๐โโ๏ธโ Fo' Twenny here! ๐โโ๏ธโ
Back with another update on our mostly Sativa cultivar ๐ฌ๐ญ๐คฑ SUGAR TITS bred by ULTRA GENETICS! She looks like she will produce some nice size buds and she smells great. She is not a super stretchy Sativa strain with some denser growing nugs. I am looking forward to watching her develop!
Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome.
Now, for my weekly notes!
AROMA: She smells great. Like sweet fruity dank. Slightly pineapple-ish.
โ๏ธ BUD STRUCTURE: Thick clusters of calyxes. Growing densely for a Sativa. I doubt these buds will be light or airy.
๐จ COLOR: She is a nice dark shade of green with a slight bluish/purple hue. Her calyxes are the same color green with quite a bit of purple filling in many of the bud-sites. Her pistils are short and thick with a slight yellow tinge. In my experience, it seems like the yellow tinged pistils is common in cultivars with Blueberry in their genetics.
๐ฟ STEM, STRETCH, & INTERNODES: She did not stretch as much as some if the other Sativa dominant strains I have running with her. She has thick stems with relatively tight internodal spacing from top to bottom.
โ๏ธ TRAINING/PRUNING: No changes in my pruning strategy. I have continued selective defoliation as needed to avoid crowding herself and her neighbors. I remove no more than 25% of foliage at any one time, and usually closer 10-15%. I space out defoliation with a minimum of 3 days between sessions, in most instances. There will be exceptions to that, but it is a good rule of thumb that I try to adhere to. She has been trained to have 6 main shoots and I am using LST techniques to gently bend her stems to evenly fill her space without overcrowding.
โ๏ธTRICHOMES/RESIN PRODUCTION: She is getting frosty, nothing crazy but respectable.
๐ฟ WATER/FEED: I have continued with a light bi-diurnal misting of White Dutch Clover cover crop. I typically give the whole SOG one feed per week with light watering of select individual cultivars as needed between feeds. I try my best to "read" my garden. The amount of water between feeds depends on how soon the next feed will be. I feed the garden as a whole and try to spot-treat outliers as needed. This run, I have been generally spacing feeds out about 4-6 days when the first plant shows beginning signs of wilt (slight drooping of lower fan leaves).
๐ OBSERVATION/NOTES: She does not appear to have any signs of deficiency or toxicity. No indications of stress, disease, or pests. She has a nice โdouble budโ that she made herself. This is not a result of topping.

The cultivar received approximately 1 gallon of solution. I mixed 17 gallons of solution for 17 plants. The solution is applied via wand sprayer powered by a submersible pump attached to a garden hose. Nutrients and additives are added to the reservoir in the order listed below and thoroughly mixed using a large plastic stir spoon. The reservoir is oxygenated by four 4-inch air stones.

@FoTwenny,
Its not to much, its a lot for people like me, who have just a simpel ph meter.
But its intresting to read and see how what nutrients cause of reaction in the water.
The info about all the things you use is nice and good for those who want to buy or are into DIY electronics.
That grow tent looks massive 2.
The microgreens in the pots are awesome!!!
๐๐๐๐๐
@Theia, Thank you! ๐ I never heard of this train, but she does have an enticing name and her lineage sounds promising. Sugar Tits is a cross between Sour Grape Kush and the Cup winning Animal Cookies strain. I am hoping for something special with her!
Always fun when you have a great strain with a funny name ๐
Friends always give you that look the first time they hear it. Have fun with that one ๐
The plant herself looks awesome so far FT. Keep it up.
Your plants always look so pretty๐ and happy๐, how long did it take for you to get that massive nutrient schedule down and how did you figure out the doses?
@FoTwenny, Very cool, and not as complicated as I thought๐. I'm on my second grow ever, and going all organic. Need to make adjustments though since I'm seeing a lot of dark green nitrogen heavy leaves in a few of my plants; think I have a redundant nitrogen source I'm going to stop using.
@NSCanna, Thanks for the kind words! Well, I just took the manufacturer nutrient schedule and put it into an excel spreadsheet and put down , full, half, and quarter strength instructions. With a little trial and error, I found feeding once per week at half strength seemed to be the sweet spot. I added a few extras to make everything balanced and complete. That said, I just installed a new RO system and will probably end up making more adjustments. Coming soon, I will be taking cuttings and running this line side by side with a super Coco mix to see what kind of results we get. I am hoping the super soil will be as good or better and will save money and a lot of time mixing.
@MrJones, Yes, just use my cell phone. Eventually I will invest in a camera with some nice lenses. The lights make my phone's color correction freak out and I usually try to edit them to get them to look right, but I just haven't had time. I am looking forward to having some time off work for the holidays!
@FoTwenny, I could not sleep last night and decided to check out some diaries I was behind on, I always love looking at yours, damn I am following over 300 that is way to busy!
I still can't get over the name of some of these strains ๐
That aside, This plant looks super healthy and is responding well to training. Great work :)
@DeadwebsiteBoringcommunity, Oh, I noticed, but now I know what it's called thanks to you! I appreciate you stopping by my friend! Happy holidays to you and a happy new year!

@Buddha2, Yes, I agree. I am pretty sure the name alone is whynviewers selected this strain to be grown. That said, I am really happy with it and she looks very nice
