๐โโ๏ธFo' Twenny here!๐โโ๏ธ
Back with another update on our photo-dependant Indica/Sativa hybrid (unspecified ratio) cultivar, ๐ณ๐๐ฅคSOUR LEMONAID cultivar bred by DANK GENETICS! I am trying a new format for the weekly summary portion of my diary. Let me know what ya'll think!
๐ AROMA: She smells faintly of citrus and herb but not very pungent at this point. It's still early in flower, so her terpenes are not very noticeable yet. I am excited to experience the evolution of her terpene profile as she progresses through flower. One of my favorite aspects of growing cannabis is how much these plants change from start to finish and how much variation is possible with this plant.
โ๏ธ BUD STRUCTURE: Her buds are just starting to form. She has bright white pistils shooting out from small clusters of calyxes. It's still very early, and anything can happen. As always, I am going to stay optimistic about this girl. Sometimes the little ones pack the biggest punch!
๐จ Color: She is a nice healthy bright shade of green with green calyxes.
๐ฟ STEM, STRETCH, & INTERNODES: She is starting to stretch quite a bit. She's got nice thick stems and internodes are a bit on the longer side.
โ๏ธ TRAINING/PRUNING: I have continued selective defoliation as needed to avoid crowding herself and her neighbors. I remove no more than 25% of foliage at any one time, and usually closer 10-15%. I space out defoliation with a minimum of 3 days between sessions, in most instances. There will be exceptions to that, but it's a good rule of thumb I try to adhere to. She has been trained to have 6 main shoots and I am using LST techniques to gently bend her stems to evenly fill her space without overcrowding.
โ๏ธTRICHOMES/RESIN PRODUCTION: Resin glands are starting to develop all over her buds. She is just getting started, so we will keep an eye on her to see how she develops.
๐ฟ WATER/FEED: I have continued with a light bidiurnal misting of White Dutch Clover cover crop . This, in conjunction with running lower temps (New AC), has seemed to have drastically increased feeding intervals. My plants are needing much less water than in previous runs. I typically give the whole SOG one feed per week with light watering of select individual cultivars as needed between feeds. I try my best to "read" my garden. The amount of water between feeds depends on how soon the next feed will be. I feed the garden as a whole and this run I have been generally spacing feeds out about 4-6 days when the the first plant shows beginning signs of wilt (slight droop of lower fan leaves).
๐ OBSERVATION/NOTES: She doesnt appear to have any signs of stress, deficiency, or toxicity. She looks very happy and healthy!
Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome.
Now, for the weekly break down!

The cultivar received approximately 1 gallon of solution. I mixed 17 gallons of solution for 17 plants. The solution is applied via wand sprayer powered by a submersible pump attached to a garden hose. Nutrients and additives are added to the reservoir in the order listed below and thoroughly mixed using a large plastic stir spoon. The reservoir is oxygenated by four 4 inch air stones.

Another beauty. All of the plants in this grow look fantastic. You are quickly advancing those skilly skills FT.
It's awesome to watch your progress week after week.
@Treighfunky, Thank you for the kind words, my friend! This plant in particular just... feels like she's gonna be something special. I'm looking forward to seeing her bloom! Thanks for stopping in! Happy growing!
Looking good so far. It's funny, sometimes it's the ones that start slow or with unique features that end up blowing up into monsters ๐
I'm hoping that's what happens here.
@FoTwenny, same here. Been a few months. Things higher up the food chain calls to us all. I'll be waiting to see the upcoming. Always beauties coming out your garden. Have a great one twenny๐๐ค๐๐จ๐จ
@Thomas, Yes, it has been a while since I have logged anything on here. I am just knocking out higher priorities on my "To do list", but I will have everything out of the way soon and will be back at it again! Thanks for stopping by! โ๏ธโค๏ธโบ๏ธ๐จ
