I have trouble deciding what I want to wear or eat, let alone pick from like 100 strains. That's why I need y'all to help me select a strain. Check out the selection and let me know which strains I should grow next! Thanks in advance. 😉
THIS IS A TEST: I am going to be starting some new strains in the veg tent soon. I already have GelatO.G from Seedsman, Orange Sherbert from Barney's Farm, and Grand Daddy Purple from Blimburn vegging now. There is only 3-5 more weeks for the girls currently in flower and I am getting ready to ramp up for next run. The 3 strains that have already been started will take up about 1/3 or so of the tent and I want to do a SOG in the rest of the space with the objective of pheno hunting. I will reveg the favourites as mother's and clone from there. Never ran a SOG but interested to see the difference in time and yield. I may implement this strategy in the future if it goes well. Any advice, suggestions, or feedback is always appreciated.
Besides the seeds in the photos, I also have the following:
TGA Subcool/The Dank - Raspberry Jelly, Queen Anne's Revenge, Peace Train, Chernobyl, Qleaner, Cherrygasm, and Deep Purple.
Karma Squad Seeds - Crumbled Lime
T.H.Seeds - Mendocino Madness, M.O.B., Gelato 33 x French Cookies aka French Macaron, French Cookies
Ultra Genetics - Seeds Sugar Tits
In House Genetics - Hells Angel OG x PKM, Cactus x OOKB
Dutch Passion - Seeds C-Vibez
Pheno Finder Seeds - Do Z Dos, Purple Strawberry Bliss S1, Blue Sherbalato
Barney's Farm Seeds - Phantom OG
G13 Labs Seeds - C99, Super Skunk, Skunk #1
Sweet Seeds - Red Hot Cookies, Red Mandarine F1 Fast Version
Cali Connection Seeds - Purple Diesel, Black Kush
Reserva Privada - Purple Wreck
MegaBuds Seeds - Colossal Purps
Medical Seeds - Mendocino Chanel Kush
Freedom of Seeds - Mighty Grape
Europa Seeds - Fruit Slap
Dinafem Seeds - OG Kush
Humboldt Seed Organization - Chocolate Mint OG
In a 4'x4' area, how many plants should I run? I was thinking 9 or 16. Recommended pot size? Any other suggestions, pro tips, or precautions to consider in a SOG? This will be my first attempt at using this growing method and any advice is appreciated. Thank you and happy growing
Удачи, брат! ✊😇
****CHECK OUT WEEK 1 FOR ALL THE STRAIN OPTIONS****
Just a few weeks out from harvesting the current crop, I am already planning and getting prepped for the next season in the garden!
Preliminary strain selections have been made. Please share any thoughts, concerns, or other feedback. These are not final as it will still be a few weeks before planting. If anyone has any other special requests, all feedback will be taken into consideration.
For the sake of diversity and trying several breeders, I went with a few wildcards that were either similar to suggested strains but from a different breeder (such as Monster Zkittles) or strains that were of personal interest (Red Hot Cookies, Sour Lemonaid, & Wildberry).
PRELIMINARY SOG PLAN: Sixteen 12"X12" 4 gallon square pots. I know traditionally SOG is not topped, but I was thinking of doing a single topping on each at the second or third node to increase yield. Grow 2 headed monsters that should easily fill out a 12"X12" space without being too crowded. Right now I tie down and use LST to fill out a nice thick canopy. I will probably plan on a week or so of growth after topping before flipping lights into 12/12. Any thoughts or suggestions on topping?
New genetics on the way. Maybe they'll be here in time for next run. So, if anyone would like to see any of these over any aforementioned strains, please let me know! Not sure if screenshots are allowed. I have no affiliations with this breeder or website. I have never grown any of their genetics and cannot say I recommend or endorse their products in any way. That being said, I decided to take a gamble and pick up some new strains and wanted to share the deets on this promo with everyone in case any of ya'll are interested in trying something from this breeder. I didn't realize they were affiliated with Garden of Green, so got some of those too. They're are doing a BOGO that allowed me to pick up 8 beans for the price of 3. I know, I can be so impulsive... But at $3 USD and some change per seed shipped. I couldn't help myself. Hopefully the genetics are quality and germination rates are high.
Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to sharing this next grow-venture with ya'll! Peace, love, and frosty nugs!!!
Admins: I am not promoting this brand and if these types of posts are not allowed, I will be happy to remove. I just added this to provide additional strain options for viewers to choose.
The time is finally here! I am super excited about this run and look forward to sharing with all of you out there! You chose them (for the most part) and now I will grow them!!!
So... To start. I apologize, I sort of messed up. I assumed that Attitude Seeds sent me exactly what I ordered, but I should not have assumed. I never received any notification that any items would be substituted, so I guess I trusted blindly. I was looking all over for the Cactus x OOKB from In-House and the French Macaron from T.H.Seeds. After a while of comparing my orders it dawned on me that they replaced the French Macaron with Strawberry Glue from T.H.Seeds. I found another pack (NOT from In-House & I don't recall strain or breeder at the moment) that I can only assume is the replacement for the Cactus x OOKB. Huge bummer to be honest, but it is what it is, right?
Since there are 2 Regular seeds in the mix, I threw in a special request from a friend who gifted me some Jenny Kush regular seeds from Rare Dankness. If they all turn out female, there will be room in the other half of the 8x4 for her, or whoever might need a little extra space.
Here is the final cut for the 4x4 SOG:
1. Jenny Kush from Rare Dankness
2. French Cookies from T.H.Seeds
3. Sour Lemonaid from Dank Genetics
4. Green Gelato from Royal Queen
5. LSD from Barney's Farm
6.Wedding Cake from Barney's Farm
7. Cinderella 99 from G13 Labs
8. Peyote WiFi from Seedsman
9. Sugar Tits from Ultra Genetics
10. Monster Zkittles from Monster Genetics
11. Blue Dream from Humboldt Seed Organization
12. Chocolate Mint OG from Humboldt Seed Organization
13. Red Hot Cookies from Sweet Seeds
14. Blueberry from Dutch Passion
15. Melon Gum from Dr. Underground
16. Wildberry from BC Bud Depot
17. Hell's Angel OG x Platinum Kush Mints
I am germinating them in Jiffy starter peat pellets. My first time using these, but I don't have any inert soil and figured these should work. Under and surrounding the Jiffy pellets is Roots Organics 707 top dressed with about .25 tsp of each: Azos, Mycos, and Recharge.
I plan to also log separate strain diaries as along side this multi-strain diary. I got a lot of photos. I need to do some minor edits, but will get them uploaded ASAP.
8/13: Several strains have begun to sprout! Everything looking good, no signs of burn.
8/15: Only 2 seeds have not sprouted. I will give a few more days, and if no sprouts then I will germinate replacements.
Thanks for stopping by my garden and happy growing!
Peace, love, and frost nugs!
Fo' Twenny here back with another update!
I will be updating and uploading more photos through out the week. I hope you'll ride along and give me a follow!
The deets:
Feeding with .2 ml/gal of RapidStart and .2 ml/gal of SuperThrive, Adjusted pH to 6.5 and then add .25 tsp of recharge.
8/16 - 8 days post sow. All but 2 seeds have sprouted.
I was especially concerned for the Melon Gum because I only had a 2 pack and both beans were quite pale. I gently dug around in the peat pellets and found the bean with a fresh, healthy tap root! I expect she should be popping up by tomorrow evening. The other bean yet to pop is the Jenny Kush. I was gifted 5 Jenny Kush seeds, and I will wait until tomorrow to see if she sprouts a tap root before popping another one. Hopefully, I will have more luck with the next one.
Successful germination in 16 of 17 photoperiod seeds. With a total of 19 of 20 if you include the 3 autoflowering cultivars running along side. They're being documented in separate diaries and will stay in the veg tent when the photoperiods are moved into the bloom room. Go check 'em out!
8/20 Update: Melon Gum has sprouted. If you're not following my Zkittlez Auto diary, you missed that I almost killed this girl on accident. Graceful me, knocked over her solo cup and she got stuck to a sticky trap. Her stem split in half and I put a piece fabric medical tape to mend her and she is actually growing and doing well regardless of her injuries. All the girls, except Jenny have sprouted and are developing. I planted a new Jenny seed 8/18 and left the original in too, just in case.
Please feel free to ask questions or provide constructive criticism. Check back throughout the week for new photos and updates. I look forward to hearing from ya'll. Happy growing!
Peace, ✌️

8/24 update:
Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for following me on this 17+1 strain photoperiod SOG grow adventure!
Yes, I said plus one. If you're following me, you may have already seen that I decided to sow one more strain. The first Jenny Kush seed didn't germinate and even if it did, we have 3 possible males in the garden, the rest are feminized. Since I bought sixteen 12 inch square pots to fill a 48" x 48" footprint, and we have some regular seeds in the mix, I figured it'd be a good idea to add one more strain. I went with another breeder I have never grown before, Expert Seeds. The strain is Gorilla x Cookies. My "helper" forgot to wet the seeds after I had sowed them and the top soil was a bit dry. I was not in the garden a little less than 48 hours and I gave them water when sowing, but I hope they didn't dry out too much. If the Gorilla Cookies doesn't germinate, I will rule that one as user error and not on the breeder.
The rest of the garden is growing strong with the exception of the Sour Lemonaid. She sprouted looking a bit burnt and has some deformed leaves. In my experience, they usually grow out of it, but only time will tell.
Thanks for stopping in and if you get a chance, check out a few of my other diaries and give me a follow.
Happy growin', happy harvestin', and happy tokin'!

9/1 Update:
Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for following me on this 16 strain photoperiod SOG grow adventure!
If you're just joining us. We have 18 photoperiod seedlings in the tent. 16 of them will go into 12"X12" square pots in a 4x4 sea of green. I plan to top once just above the third node. I will also allow the 2 shoots from the second node to grow with the top two to form 4 main colas.
The Gorilla x Cookies sprouted 8/26! STILL nothing from Jenny Kush.
Weak-sauce!
The garden is happy and healthy! I am going to transplant this upcoming weekend into 6" x 6" square pots so they have room to stretch their legs and build a nice foundation before going into bloom. With Jenny seemingly out if the running, we have 17 seedlings and 2 of them are regular seeds. Hopefully at least one of the two will be female. I am going to say both will be little ladies! If we have an extra female she will veg a bit longer to go on the other side of the 4'x8' bloom tent. That's all I have to report today!
Thanks for stopping by my garden!

Fo' Twenny here!
Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for following me on this 16 strain photoperiod SOG grow adventure! We have 18 strains running with 2 regular strains, I want to be sure we can fill up the whole SOG.
9/7 - Just to recap last week. 9/5 I transplanted from the 16 oz solo cups into a one gallon 8" tall Active Aqua 6" x 6" Square Pots. Today, I topped and defoliated. Everything is looking good, now just waiting for them to bounce back. Hoping to be ready for flower within next week or two. This is my first run using a modified SOG method, and not sure how long it will take for them to be ready. Ideally I'd like each main growing shoot to be about 12" or so before sending to 12/12.
BAD NEWS:
Half of the blue diodes have gone out in the TMLAPY light. This light was actually gifted to me shortly after a friend purchased it from Amazon and realized it was too small for their space. It seemed to be serving it's purpose well for vegging photos and running bumper crops of autoflowers but it failed only four months after the warranty period ended! Weak-Sauce! Welp, looks like it's time to upgrade the 24"x48" tent to Samsung LM301H boards. I ordered a 320w straight single piece heatsink with 3 boards from Geeklight. I went with the 3k spectrum and switchable UV/IR since all my autoflowers bloom under this light.
RHIZOSPHERE:
.25 tsp/gal Blue Planet Gold Shield Silica Supplement
.25 tsp/gal Fox Farm Gringo Rasta Cal-Mag
1.5 tsp/gal BigBloom
.25 tsp/gal Boomerang
.125 tsp/gal Wholly Mackerel
PPM: 749
pH: 6.4
1 tsp/gal Southern AG Garden Friendly Fungicide compare to Hydroguard
2 TBSP/gal Serenade

9/17 - Day 39: The garden is looking really good. I noticed some white blotches on a few leaves. I'm not sure if it's just water spots from my helper's carelessly watering causing water spots from the Nutrient solution or the start of a PM infection. Never really dealt with PM, but decided to spray them with some serenade. I also sprinkled with a little more White Dutch Clover seed on top soil.

🙋♀️Fo' Twenny here!🙋♀️
Back with another update on the viewer selected multi strain SOG. If you're just joining us, we have these photo-dependant ladies vegging in our 48"x 24" VIVOSUN tent. I have been doing a lot of heavy defoliation and pruning the past week. I also made a few upgrades in the bloom tent and moved a few of the cultivars into bloom under 12/12. Also, I realized my BlueLab Conductivity Meter has the option to switch to EC. Since EC is the most accurate way to measure the nutrient concentration in a solution, I will now be measuring and reporting EC readings rather than PPM.
I am honestly super stoked about every single plant in this run. That said, I think I am probably most impressed by the 🍭🎅🏻 COTTON CANDY CANE lady from Emerald Triangle Seeds. She is incredibly vigorous. She was started nearly a month after all the others (except the 🦍🍪 GORILLA x COOKIES) and has already caught up to some of the taller plants in the run. Special thanks to those guys for sending the freebies for me to try out! Definitely want to try more from this breeder! She is almost a month behind the other plants and is almost as tall as the tallest cultivars started on 8/10. All in all, everything looks great.
Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome.
Now, for the weekly break down!

- Added a BOTANICARE 48" x 48" low-tide flood tray on top of six 4" tall cinder-blocks with a low-profile motorcycle oil-pan for the water to drain into beneath the flood tray.
- I transplanted eleven cultivars into black 12" tall Active Aqua brand 12" x 12" square pots and inserted 3' fiberglass garden stakes into the center of the rootball near the main stem of each plant. Each stake goes to the bottom of the 12" pot. All transplants have nice solid root balls due to being slightly rootbound. I knew I'd likely run short on premixed soil, so I decided to transplant the largest plants first. Of course, I ran out of soil after 11 plants were transplanted. It seems like I used a lot more soil than usual with this method and in tgese pots.
- I mixed a new batch of soil using the same recipe. I will give the five smallest gorls a few more days to grow taller. That will give this batch of soil a little time to innoculate.
- I moved the 11 transplants into the 96" x 48"bloom tent under 12/12 lighting schedule.
🚿FEED DAY!🚿
She received approximately 1 gallon of solution. I mixed 12 gallons of solution for all the plants I have in flower. 1 gallon of that was then measured and fed to this cultivar.

Back with another update on our 16 STRAIN SOG! I decided to leave all of the details for my single strain diaries. Every plant pictured here is documented in their own individual diaries. This was meant to be more of a "highlight reel" of the overall garden, so I am getting back to that. Want more information on grow techniques, medium, equipment, feed, etc??? It's all in those individual diaries. Go check them out and maybe drop me some likes and comments while you're there! I always love hearing from you all! 😉
Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome.

Update: 8/13/20 - We aready have sprouts in 15 of 20 (3 Autos outlined in separate Diaries) solo cups! Germination occurred evening of 8/9/2020. Hoping the rest pop up soon!
I have tried growing wedding cake twice now and both times they never made it past the sprouting stage... Maybe old seeds.
LSD will be my next big grow and I have heard lots of good feedback from it.
@FoTwenny, I am emailing with someone named julien right now. He isn’t being very friendly and I really hope I can get what I paid for too :( and literally I’d ask too- shooooooot can’t hurt lmao 😂
@MVgenetics, They reached out to send replacement asking for order and a photo. Should be sending replacement. I inquired about testers to run on Grow Diaries, but the didn't respond to that part of my email. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️ Can't fault a girl for asking, right? 😂😂😂
@FoTwenny, exactly, on my zkittles glue it’s as if it wasn’t opened to hold the vial, it’s still flat. :( hope you get a response.. I have heard nothing back from my email yet....
@FoTwenny,in 5 gals u could fit 20 in that space but id prolly go with around 15 so they got a little space for the stretch. Add a couple for smaller pots subtract for bigger. I got 20 on a 8x7 platform in my 10x10
@FoTwenny, I will watch you excitedly 😀👍. I've grown well over 200 different strains in the past 10 years, LSD from Barney's was one of the best of them 😃. Very strong unique taste 😍. You do a great job 👏🏼, keep it up 😎
@MadeInGermany, Thanks for stopping by! This is the preliminary list as I have a week or so prior to germinating. LSD will definitely be on the list. It has by far received more vote than any other stain in my catalogue. Week one has all strains listed... Nearly 100.
Shit what a collection your got yourself 😂 I'd definitely vote for the Dr. Underground - Melongum. I've done a few grows from that breeder and must say I've beem very impressed, they seem very underrated and besides there's not many of those journals around in here, so it would be pleasant to see something different 😉
@BlackOpsGrow, Good choice! That one is actually at the top of my list. It looks pretty amazing every grow I have seen. And like you said, I don't see much from that breeder here. I think that Melon Gum just made the cut! Thanks for your input!
@FoTwenny, aah okay :D I'm a typical sativa guy and mimosa evo seemed to be the shit when it comes to high quality 2020 sativa strains. Purple punch is an indica dominant but the description from barney's just made me buy into it :D
Great selection uve chosen.. Gud luck with all strains from all banks.. Will b watching with intrest to see for new breeders ive not used b4.. Stay safe n hope they turn out great 4 u.. 👍🍀
I want to see your take on Green Gelato by RQS. So we can compare 😋 This strain should do nicely in a SOG.
Wheeee, I was I had so many seeds 😍 Many harvests and highs to come ✊
I would love to help you pick a strain but unfortunately my head is now wrecked from trying to choose from you awsome selection 🤣🤣🤣
HAPPY GROWING AND GOODLUCK
🌱😎👊👍✌️
Man...... I've said it before but I think you and @Ferenc are 2 of the busiest growers here 😉
I'm impressed that you both do such a great job with so many things going on at once.
@FoTwenny, I know 2 people who can handle that way. Yes, you are right I would choose the same smokin' every day instead of taking crap arficial magic pills. My bad, better to say for most of the people is mistake to smoke every day because they just do ot with no intent. Personally I can not handle and do my daily things I am more relaxing home guy. But yes my friend for example she smokes every day but what I can see not because of the medicinial reason or somthg not even quality I just need to smoke style to be stoned and watch idiot videos. I got you yes, i am envy I.wish i could handle weed like that 😁 I used to smoke every day for me is not good makes me lazy. I can not go to the bank, shopping etc .... 🤐🤷♂️🤪
@Ferenc, Yeah, I do partake in the regular for pain management. It's so much better than the pharmaceutical crap the doctors try to shove down your throat. I'd rather smoke daily than be on pain meds, fo sho! To each their own, but I am one of those anomalies that can function just fine while stoned. People at work don't notice, and I am well respected in my field. No one would guess I am a closet smoker. I know my limit, and I'm not trying to smoke myself stupid, just try to forget my chronic pain. You pickin' up what I'm puttin' down?
@Treighfunky, Smoking every day is a mistake. The same like alcohol. I learnt. Especially when you grow you have got a lot there is a temptation. Like you have got a pub do not start drinking learn how to control and be responsible. Do it sometimes once a week or whatever just to wash off the stress and stuff that comes end of the month or week. But daily for what? You will be a different person after several years. I use the medication side not the drug side.... that's why I started growing because I can try whatever I want not from the street sprayed shit.... People don't know. I do not know what to drive a Ferrari or Lamborghini because I have never had a chance. If I had money 💰 and would be able to afford I am pretty sure I didn't want to change that quality and experince. The same with this growing home made quality genetics weed.
I would choose Zkittlez (RQS) or Blueberry (Dutch Passion). Both of them are good yielders and both have interesting notes in my opinion.
Ps: What a seed collection, my gosh 😳
@@pepitogrillo, I don't have a lot of experience pheno hunting and was thinking I would reveg our favorites to clone so we can have a whole garden of frosty fire goodness!
@FoTwenny, in summary... yes. But with some appoinments: I've grown 3 zkittlez 2-3 years ago and 2 Green Gelatos this year. If you find "the pheno" you will love their strains, but... if you get the wrong one its just another regular strain.
That's why I always try to grow at least 2-3 plants from RQS and then make clones of then, wait till harvest and throw to the t trash the ones that doesn't work for me.
I know that there is a lot of work, but.... their phenos are amazing in my humble opinion.
My Suggestion would be like this.
If you do a SOG,,, choose similar growing Plants... or the same strain... to keep them in control
and I hate choices like this.......my suggsestion would be like,,,, grow them all..... germinate 2 seeds from each package and share the rest of the pACKAGE WITH A GROWMIE
so for your SOG run go at seedfinder eu and read about the strains and look for similar characteristics
like the time of flower, the height etc
@Mrs_Larimar, You're probably right, but I want to try 16 different strains. 😂😂😂 I will reveg and clone from the favourites! I wish I had room to plant them all!
PLEASE highlight the French macaron when it starts to grow! I almost ordered a pack when I ordered OMG cookies and I want to see if I goofed up my choice!
@PremiumNamaste, Assuming I have time, I am hoping to do a multi-strain diary as well as individuals strain diaries. If I can't find time for them all, I will try to make sure I at the very least do an individual strain diary for the French Macaron! Thanks for stopping by my garden. Cheers and happy growing!
@PremiumNamaste, I got it as a freebie from Attitude. It was one of the main reasons I went with them for that order. Only qualm is I paid extra and didn't get breeder packs. Hopefully it is what they say it is...
