Gorilla girl sweet seeds

So the awesome people over at sweet seeds sent me these seeds to test out. So far this one is doing well . I plan on doing a scrog this time around. Stay tuned.

All is well so far . Its really got kind of a unique leaf shape I think it resembles a mint plant sort of. Which is a coincidence that the pheno of girls scout cookies they used to cross with gorilla glue was actually called thin mint go figure lol. I plan on topping at the end of the week maybe sooner depending on how much it grows.

Well i topped her a couple of days ago and as soon as she starts growing again ( as soon as she is healed) im waiting a day or two then topping these 4 branches making 8. Its similar to mainling i suppose just with some slight variations .

She took quite a while to bounce back from being topped but she seems to be growing again . I've done some light suoer cropping not really crimping the branches but just bending them since they aren't very established yet and I feel like this will stimulate growth but crimping would have stunted it.

Well first off ide like to apologize to sweet seeds for not keeping these diaries updated for the last 2 months. My dad just died in a motorcycle accident and between the funeral arrangements, lawyers, siblings I don't like(lol),and just all around depression I've been dealing with. I kind of stopped putting as much attention towards my hobbies. But as you can see this beautiful version of gorilla cookies (gorilla girl) by sweet seeds is definitely one of those strains that you would definitely want to keep a mother plant of because its just all around an excellent plant to grow. I am going for my personal record with this plant because the last gorilla cookies strain i did I was disappointed that I didn't grow a monster because I liked the smoke so much which is a mistake I won't be making this time. I already know that it will easily break my record because its already far bigger than anything I've harvested and I haven't even flipped it to flower yet . Omg imagine this big beauty after it 2 week stretch. Im actually planning to start the 12-12 light cycle in the morning so stay tuned and watch this girl triple in size over the next couple weeks. She is blowing up she won't have a any problems filling out the 4x4 tent .I think I'm going to give her some supplemental light pretty soon. I'll probably go with a maxsisun pb 2000 that I already have which would increase the current wattage of 410w to 610w actual watts. I also started removing all the little stuff that won't ever become a big fat top. I do this over the course of the first 2-3 weeks . I try to be done cutting just before its done with its 2 week stretch do i I can take advantage of the accelerated growth to heal it up for the most part before it starts packing on buds. My philosophy while I'm "lollipopping " is that if its not already something then it'll never be. I like to focus as much of the accelerated growth towards my mains I already have instead of trying to gain a bunch of mediocre at best bud sites like a lot of people do. Just because the top of the branch made it to the light does not mean it will be a kola. It needs some girth to the branch supplying it the nutrients it needs to become a nice healthy bud. If that makes sense. Peace guys and be sure and follow along with this ones progress I promise it'll be worth it just to see this strain show just how beastly it can be. Its truly my favorite strain . It's high yielding , excellent for pressing top shelf rosin, and second to none (in my opinion) in regards of potency.

Well she's enormous . . . Im loving the vitality and strength of this strain . It is a true gorilla in every way. Did you see the branches ? Nough said lol oh and there's signs of little budlets popping up everywhere too . Can't wait till harvest.

Well she has got some stink to her now and I mean that in the best way possible. The budgets are starting to give a preview of what they will become over the next 30 days . Im on a highway heading out of town for work as I type and just remembered I didn't take pics this week but don't worry ill have my girlfriend take some and send them to me so I can add them later this evening . My bad lol

She's a blinger for sure . A true Lucy in the sky with DIAMONDS! That's why I absolutely love these genetics ! Two absolute titans for parents has brought to existence pretty much exactly what you would expect . The legendary resin production of gg and the terpy goodness gsc. I've never had what you call a bad pheno growing any version of gorilla cookies but this one does stand out from the pack . Of course this is the only one I've grown to these proportions as well lol. I know one thing im definitely holding on to this pheno for a while and have plenty of clones of her biting at the bit to get their spot in the flower area. Till next week ✌️

The trichomes have really piled on and look like they aren't slowing down any time soon. The smell is super strong like you'd expect from a strain like this one. The terp profile is pungent yet sweet/ fruity . Truly a delight to the senses. The buds are still coming along they still have alot to go but everyday it gets obviously closer to the fatties they can and will be.

She smells out of this world and its to the stage now where I have to remind myself everyday that its still has at least 2 and a half to 3 weeks to go. But dam Is ot hard to wait sometimes (no matter how many harvest I get under my belt it doesn't get easier lol) but well worth it . I did an experiment once to show how much harvesting early affects yield/quality. I did one the right way and 2 others . 1 I harvested 1 week early and the other I harvested 2 weeks early. The buds on all 3 were pretty close in size (at least they seemed that way on the plant) but then once trimming happened the true story came out. The 1 week one was about a half once less than the good one but it suffered in the taste department and and the other one was a whopping 2 and half ounces less. Crazy right . And if they would have been as large as this plant the difference would have been far more significant . Till next week ,peace ✌️.

I'm officially flushing her now the buds aren't going to gain much more in size, its simply waiting for that o so delicious resin to become o so delicious lol. It should go at least one more week (at least) but am I that disciplined? Prolly not! Hehe I sure am going to try but I also have to keep in mind that if I want any if this smoke for Christmas I better at least cut some ready tops down in a week so I can at least have them some what dry on Christmas day its to bad I didn't switch to flower a couple weeks sooner... but enough of me debating with myself . This harvest was really sweet and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I was hoping to break a pound but oh well better luck next time. The whole house just reeks 👌. Its for sure obvious we have harvested here , the nose doesn't lie. There will be a whole bunch more of the dry ice hash as well since I still have an abundance of sugar leaves in the freezer just waiting.
