What a joy to grow this cultivar from Seedsman Seeds! She took off from seed and never looked back, not one issue or hiccup with her entire run. Zkittles are VERY thirsty once their roots are established and aren't shy about letting you know either. She'll droop at the first sign of thirst and don't worry about overfeeding this lady either, she's got a Jethro Bodine appetite and will handle 1200-1400 ppm's and smile! Seedsman lists 75 days from germination which is about right, although I ran mine 82 days as they were still stacking and I waited for the trichomes to reach about 10% amber. I don't like to let my indica dominate cultivars trichomes go much past 10% amber as the indica is already relaxing. The next time I run this strain I may try chopping just as the trichomes turn milky and see how/if it alters the effects. The cured buds are dense and sticky as hell! When smoked the the fruity, berry terpenes that tease your nose carry through to the palate giving a smooth, fruity taste that that lingers on the tongue coupled with a little bit of nose tickle! A great day or nighttime indulgence that never fails to please!
Get some of these beans...I guarantee you'll thank me! ππGrow Strong Canna Fam!
What can I say...after running three SunSystems 315 LEC's with great success in my 4x8 I made the switch to LED's. I did my research, talked to other growers, then decided to go with two HLG's 650R's. I added to each of them HLG's 30w supplemental UV bars which attach directly to the main quantum board...nice clean setup! The thing I liked most about these lights, besides the massive 2.81 umol output, is the fact that you can hang these bad boys a recommended 30"-48" above the canopy depending on stage (I've had them @ 24" during flower and the girls LOVED it!) which is unlike the majority of the other LED's which have much closer recommended hanging heights, which in my mind affects the coverage area. My two 650R's absolutely ROCK my Gorilla 4x8! I wouldn't go back to CMH's or with anything else after seeing the results these powerhouses can provide!ππ
Another product that absolutely hits it out of the park! I LOVE my Gorilla 4x8 and only wish I had a 5x9 to go with it so I could run photo's and auto's in separate tents OR use one for a mother to clone and the other for propagation. Gorilla tents are the best made period, with heavy duty components in every high stress area and because of the quality materials they use my 4x8 has over 3 dozen runs through it and still looks great with all the zippers, windows, vents and fabric withstanding the use and abuse without a hitch! I would recommend doing what I did and get the High CFM kit for any of their tents as it (a) prevents the tent from 'sucking in' which cuts down your grow space, and (b) it's great for attaching a Trellis Net to as you can adjust the height you want it at. Definitely a MUST HAVE! GROW STRONG!!! πͺπ
Seedsman Auto Zkittles...what a thirsty, chow hound she is! What a fun cultivar to grow. She'll veg for a good 30+ days all the while getting hungrier by the day. She'll take 1200ppm and laugh at you while drinking 1 1/2 g a day to satisfy her constant thirst. Yes, you have to feed and water her more frequently than some but the absolutely gorgeous, HEAVY/STICKY buds she rewards you with makes it all worthwhile! Let her go 80 days and she'll give your scale a run for its money! I can't wait to grow this Seedsman strain again as she's definitely one of my absolute favorites and I'm sure she'll be one of yours too! ππ
I'm running all 10g fabric pots- Six of them are filled with Fox Farms Happy Frog mixed with Natures Living Soil Autoflower Concentrate, two are filled with SOHUM Living Soil. Every pot's medium ph's @ 6.2-6.8 except one SOHUM which is @ 5.2-5.4! WTH? Don't know how she's alive!
Must be genetics, maybe that strain was breed in hydro for past generations, i have a plant that drinks 7.5 ph water and when i lowered it to 6.3 she started getting sick. Had to go back to 7.5 ph. Smh.
Hi, im getting into growing and use sohum, what does the " 2 1/2g" mean when you say "2 1/2g straight non-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.4". And what type of water do you use, Ro, Tap, Etc.
Thank you any help is greatly appreciated.
@CainHeim, I use well water from the tap which runs around 200ppm and 7.4-7.8 ph before I adjust. The 2 1/2g was referring to how much TOTAL water I gave which was split evenly between my plants. DON'T over water.... biggest 'noob' mistake. Let your plants tell you when they are thirsty and take care of what you can't see (the ROOTS) and the rest will take care of itself! Good luck with your grows and Merry Christmas! ππ
@TheCannaProphet, thanks for the reply. I got fungus gnats in my NLS as well. For whatever reason they all disappeared after my first application of SLF100 even though it's completely unrelated. Not sure how or why but they never came back.
@HashCakes, Thanks for checking out my diary! I had two growing in SOHUM soil and one did excellent, the other had issues. When I checked the ph of the SOHUM with the plant with issues I found that it was @ 5.2....WAY too low. I don't know if it was a bad bag or what but it pissed me off. The NLS plants did really well but using it brought Fungus Gnats, which could have only come from the NLS as I've NEVER had them previously. So now I've gone back to my Ol' Reliable Mother Earth Coco/Perlite with 100% Organic Dry Amendments or Liquid Nutrients depending on the run. Hope this helps you...Grow Strong! ππ
I have the seeds Gelato OG in my Run 2 diary & one of them is a freaking monster!! By far the biggest plant in my tent! Canβt wait to see how yours turns out friend! Happy growing!βοΈπΌπ±
