This plant preformed as expected, when I grow the last 6 seeds, I will use a more aerated soil as well as bigger pots, maybe double and use 10-Gallons, this plant was a water hog, wanting to be fed daily.
Was my first grow with this light and overall very happy, it is very heavy, and bulky not sure that I would go this route, as the new bar light I am trying is just killing it.
Solid tent, 3 grows down and the zippers are still sound and have a solid feel to them, properly;y priced if I get a few more grow out this tent was well worth the money!
These girls produced some very chunky buds, I think the bigger pots and a bit more focus on a double SCROG along with hearty defoliation, these buds can be bigger, clean up was a breeze, most of the sugar leaves just wiped off, I think the drying and curing process was on point, the buds are just beautiful, my largest harvest yet, I will have a few more pictures to upload over the next few days, if you have a chance to grow this one, I would highly recommend it!
So 5 weeks into flower, things from my end look like they are going well, I just do not feel the buds are packing on the weight that I feel this strain should be producing, any thoughts on how to help the buds fatten up?
Hey!
Growing conditions look optimal for flowering and to be honest those buds look pretty filled in for week 5 of flower.
I've got a couple of "high yielders" going now and your buds are much more developed than mine in week 5.
I understand you probably expected more at this week, only thing I could think of is nutrients..
Could it be because of the nutrients? Maybe too much of a mix or the feeding order..
I read that you give them different feed of nutes on each the day, maybe something is unbalanced or is causeing her not to absrob some nutrients correctly..
Don't know, just throwing out some ideas because everything else looks great.
Good luck and happy growing!
@GWSD82, Thanks Brother but if you want to see an awesome example of daring on the verge of just nuts checkout @FoTwenny she has over 20 different strains going if I counted correctly - this was too much for me :)
Ive always wanted to try bruce banner out everytime i see someone growing it they look so gud lol. But yea the girls r lookn great man they guna blow up pretty soon cant wait till they flower out then they will get really big lol. Great job so far bro really nice lookn girls u got here.
@JinksyGrows, Hijacking is not only allowed but enjoyed :) it's about all of us achieve a common goal Enjoying Growing Cannabis" I have another 6 seeds of this strain if I like the outcome I may be inclined to start cloning it and keeping it going, bit next up after this grow is their Bluerry Ghost! You are always welcome t chime in on anything!
@FrostyBlaze420, Hijacking this comment. Do it. Bruce Banner is an absolute guaranteed knockout with heavy yields and potency. A staple to any grow my friend!π
@hanzo385, thanks was thinking the same thing, but I will be defoliating and cleaning up the colas, maybe even topping them again, I have around 3 weeks before I can flower them. Again thanks for stopping by!
@FrostyBlaze420, I believe my next photoperiod grow will be Blueberry Ghost from Original Sensible Seeds "Two legendary marijuana strains combine to produce this very special strain. WeΒ΄ve used a monster Blueberry (Blue Monster) with a deep kushy fruity flavor and added some acidic fruit into the mix with the Colorado Ghost OG and hail the blue titan...Blueberry Ghost OG."https://originalsensible.com/original-sensible-seeds-blueberry-ghost-og~19030
@MrJones,
Sweet well hope they get nice an big for ya n produce some giant ass buds. R u guna be doing the same strain next time as this one or are u guna be doing sumthn different.
@MrJones, i was thinking about mixing a Supersoil just like yours and your right , itβs seems easier , just add h20 and light amount of nutes. Going to try that next for next year. Happy growing ! πβοΈππ
@HerbalPower, Awesome, I am using a new Super Coco mix, and just doing water and a weekly feeding of 30 ML per gallon fish emulsion or fresh compost tea and so far so good on my autos, super easy!
@MrJones, Iβm using Biobizz Starter Pack now with my Auto Jack Herer and sheβs growing fast , Iβm happy with the result. I also tried Alg a mic with my basils and they loved it too πβοΈππ
@The_green_outdoors, I purchased the Geeklight Cree MB-480-V4-PLUS W/ 3500K 660NM UV IR from Alibaba - what I have read about IR is that in the first 2 to 3 weeks of flower it could help and I said could help with promoting bud development as in MORE, sometimes aiding plants to flower faster - UV in the last few weeks of flower can help produce higher THC / there is not a lot of studies on this, at least modern studies, I am going to turn n the UV at the end of week 6 and see what happens.
@MrJones, sorry for all the questions but when do you run your ir,uv or both? Iβm finding some great lights on alibaba but just want to know more regarding the ir and uv. Thanks again
@The_green_outdoors, Thanks, I am truly impressed with the light, it can flower a 5x5 - I feel it out preforms the Spider Farmer 4000 at almost 300 less money - it has built-in IR and UV controlled with separate switches.
@TheOldHippie, Thanks for stopping by, my first grow and recorded here on growing diaries started on Saturday - 08/24/19 - almost 14 months ago - hope this clears things up!
@MrJones, they will ! 100% ! I've had plants wait till they were flushing to fatten up ! these will be chubby before that. they're healthy and strong as an ox, let them do their thing. trust in the cannabis Gods
looking good. I really love these plants visualy with the huge tho k overlapping leaves from the proud kush lineage and vigorous growth.
quite the jungle u got there. I wish I had space and lamps/power to do the same.
I hear that stuff really knocks u on your ass too. enjoy
Thanks! @DaSofaSurfer, Today I have to add a second SCROG and do massive defoliation - there are so many great bud sites fighting for life in that jungle!
Thanks! @Inganjawetrust, Always appreciate the kind words, tomorrow will be 7 days in the dry tent, temps and humidity been on point, may be able to remove some of the smaller buds and the bigger ones another 3 to 5 days!
