Hi Growmies.
This week has been a mixed bag if fun and frolics.i have had ro deal with major heat , root rot and a wife with decorating fever !!!.
Amnesia Haze has been absolutely amazing to work with this week. She has neen feeding really well by the look of her and her growth this week. I have been working the knuckles for.ing this week as it will be a while before I can flip them due to the issues with the NFT. She is huge already in terms of my normal cycles and keeping her managed is going to be fun. She is developing stickiness on her stems already when handled and a slight hint of smell. I cannot count the number of potential mains for flowering as she is covered in growth tips.o am hoping to keepnas much of her going as possible to form a ball of buds.
Red Hot Cookies took a huge hit with the pythos. A stupid error on my part with some root matting allowed pyrhos into the tray above the res I use a grwat innoculant for a sterile res but the heat at 34°c and the wrong matting were a perfect environment for the root rot to thrive. Seeinf them start tobyellow out initially I assumed lighy intensity with the new mars so started there as a solution. After a week of going round the grown , adjusting feeds and stuff , I decided to lift the lid on the trays and spotted the mouldy , black/grey , furry issue staring back at me !!. After the res clean and reset it has taken a few days for them to show some recovery signs. Thankfully the Sweet Afghani Delicious is also now on the mend too amd has grown a little taller the last 2 days. I am confident they will now get busy and show themselves to be fighters in the process. This has been thwarted by the gods of mischief it seems , i don't think i have had this much go wrong in a grow ever !!!. Lol good . job I am a trier and hate giving in.
Until next time , be safe and well
@GardenOfSixx, I started at about 18 and dimmed them initially to 25% on thebsp300. They were not under direct light but sat offset between the two lights. I moved them under the sp3000 ti finish veg time just prior to flipping them. mostly been on 100% at the 14 inches . you will notice issues with bleaching out or upward curling leaves if too close intensity will damage them before heat I feel. In flower it is easy to spot too much light as an issue.
@GardenOfSixx,I tend to forget about the various data on the weekly updates. oops. I did run it between 14 and 16 inches away from the tops. had no issues with distance at all at that. caught the canopy well too lower down
@SmokinGas,Thank you. I have to saybiy is the genetics too. These amnesia are great growers so far. cannot wait to sample her. Thank you for the positive comment.
@SmokinGas,thank you. they did get a really good 6-7 week veg period while i was waiting for some others but i am impressed with their growth rates. great strain
@SwedenX,Thanks for the comments . I didna water drought and the new sp3000 so I don't know which is responsible for the build up. lol. Next run should help determine the lights capabilities against the other Mars ones I have. have 3 strains so can compare nicely among the set up I hope.
@FreshCoastOrganics,Hi , thank you for the positive vibe. Its been a journey with this one.lpl never done a low plant count before but love the room to train more. Thanks for stopping by.
@Sweet_Seeds,Thank you. The amnesia haze is a beauty to grow so far , so aggressive and healthy. I will bring thebother 2 strains back from their root issues too. In recovery right now with new roots forming up better. Thanks for the comments
@PrairieFrostGrow, Thank you. Slowly winning now i think. Has to have been the most difficult germination in years for me . Fingers crossed it gets moving now.
Be careful with the humidity, it seems that you have it very high. Try to keep the humidity below 50% to avoid fungus problems. 💪
Sweet smokes!

@Sweet_Seeds,I have it low again now , the dehumidifier bypass failed and it switched off for the night. Thanks Apolo. so close to finish now too. beautiful plant.
