink just water and use up all her reserves in 7days..did a small defol today from lower old leaves.. Harvest nxt Saturday and initial smoke report etc wk after hopefully if all goes well.. 🤞😁 Huge thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. SWEETSEEDS RED HOT COOKIES Tropicana cookies x Tangie Indica 40% Sativa 60% 56 days in flowering THC: 25% An amazing strain that smells beautiful as she looks.. Unfortunately didn't get a red pheno from this seed but it is definitely worth growin this strain.. Will update with dry weight, taste and high wen ready to cure in jars.. 😁 EDITED: 12/10/20 This has become a favourite strain of mine this year.. I can't vouch for the red phenos flavours/effects but im very impressed with this strain.. Her buds are rock solid for a higher end Sativa hybrid.. This might not b a plant for recreation users but heavy hitters will really enjoy the sweet flavours and strong high she delivers.. Im finding her very moreish and im really enjoying smoking her tbh.. Not getting much done tho last few days.. Bottom buds will make great moonrocks so will b saving sum choice smaller nugs to get them prepared for Christmas!!
