Fo' Twenny here with another update on my Sugar Tits bred by Ultra Genetics! I am trying to get more precise and add more detail to my diaries. Let me know your thoughts! Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome. Now on to the details! __________________________________ 9/20 - Day 42 (Technically the last day of week 6): Feed! 🚿 She has 6 main tops and thanks to a little LST they're all pretty even in height. I defoliate earlier/heavier on taller tops to help the shorties to catch up. 👩‍🔬NUTRIENT SOLUTION👩‍🔬 ⬇️Mixing Rundown⬇️ 12 oz tap H2O run through x2 KDF filters Start pH: 7.9 Start PPM: 630 3 ml/gal - Blue Planet Gold Shield Silica Supplement .5 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Gringo Rasta Cal-Mag 3 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Big Bloom 1.5 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Grow BIG .5 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Boomerang .25 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Wholly Mackerel .25 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Kelp Me Kelp You .125 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Open Sesame pH: 6.3 PPM: 1350 I always make sure pH is in the range of 6.0- 6.6 prior to adding any microbial innocclants. pH already in range, no adjustments needed. 1 tsp/gal - Grower's Choice Recharge .6 ml/gal - Mammoth P. .5 tsp/gal - Kangaroots pH 6.4 PPM: 1420 __________________________________ 9/22 - Day 44: Photoshoot! 📸 ________________________________ 9/23 - Day 45: Feed! 🚿 She is only about 6" tall thanks to sone topping and training. She is one of the fastest growing cultivars in the SOG! Her color looks great and she's growing fast. She has a nice solid foundation. Structurally, you can see some of her Sativa genetics in her stretchier internodal growth; but still, fairly tight for a Sativa dominant strain. 👩‍🔬NUTRIENT SOLUTION👩‍🔬 ⬇️Mixing Rundown⬇️ 12 oz tap H2O run through x2 KDF filters Start pH: 7.8 Start PPM: 640 1 tsp/gal - Blue Planet Gold Shield Silica Supplement 8 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Big Bloom 1 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Grow BIG pH: 7.2 PPM: 1050 Adjust pH to 6.3 .6ml/gal - Grower's Choice Recharge 1tsp/gal - Extreme Gardening's Azos PPM: 1480 ________________________________ 9/27 - Day 49: Feed Day! 🚿 BlueLab pH Pen and BlueLab Conductivity Pen calibration completed. I will be doing a photoshoot 📸 with the ladies within the next say or so. They have grown quite a bit, already! 👩‍🔬NUTRIENT SOLUTION👩‍🔬 ⬇️Mixing Rundown⬇️ 12 oz tap H2O run through x2 KDF filters Start pH: 7.9 Start PPM: 630 3 ml/gal - Blue Planet Gold Shield Silica Supplement .5 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Gringo Rasta Cal-Mag 3 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Big Bloom 1.5 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Grow BIG .5 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Boomerang .25 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Wholly Mackerel .25 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Kelp Me Kelp You .125 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Open Sesame pH: 6.2 PPM: 1510 I always make sure pH is in the range of 6.0- 6.6 prior to adding any microbial innocclants. pH already in range, no adjustments needed. 1 tsp/gal - Grower's Choice Recharge .6 ml/gal - Mammoth P. .5 tsp/gal - Fox Farm Kangaroots pH: 6.3 PPM: 1610 ________________________________ Want to see all the strains I have running? Please check out my other diaries & give me a follow! Happy growing my friends! ☺️🌱 Thank you for stopping by my garden! Peace, ☮️✌️ Love, 💚🤟 & Frosty Nugs! ❄️🌲 - Fo' Twenny

@FoTwenny, Its not to much, its a lot for people like me, who have just a simpel ph meter. But its intresting to read and see how what nutrients cause of reaction in the water. The info about all the things you use is nice and good for those who want to buy or are into DIY electronics. That grow tent looks massive 2. The microgreens in the pots are awesome!!! 🙏🍀🍀🍀🙏

Another super detailed diary entry. Thanks @FoTwenny. And that is such a good name for a strain😹.
FoTwenny
FoTwennycommented4 years ago
@Theia, Thank you! 🙏 I never heard of this train, but she does have an enticing name and her lineage sounds promising. Sugar Tits is a cross between Sour Grape Kush and the Cup winning Animal Cookies strain. I am hoping for something special with her!

Always fun when you have a great strain with a funny name 😉 Friends always give you that look the first time they hear it. Have fun with that one 😂 The plant herself looks awesome so far FT. Keep it up.

@Treighfunky, Hopefully she lives up to the name! Big frosty buds are what I am looking for!

Your plants always look so pretty😍 and happy😀, how long did it take for you to get that massive nutrient schedule down and how did you figure out the doses?
NSCanna
NSCannacommented4 years ago
@FoTwenny, Very cool, and not as complicated as I thought👍. I'm on my second grow ever, and going all organic. Need to make adjustments though since I'm seeing a lot of dark green nitrogen heavy leaves in a few of my plants; think I have a redundant nitrogen source I'm going to stop using.
FoTwenny
FoTwennycommented4 years ago
@NSCanna, Thanks for the kind words! Well, I just took the manufacturer nutrient schedule and put it into an excel spreadsheet and put down , full, half, and quarter strength instructions. With a little trial and error, I found feeding once per week at half strength seemed to be the sweet spot. I added a few extras to make everything balanced and complete. That said, I just installed a new RO system and will probably end up making more adjustments. Coming soon, I will be taking cuttings and running this line side by side with a super Coco mix to see what kind of results we get. I am hoping the super soil will be as good or better and will save money and a lot of time mixing.

7 weeks into flower and your Tits look great! (Grin) do you use your cell phone to take the pictures, your plants look spot on!
MrJones
MrJonescommented4 years ago
@FoTwenny, I use my phone as well, but your pictures always look great is why I asked like you used a camera, you have the touch!
FoTwenny
FoTwennycommented4 years ago
@MrJones, Yes, just use my cell phone. Eventually I will invest in a camera with some nice lenses. The lights make my phone's color correction freak out and I usually try to edit them to get them to look right, but I just haven't had time. I am looking forward to having some time off work for the holidays!
