Still on bottled water and no nutrients at this point. Started off with 5, eventually transferred 1 outside and one in the livingroom corner, they both ended up dieing due to lack of care, I got busy lol.

Switched from soil to hydroponic buckets this week. They got a little droopy due to the transplant and taking up so much water all the sudden. A day or 2 later and they perked right back up.

Upped the nutrients to full feeding for veg. 60ml per 4 gallons In 5 gallon bucket. Day 34 started some LST tie downs on one plant and did some undergrowth and bad leaf trimming on another plant, left the 3rd plant to do it's own thing.

Really getting bushy week 6 Into week 7. More trimming of weak and larger leaves. Plant A got a major undergrowth trimming. Day 46 - Trimmed undergrowth on plant A again, tied down 2 more branches on plant B. Also changed all buckets with new fresh nutrient water Day 49 - Getting Bushy again, going to stop LST and trimming other than any dying leaves that appear.

Day 51 - Really bushing out and getting wider. Some more hairs are visible, yet no real bud production yet. Roots are long and healthy looking. Still going strong with the same nutrient mixture. Day 53 - Topped up water today and had a casualty unfortunately. 😕 Day 56 - Switched lights to 12-12 to try and induce the flowering process on day 54. Today they are looking like they have more hairs coming along. Also topped up water again. Plants are still growing very fast. And getting bigger and bigger.

Plants look healthy and there are some hairs visible, but no realy bud production yet. Plants are Northern Lights autoflower. I am wondering if it is normal to not see any bud growth at this stage of an autoflower as I've seen lots of other autos flowering in week 5?

IT's definitely not normal. Usually they veg for 3 to 4 weeks and go into flower. Sometimes they take longer, and in the rare occasion, they will not flower and you have to put them into 12/12. If it keep growing buds, good, if it doesn't, then go 12/12.

Day 59 - stretching lots last couple days. Worried I might run out of headroom as its not slowing down and flowering is taking forever to get going. Not sure what the plan is now. Just wait and see what happens the next couple days I guess. Day 62 - Topped up water, drinking lots last couple days. Cut the ph Perfect Grow in half and upped the ph Perfect Bloom by half. Didnt raise the light this checkup. Hopefully this will help it start flowering harder.

I'm curious about the information such as lamp to plant distance and plant height, etc that you enter for that specific week of the diary. Should we be entering the data for the beginning or the end of the week as the values differ as the week goes by. What's the consensus? Thx.

Hey Mate, You can handle this like you want. It gives an overview to the ones who visits your diary and have a look at your actual regime( light, pH, feeding etc.) If there's a problem. It makes helping so much easier if you have all the information. And you can track it of course for yourself, to check up later how you raised a certain Strain. Hope this helps. Good luck and happy trails for the rest of the way 🤞 Cheerz OimRausch ✌️

Day 67 - Topped up water and did a big trimming. Took out a bunch of fallen/dead leafs from the inside and trimmed off a bunch from the insides as there are not going to produce or gather much light being buried in there, also trimned off or moved any leaves that were in the way of bud sites.

Sorry no pics for this week, have been to busy to take pics. This week was more height growth for 2 of the plants and a slow down almost stop in height growth for the 3rd plant. All plants are clearly flowering and on there way to delicious buds. Lots of hairs all over and tons of bud sites. Also did more trimming to all 3 plants of any dead, dieing or weak leaves. (Mostly undergrowth and overshadowed spots where there is lack of light due to above canopy)

Day 75 - Topped up and changed water and nutrient solution. Cut down on the "Grow" and upped the "Bloom". Trimmed more dead dieing and weak leaves. Also trimmed away quite a few smaller branches underneath that just weren't going to have a chance at establishing any good bud sites and most likes would have eventually died off anyways due to lack of light penetration to lower canopy levels. Back left plant has slowed its height growth almost to a stop at around 31 inches from the bucket rim. Front and back right plants have still been growing strong despite the nutrient cut backs but are also forming good flowers at the same time. Will have to boost up the shorter plant to get closer to light as I keep moving it farther away for the other 2 plants. Day 79 - More watering and trimming.

Day 83 - Not much of anything new, more watering and trimming. Humidity is quite high for this stage, looking into small, cheap, and easy ways to cut that down. Day 87 - topped off water, noticed some browning / tip curling on some of the leaves of one plant. Mainly the bigger / mature leaves and leaves near the buds. No browning or curling on younger leaves or lower on the plant. Also other 2 plants seem fine. Not sure the cause.

Anybody have any idea on the cause of my leaves getting brown spots and curling at the tips? It's really just on the big mature leaves and leaves near the buds. Any smaller and younger leaves are still fine. Maybe a nutrient issue? Or is it just that its close to harvest time?

Firstly, the lamp to plant distance and plant height for this week are not complelty accurate as the 3 different plant are all at different heights and distances from the lamp. Had some bud rot issues, humidity was to high and fans were adjusted, which caused stagnant humid air pocket in canopy that led to mold. Pics included are from day 89, I noticed it a day or so beforehand, and ended up chopping of the top of the affected cola to prevent the spread to the rest of the plant. Unfortunate, but a must to save the rest of the crop. Readjusted fans and defoliated, and added salt bucket to bring down humidity and bring better air flow. Since then I have not seen any issues with mold / bud rot and everything looks back on track as far as I can tell. Day 93 - Did some general plabt maintenance and in the process bend a few branches so there might be some more casualties on the way but we will wait and see if they come back. Also had the tie up some outside branches where the colas were beginning to be to heavy for the tiny stem they are on. Harvest is approaching soon for the back left plant. Might end up harvesting main top colas and seeing if I can get more growth out of lower and outside colas before snipping them, never done it before so who knows, an idea to toy with.

Day 101 - Did a mass defoliation on back left plant. Only left necessary fan leaves. Also switched to straight water without nutrients to flush it out. Front plant got a defoliating trim as well, not as major though as its not as far along. Day 105 - Harvested the top half of the smaller back left plant. Took the large top cols and left anything lower and smaller to see if they can get any bigger (double harvest). Will post the pics of buds and trimming, etc. In the final harvest week.

Took longer to grow than expected considering it is supposed to be auto. Also had to flip lights to really induce the flowering phase. Had some bud rot issues, but was totally my fault not the plants, and was still able to save it.

Well the grow is done! Yay! Success, I didn't kill any of them! Have only done small taste test on the buds so can't say to much about how well this strain is for smoking, etc. as it is still curing. As for growing, it took longer than expected, and didn't fully auto without my aid. With that being said, the only realy issue I had was bud rot, which was completely my fault (fan placement/ trimming techniques etc.). I will say that cropking seeds had excellent customer service when I contacted them to ask about the seeds and it not autoing right away, the lady I spoke to was very nice / polite / friendly and professional. They also sent me out a fresh pack of seeds for my troubles and in case these ones didn't produce. A++ for cropkindseeds!!! This was my first grow ever so overall I made mistakes here and there, but learned alot from this grow that I can apply on the next grows. Tried a few different techniques for training and learned a bunch there too. Very pleased the way things turned out considering all aspects and seeing the end result. I did an initial harvest of all top colas on all 3 plants and then left the rest of the plant to grow for about a week to really get some resin on the lower buds, followed by a second and final harvest later. Not sure how much more weight or resin or anything I got out of it compared to doing a single harvest but it was fun trying it anyways. Had alot of small "popcorn" buds - lesson learned for next time (trim those off and focus on tops more). Hang dried all the harvests for anywhere from 5 - 8 days before manicuring and jarring for curing process. **Note - wet weight listed is with all stems and leaves before any trimming** And that's it! Looking forward to the next grow which I just started 3 more plants! :) :)
