The pedigree on this strain gets me pretty excited. Some really awesome strains all bred into one. I am hoping for a candy pheno.
P.S. At the time of posting this, it has been 67 days since the seed was sown. She is running out of room in the small 2x4 veg tent with 2 other vegging photos (one of which has now been moved into the flower tent) and an autoflower. I had to do a lot of training and defoliation to keep her a reasonable size for her space. She will be moved into flower as soon as another is ready for harvest. Until then, I will be torturing her into a little bonzai.

As promised, better pictures this week. Going forward, I will be doing a better job tracking and documenting.
Today is 70 days after sowing.
67 days after sprouting.
I have trained this girl hard. I have done every training techniques I could to keep her from outgrowing her limited space in her corner of the 2x4 tent. Really looking forward to sending her to flower in the next week or 2 and seeing what she produces.
I have just one more diary to add and I will be caught up to the point where I can update the nutrient feeding schedules.
I hope you'll join me.
Until next update...Peace, love, and frosty nugs!

Hello growers!
Thanks for joining me for another update in my grow adventure with Orange Sherbert from Barney's Farm.
She was moved to 12/12 on 8/8/2020
Observation: She looks happy and healthy with nice green coloration. No indications of toxicity or deficiency and no indications of pests or disease. She has a ton of tops and will likely need thinning in the near future. Hoping for a nice stretch!
Method: I am holding back on defoliation until after she finishes her stretch in an effort to avoid stunting. I added some Dutch White Clover as a cover crop. Cover crops are new territory for me. Not only does it look cool, but I have read that it offers several benefits to your plants and rhizosphere. This plant had some over the clover sprouting already! I plan to defoliate rather heavily around week 3 or so of 12/12, after she's done stretching.
Thanks again for joining me. Please let me know if you have questions or concerns. Any thoughts, suggestions, or feedback is welcome and encouraged.
As always, happy growing!
Peace, love, and frosty nugs!

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our Orange Sherbert from Barney's Farm!
8/24 - Day 17 of Bloom:
I did some selective defoliation to help increase light penetration. Next watering will be a flush with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm's flush agent SledgeHammer. Everything is growing strong with this classy lady and she has an abundance of growing shoots. I may need to do some additional lollipopping, but I am being conservative and trying to spread out defoliation/lollipopping to avoid shocking her. She isn't stretching a whole. However, she is very bushy and I to think that will make up for the minimal stretching as far as yields are concerned. Leaves all look pretty healthy and are a nice shade of green.
8/28 - Day 21:
Flushed the medium with tap H2O run through 2 KDF filters with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Sledgehammer flushing agent and pH adjusted to 6.2. I started by giving 5 gallons. After checking the PPM of the runoff I ended up adding 5 more gallons mixed to same specifications. 10 gallons total was shared by 3 large flowering photoperiod cultivars and 1 smaller autoflower. She probably ended up with about 3 gallons give or take. I didn't measure how much each plant received. I just kept flushing each and checking runoff until it was under 1600 ppm.
Thanks for checking out my diary. If you liked this diary, check out my other diaries and give me a follow!

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our Orange Sherbert from Barney's Farm!
She is looking really good this week. She did start to show some deficiencies after flushing Friday 8/28. Otherwise she looks super healthy with leaves "praying" to the canna-gods!
Now, on with the deets!
LIGHTING:
Increased lighting at dimmer last week with good results. Was about 70k LUX on average @ Canopy.
Turning it up a bit more this week.

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our Orange Sherbert from Barney's Farm!
9/9 - Day 33 of 12/12: The deficiencies that were showing after flushing Friday 8/28 have slowed down their progression, but are still present. I waited a day too long to water and got she started to droop a bit.
9/10: She is no longer dropping and looks much happier. Defoliated some leaves that were showing deficiencies. I am starting to think the deficiencies may be due to lockout. I did switch to filtered tap water this run and I think the water may just be too hard. I will be picking up an RO filtration system with KDF for chlorine and chloramine. Until then, I don't plan on ming any major adjustments. Just plan on continuing to feed light and measure the runoff.
Now, on with the deets!
LIGHTING:
I had increased lighting at dimmer last week and I think this is causing some stress. It was also getting pretty hot in the tent, which could be part of reason they looked stressed. It got up to 86°F for 2 days and dimmed the lights to compensate. I will be upgrading the AC soon.
Backing the light off to about 75k lux max at the canopy.
RHIZOSPHERE:

9/16 - Day 40 of 12/12: The progression of the burn/deficiency I was noticing seems to have slowed to a near stop. Other than some browning in a few leaves, she really is looking nice. Buds are nice , dense, and frosty. She smells of citrus candy cream. Call it Orange Dreamcicle-ish.

We're back with another update on our 🍊🍧ORANGE SHERBERT cultivar bred by BARNEY'S FARM! It's week 8 and all she is looking great as she progresses deeper into senescence! She is really packing on the frost ❄️and her Orange Cream Candy 🍊🍦🍭 fragrance just keeps getting stronger!!! It wont be long before we harvest these beautiful flowers!!!
Also, I realized my BlueLab Conductivity Meter has the option to switch to EC. Since EC is the most accurate way to measure the nutrient concentration in a solution, I will now be measuring and reporting EC readings rather than PPM.
Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome.
Now, for the weekly break down!

👩💻🏼 UPGRADE 👩💻
- Upgraded from 8k BTU to 14k BTU portable AC unit!
✂️🍃 PRUNING/TRAINING 🍃✂️
- Selective light defoliation. Removal of dying leaves, leaves blocking other budsites and lower leaves preventing proper air flow. I try to stick to defoliating around 10-15% of foliage at a time and make sure to leave a "crown" 👑 of leaves at the top to absorb photons. If additional defoliation is needed, I will wait at least 3-5 days to avoid stunting growth.
🚿FEED DAY!🚿
- She received approximately 2.5 gallons of nutrient solution. I mixed 8 gallons of solution for all the plants I have in flower. 2.5 gallons of that was then measured and fed to this cultivar. After 10-15 minutes I added additional 12 oz of plain H2O pH to 6.3
👩🔬NUTRIENT SOLUTION👩🔬
⬇️Mixing Rundown⬇️
- The solution starts with 12 gal tap H2O through two kdf filters mixed in a 36 gallon reservoir. The solution is applied via wand sprayer powered by a submersible pump attached to a garden hose. This week, we will be giving very light feeds to get her progressing deeper into senescence. She looks prettier and smells stronger with each day that passes!
Observation: Ever since I upgraded the AC and have been maintaining lower temps, I notice that don't have to water nearly as often. Used to be about every 3 - 4 days, and now, its closer to 5 - 6 days. The White Dutch Clover may also play a factor here. I do mist the top of the pots with 1-2 oz every day to every other day with plain water to keep the White Dutch Clover happy.
Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome.
Now, for the weekly break down!

I had a few issues in that started plant started trying to communicate starting in week 4 of flower. I am fairly confident that it was due to a high EC causing lockout. I corrected the problem and ended up with some nice medicine despite some a few ugly fan leaves. I let her go to day 70 before giving her the chop. She was flushed about 5 days prior to chop and immediately started fading into some nice colors. I learn with every plant and I am thankful for the lessons this Orange Sherbert has taught me. I will definitely order more of these seeds in the future!
