Just transplanted my 3 freshly sprouted Gorilla Glue Auto #4 into Espoma Organic Potting Mix with about 30-40% perlite and 1 1/2 cup Espoma Plant Tone in each 5 gal fabric pot. I have the Mars Hydro TSW2000 set up about 20-24 inches away from the plants at an intensity of 50% (should this be higher?). I have an inline fan pulling air out and through a carbon filter. I am watering with filtered tap water with a PPM of about 150 and pH'd to 6-6.5. How much should I be watering these pots each? when I transplanted them they each got about 4 pints of water each in total this watering session. Any tips appreciated for a first grow!

Growth has been a little slow over the last week since sprout. Haven't given any nutrients apart from the plant-tone I Mixed into the soil when potting the plants. Watering with De-chlorinated tap water at pH 6-6.5 and ppm of 148. I will be watering with low dose of Fox Farm Big Bloom and CalMag plus on next watering.

One of my plants (picture included in week 2) seems to have something wrong with it as shown by the white lines/bright discoloration on the leaves and new growths. The leaves themselves also seem to have a thinner shape compared to the other 2 plants. Is this cause for concern?

I wouldnt worry. The first few sets of leaves can be funky. Just watch out for overwatering and overfeeding. If you're on week 2, there's no reason for nutes, wait until the rounded cotyledon leaves start turning yellow before you feed. Good luck!

These girls have been growing great over this past week and I think it has officially transitioned from Sproutling to Veg stage. Added a tiny humidifier that should help RH levels and keep it between 50-60%. Opening up the tent today I already could start smelling that dank smell. Day 17 started LST. Noticed one of the leaves on Plant 1 had broke its growth so it fell of when I went to LST it.

Plant #2 has shown pistils and signs of pre-flower just going into week 4, pretty early but I blame it on the seemingly non-consistent genetics. They've been growing so fast I need to LST at least once a day. The other 2 plants are slightly lacking behind but they haven't shown any pistils yet so I'm not too worried. Super excited for these newly exposed bud sites to grow!! Day 26: did some defoliation on plants #1 and #3, and some very light defoliation on #2, just to expose some more budsites as plants 1 and 3 were getting VERY dense. Overall, they are looking better and less bushy. Last watering was just water and CalMag pH to 6.2-6.8. Will feed plant #2 with some bloom nutes as it has been in pre-flower for about a week, and the other 2 plants with the listed veg nutes Day 27: Plant #2 got its first feeding of Bloom nutes in the form of Fox Farms tiger bloom at 1.5tsp/gal. The other 2 plants got regular Veg nutes with calmag

I'm seeing some holes/yellow spots on a couple leaves of this plant. It also seems to be growing slower and more Dense than my other plants. Is this cause for concern or is this plant just a little slower to grow? I'm thinking its just inconsistent genetics.

your plant looks lush (plenty of N). Internodes are tight. New leaves show hint of interveinal chlorosis and a little twist, possibly. (last 2 = possible elevated P). K looks fine as in no symptoms that i see. If anything i'd say you should dial back a hair on P, if you can. You started fertilizing recently. the soil may have more to give. Easy to adjust to this suggestion if you see anything negative. always easier to add later than try to take away. I think all of that stuff looks relatively okay. Maybe a little diluted feed nex ttime(s). So, if you want a little more internodal spacing, raise light an inch or two. Too much light will impede growth and you definitely have some tight nodes. I normally wouldn't recommend this, but remove a leaf or 2. be selective. find 3-4 that face the middle and remove 1-2. don't remove all leaves from any 1 node unless buried and nothing there is part of your future harvest. that leaf looks like an isolated issue. Maybe due to congestion some moisture was there due to another leaf on it and some microbe persisted for a temporary time etc etc.. if it gets worse and spreads to another leaf, then you know that's not the case, but i'd wait and see on that regardless.

So one of my 3 GG4 auto plants grew pistils during week 3 and began its vertical stretch, while my other 2 plants still haven't flowered, and I am just now going in to week 5. They've all been getting the same treatment. is this normal? I got the seeds from seedsupreme. :/

It's not abnormal. Something likely stressed the slower ones out. It's possible that you got a couple different strains or different phenotypes in the same batch too. It's also possible that some of the seeds did not retain the auto genes and they're actually photos. Good time to defoliate the short ones btw.

So far, plants 1 and 3 STILL have not shown any pistils or signs of flower. Honestly starting to get a little worried that the website I ordered from sent me duds and that these 2 plants aren't auto flowers at all. Plant #2 has been in flower for about a week and a half by this point and has been growing pretty well. I fed it with some bloom nutes last watering. I guess the only thing left to do is ride this week 5 out and hope the other 2 plants are just late flowering autos. Day 29: SUCCESS!! Plants #1 and #3 have begun showing pistils! was beginning to get a little worried as they were 1 week and a half behind plant #2 Day 30: Defolation and LST of all 3 plants! hopefully it will be the last LST and Defoliation until we get a few weeks into flower. Hope I didn't strip the girls too bad

Finally week 6! the early flowering plant is seeming to be packing on weight nicely and the other 2 plants have begun stretching and growing more pistils. couple of late bloomers but not too worried. Only downside is having to do 2 separate harvests..

Got back from a 1 and a half week trip and these girls grew! Unforunately, no one changed the humidifier while I was gone and I think the girls were a bit under watered (RH was like 35% when I got back, who knows for how long) but it doesn't seem like any big damage was done. The plant that flowered early has gotten yellowing leaves so I'll feed it with more Nitrogen on the next feeding

This plant has been in flower for about 4-5ish weeks now. leaves are turning yellow and red with burnt tips. tested runoff pH at 6.8 today when I watered so I don't think its pH issues. been feeding a good bit of bloom nutes so ik its not P deficiency. Anything else?

Hey! This looks A LOT like Molybdenum Deficiency.. same color and spot patterns on leaves.. What throws me off though is this deficiency normally shows up with low PH levels.. and your's is at 6.8 I'm not sure. My initial suggestion would be washing the roots with PHed water, then water with nutrients that incluid Molybdenum. To be honest taking the PH down to 6.5.. would be my suggestion if this didn't look so much like Molybdenum Deficiency but with your PH you shouldn't even have this deficiency.. Hope this helped. Good luck and happy growing!

Nothing much has changed since last week. still waiting on the last 2 plants to start packing on buds and waiting for the plant that is already deep in flower to beef up and trichomes to turn cloudy. Tried watering with a ph closer to 6.5 instead of 6.8 to see if that helps fix the weird coloring going on.

I'm keeping my watering pH at around 6.5 and runoff is around 6.7 so I doubt that its pH, Also stopped feeding as many different PK boosters as I did before and just sticking to FF Tiger Bloom.

2 plants left after I harvested the first one that flowered earlier than these 2 - got 94g dry off that plant but the nugs are pretty loose. seeing some issues on the top-most leaves on plant 3, the bigger one. plant 1, the smaller one also has some nute issues but I'll stop feeding for a week or so and see if that helps. Buds seem to be fattening up tho. Also seeing some weird brown/rust spots on plant 3 at the top-most leaves on the buds, almost like they're drying from the inside out. Anyone help with that? is it Potassium Toxicity!

Can't say im too satisfied with these genetics. Inconsistent flowering times and pretty sensitive to nutrients. Bud structure on these 2 plants are completely different, with the bigger plant having a VERY loose bud structure while the shorter plant is way more dense and frosty. These girls are probably going to be coming down on Tuesday of next week (5 days).
