Hello growers! Fo' Twenny's back again! This time, we are running Peyote Wifi from Seedsman. This will be the first Peyote cross I have run. I hope you'll follow along and enjoy the ride growing this awesome strain! The deets: There are 21 plants in the veg tent, right now. 17 photoperiod seedlings, 3 autoflower seedlings, and an auto in mid bloom. Started in Jiffy peat pellets with Roots Organics 707 filling the Solo style plastic cups under and around the peat pellets. The soil was top dressed with .25 tsp of each: Azos, Mycos, and Re-Charge. Let's go microbes! Update 8/14: Germination was a success. We have a happy healthy baby girl! 👶🏼 At least, she better be, because she's supposed to be feminized! Thanks for stopping in and checking out my diary!

8/17 update: Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for following me on this journey! It has been 9 days since sowing this HUGE Peyote Wifi seed. She has sprouted with some rather large cotyledons and it's first set of leaves. She appears to be one of the healthiest in the bunch, if not pick of the litter. There are no apparent indications of stress or deformities and she seems to be quite vigorous. I can't wait to see her mature! Feeding with .2 ml/gal of RapidStart and .2 ml/gal of SuperThrive, Adjusted pH to 6.5. After adjusting pH add .25 tsp of recharge. Thanks for stopping in and if you get a chance, check out a few of my other diaries and give me a follow. Happy growin', happy harvestin', and happy tokin'! Fo' Twenny here with an update on our little Peyote WIFI from Seedsman! 9/7 - She is looking healthy and didn't seem to be stressed by transplanting. So, today, I topped and defoliated. Everything is looking good! BAD NEWS: Half of the blue diodes have gone out in the TMLAPY light. This light was actually gifted to me shortly after a friend purchased it from Amazon and realized it was too small for their space. It seemed to be serving it's purpose well for vegging photos and running bumper crops of autoflowers but it failed only four months after the warranty period ended! Weak-Sauce! Welp, looks like it's time to upgrade the 24"x48" tent to Samsung LM301H boards. I ordered a 320w straight single piece heatsink with 3 boards from Geeklight. I went with the 3k spectrum and switchable UV/IR since all my autoflowers bloom under this light. RHIZOSPHERE: .25 tsp/gal Blue Planet Gold Shield Silica Supplement .25 tsp/gal Fox Farm Gringo Rasta Cal-Mag 1.5 tsp/gal BigBloom .25 tsp/gal Boomerang .125 tsp/gal Wholly Mackerel PPM: 749 pH: 6.4 1 tsp/gal Southern AG Garden Friendly Fungicide compare to Hydroguard 2 TBSP/gal Serenade Thanks for stopping by my garden! Fo' Twenny here with another update on our Peyote Wifi lady bred by Seedsman Seeds! This girl is just one of 16 strains in my photoperiod SOG with 2 additional wildcards in the mix. Want to see all the strains I have running? Check out all of my diaries and give me a follow! Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome. 9/13 - Premixed soil to prepare for upcoming transplanting. SOIL MIX DETAILS: Mixed into a 50 gallon container that will be kept in a warm environment to help innocculate to promote a vast and diverse microbial life in the rhizosphere. 2 Part - Royal Gold Tupur INGREDIENTS: Coco fiber, aged forest materials, perlite, and basalt 1 Part - Fox Farms Ocean Forest INGREDIENTS: Aged forest products, sphagnum peat moss, earthworm castings, bat guano, fish emulsion, and crab meal. 1 Part - Roots Organics INGREDIENTS: Perlite, Coco Fiber, Peat Moss, Composted Forest Material, Pumice, Worm Castings, Bat Guano, Soybean Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Fishbone Meal, Kelp Meal, and Greensand. Also contains beneficial mycorrhizal fungi: Funneliformis mosseae, Rhizophagus intraradices, Septoglomus desertícola .5 Part - Wiggle Worm Soil Builder Pure Earthworm Castings .5 Part - Ancient Forest Humus .5 Part - Coarse Grade Perlite Inocculated by mixing 1 cup of Extreme Gardening Mycos Watered with pH 6.5 h2O 1 Tsp/gal Real Grower's Recharge 1 tsp/gal Hi-Brix Molasses 2 tsp/gal Fox Farms Kangaroots 9/16 - Day 38: This cultivar is looking really good! I did notice some white blotches on a few leaves as well as several other plants in the garden. I'm not sure if it's just water spots from my helper's carelessly watering causing water spots from the Nutrient solution or the start of a PM infection. Never really dealt with PM, but decided to spray them with some serenade. I also sprinkled with a little more White Dutch Clover seed on top soil. 9/17 - Day 39: I installed the new 320w GeekLight in the 24" x 48" veg tent. GOOD NEWS: I upgraded the 24"x48" tent to Samsung LM301H boards. I ordered a 320w straight single piece heatsink with 3 boards from Geeklight. I went with the 3k spectrum and switchable UV/IR since all my autoflowers bloom under this light. $306 USD after all is said and done. It took 9 calendar days to ship from China. https://app.alibaba.com/dynamiclink?touchId=1600101815945&type=product&schema=enalibaba%3A%2F%2Fdetail%3Fid%3D1600101815945%26ck%3Dshare_detail&ck=share_detail&shareScene=buyer NUTRITION: ⬇️Mixing Rundown⬇️ Foliar Feed & Nutrient Solution 2 gal tap h2O run through x2 KDF filters Start ppm 630 Start ph 7.8 2.5 ml/gal Gold Shield Silica Supplement .5 tsp/gal Fox Farm Gringo Rasta Cal-Mag pH @ 8.1 .33 tsp/gal ph down pH: 6.5 PPM: 730 Serenade 3 tsp/gal (Always adjust pH prior to adding any microbial innocclants) Filled Spray bottle with 32 oz of the 2 gal mixed solution. •••••••••••••••••••••••••• Sept. 28 - Oct. 4 •••••••••••••••••••••••••• WEEKLY SUMMARY: •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 🙋‍♀️Fo' Twenny here!🙋‍♀️ I want to welcome you all back to another update on our Peyote Wifi from Seedsman Seeds! If you're just joining us, we have had this mostly Indica photo-dependant cultivar vegging SOG style in our 48"x 24" VIVOSUN tent with 20 other plants for several weeks now. She has been one of the faster growing cultivars in the tent despite a lot of heavy defoliation and pruning the past few weeks. I have created a nice foundation to send into flower and got the bloom tent ready with a few upgrades. So, I moved her and a few of her other tent-mates into the 8'x4' bloom tent running on a 12/12 lighting schedule. Also, I realized my BlueLab Conductivity Meter has the option to switch to EC. Since EC is the most accurate way to measure the nutrient concentration in a solution, I will now be measuring and reporting EC readings rather than PPM. Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome. Now, for the weekly break down! •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• THIS WEEK'S BREAK DOWN •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 9/30 - Day 52 °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° 📸 PHOTOSHOOT! 📸 •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 10/1 - Day 53/Day 1 of Bloom °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° 🌱 TRASPLANT DAY - I transplanted this cultivar into a 3.4 gallon black 12" tall Active Aqua brand 12" x 12" square pot and inserted a 3' fiberglass garden stake into the center of the rootball near the main stem of the plant. The stake goes to the bottom of the 12" pot. She has a nice solid root ball due to being slightly rootbound. Following transplant, i lightly watered with filtered tap water with pH adjusted to 6.4. 🌼 START OF 12/12 CYCLE 🌼 - I moved her into the 96" x 48" bloom tent under 12/12 lighting schedule. 📸 PHOTOSHOOT! 📸 👩‍💻 UPGRADE! 👩‍💻 - In the 96" x 48" bloom tent, I added a BOTANICARE 48" x 48" low-tide flood tray on top of six 4" tall cinder-blocks with a low-profile motorcycle oil-pan for the water to drain into beneath the flood tray. 🚿FEED DAY!🚿 She received approximately 1 gallon of nutrient solution. I mixed 12 gallons of solution for all the plants I have running in this SOG.1 gallon of that was then measured and fed to this cultivar. 👩‍🔬NUTRIENT SOLUTION👩‍🔬 ⬇️Mixing Rundown⬇️ The solution starts with 12 gallon tap H2O through two kdf filters mixed in a 36 gallon reservoir. The solution is applied via wand sprayer powered by a submersible pump attached to a garden hose. If you're just joining us, last week we transplanted this mostly Indica photo-dependant cultivar and moved her form our 48"x 24" VIVOSUN veg-tent into our 96" x 48" VIVOSUN bloom-tent. All things considered, "she" is growing splendidly! A bit of a surprise in store for ya'll. If you want to skip to it, just check out 10/13 in this weeks breakdown. Observation: Ever since I upgraded the AC and have been maintaining lower temps, I notice that dont have to water nearly as often. Used to be about every 3 - 4 days, and now, its closer to 5 - 6 days. The White Dutch Clover may also play a factor here. I do mist the top of the pots with 1-2 oz every day to every other day with plain water to keep the White Dutch Clover happy. Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome. I hate to speculate what happened here, but someone obviously made a mistake. I do have a few regular packs I purchased for future breeding, but this cultivar was planted solely to produce medicine. Thats why I paid more to get feminized beans. That said, @Seedsman has always ben good to me in the past. I love that they send breeder packs to the States, and they just recently sent out some free testers to me (just waiting on shipping now). So, I shouldnt be too upset, but I really do hate wasting time and resources on a plant that wont produce medicine. I was tempted to give a zero because this male was supposed to be a feminized seeds, but I thought Seedsman deserves better than that. Things happen, but I am still a bit salty.

Was happy and healthy all run. I was super disappointed it was a male from a feminized pack of seeds.

Bummer! The last few seeds my brother has popped from seedsman that were "autos" are clearly photos. Wondering what is going on over there.

Can't wait to see how much of a beast this will be. Using it to guage when I should start to grow mine.

@GeOMaTTiC, She has been a strong cultivar compared to most of her tent mates. I look forward to seeing how she progresses!

Fantastic update 😀 The plant is looking really good after topping and LST. You're going to have a spacious canopy when things grow in.
FoTwenny
FoTwennycommented4 years ago
@Treighfunky, I had planned on only allowing 4 main shoots to grow and fill a 12" x 12" space, but the other 2 looked strong and I think 6 shoots may still allow for enough light penetration and air flow. We will see, but I can always do some additional pruning later if needed.

Switch to regular seeds? You’re talented enough to run a pheno selection and once you find a good mom to clone off you won’t have to worry about any headaches from fem seeds. Reg seeds = more stable genetics Fem seeds = maybe a success, maybe a shitshow Good luck
HighAltitudeOrganics
HighAltitudeOrganicscommented4 years ago
@FoTwenny, no, and that’s not really what I was getting at. It’s perfectly fine to clone a stable cultivar from fem seeds...if it’s stable. Personally it takes a few years and runs for me to lay that distinction on anything I’ve cloned from fem seeds. With reg seeds, on the other hand, yes one may spend more time upfront popping 20-40 seeds, vegging, sexing, pulling males, then flowering out the females. But rest assured that once you’ve selected a pheno that fits your needs, from reg seeds, you can clone the fuck out of it for years (cycling moms appropriately), and that one day it won’t suddenly show a herm tendency because of the bastardized process of creating fem seeds in the first place. Plus, save a few hundred $$ easily not continually purchasing seeds every cycle. Just my 2cents, to each their own. Cheers and enjoy da 🦃

@HighAltitudeOrganics, You think fem seeds not worth cloning! I have a couple nice phenos I was thinking if revegging and taking cuttings from.

I just had the same with my Somango.. The lady was not the lady i thought! Reminded me of a bad episode when we went on holiday to thailand and my bestmate thought he had a hot date....anyway..😂 2 of my royal haze were pollinated and al in all it was a very annoying experience. I feel your pain.
