Ending 4 week four of total life. Seems to like the soil and nutes. Slow starter, but growing nicely.

LST on the little shorty. Cream mandarine has lots of leaves compared to some other varieties. 9 and 11 is not uncommon on this one!

So I was hoping she would start to flower, but I guess not. I have 2 more of the Sweet Seed Cream Mandarine left—- so next time I will try and top them (even thought it’s not recommended for autos). She is taking a while.

So this plant was a tough one from the beginning. It was a photo and it was supposed to be an auto. It took a long time to finish and it had to be chopped when it started to herm out. However the smell and taste is still great!

So I faced so many issues with this grow and muscles through them. This was one of my first plants ever and it lasted a long time. Live and learn! Peace love and good growing 🌿🍀🙏🏻

This strain is a long flower gal. These were put in soil on 6/29. They were 3+1 seed promos so I did one outside and one inside. Now both inside. The big bushy one was 100% inside grow and still lagging. I have two more of these seed and Will top next time. Considering I have three plants that were a month behind and further along...

Ok so I thought this gal was going into flower, but it’s looked the same for the last few weeks. I bought these seeds from SeedSupreme.com and they take the seeds out of the dealer packs. I am convinced that this is not a Cream Mandarine or even an autoflower at this point! I have plants that were hatched at the same time that are drying... I guess I’ll just keep her going, but this sucks.

Still not sure if this is the Cream Mandarine I bought from seedsupreme... could be a goofy phenotype or just a seed mix up—- either way, this plant likes to be treated like a photoperiod—- now she flowers

Grow Questions

So I have this cream mandarine auto that would not flower. I had it at 12/12 for he last two weeks and it finally started. Should I just keep it at 12/12 until harvest or can I switch it back to 18/6 to speed it up? Will it re veg? Relative noob...

Don't switch back.. While it's true that autos don't need 12/12.. It's also true, that the seed you have might simply be a genetic outlier, lacking enough of the ruderalis genes to work as an auto.. - If it didn't flower by itself, keep the cycle as it is.. Even if it "shouldn't" reveg, it's a good possibility it will.

So she is stacking up and stretching more! About time! Keeping her healthy and she looks like she will be a producer! —-hope so since I have photos born on the same day much further along than this freak auto!

Just pulling off some the fan leaves that are blocking the lower bud sites—- this will be a huge producer, but it’s taking forever and acting more like a photo versus and auto...

Very nice autumnal fade going— but still at least two more weeks out and not the biggest buds in the world—- lots of smaller ones. This is really been a kick in the teeth.

Yeah looking at your pictures I found myself double checking the strain type because this sure does look like a photoperiod.
Cannawolf
Cannawolfcommented4 years ago
@ChitownCannaChica, I was looking at the amount of time it spent in veg 7 weeks is a long time for an auto. Also this is what it looks like when it's only at the beginning of flowering maybe 2 weeks in for a photo period. In my experience with autos you should see more bud growth by now.
ChitownCannaChica
ChitownCannaChicacommented4 years ago
@Cannawolf, good to know! How can you tell by looking? I bought three seeds and got 4... one is flowering and seems stumpy. This one is different with More leaves

@ChitownCannaChica, no shame in that. That’s awesome too! And Yeah Gov jelly bean at least did one thing right.
ChitownCannaChica
ChitownCannaChicacommented5 years ago
@Swanberg, yeah I’m a rare both fan! Neighbor growing up was Dave Martinez—- played for both and helped to coach the cubs to the WS. But have the whole sox team autograph ball from the 90s! Only good thing is out crappy Governor legalized medicinal grows!!!
MaryJaneUSA
MaryJaneUSAcommentedweek 104 years ago
That is a one healthy ass plant. Now, I’ve had an Autoflower where she was vegetating up until week 8. It was from vigorous defoliating. Don’t give up. It will give you a huge yield. But right now, your plant can use some less nutrients. You can ultimately switch to 12/12 and force it to flower.
ChitownCannaChica
ChitownCannaChicacommented4 years ago
@MaryJaneUSA, thanks! I just switched her to 12/12. It’s a little frustrating
Green_Dream

I have the same experience with one Blue Amnesia Auto from Dinafem(not blooming). I have a feeling that auto sativas fuck up on the auto side, just a feeling though. The other seeds from the same batch turned out as they should. She looks awsome though :D maybe I can see a beginning of a Mag def. ;)
ChitownCannaChica
ChitownCannaChicacommented4 years ago
@Green_Dream, yeah I think you are right! Need to up the cal mag—- didn’t think she would be around this long! As a first time grower—- I popped 7 seeds and I have two supposed autoflowers doing the same thing—- I harvested 2 plant and have 2 that are taking their time—-switched to 12/12.
