Hello growers! I haven't been able to find much on this strain and I have never run anything from BC Bud Depot in the past. They don't even have this strain on the Grow Diaries list for this breeder. Hopefully it's legit! I am really looking forward to this one because she has a great pedigree and looks beautiful in breeder photos. I hope she lives up to what I am imagining! The deets: Packaging: Was a pain to open, but seems secure enough. The packaging could definitely be more visually appealing. There are 21 plants in the veg tent, right now. 17 photoperiod seedlings, 3 autoflower seedlings, and an auto in mid bloom. Started in Jiffy peat pellets with Roots Organics 707 filling the Solo style plastic cups under and around the peat pellets. The soil was top dressed with .25 tsp of each: Azos, Mycos, and Re-Charge. Let's go microbes! Update 8/13: Germination was a success. We have a happy healthy baby girl! 👶🏼 At least, she better be, because she's supposed to be feminized! Thanks for stopping in and checking out my diary!

8/17 update: Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for following me on this journey! It has been 9 days since sowing this Wildberry seed. She did sprout some "stubby" looking deformed serrated leaves. Otherwise, she looks healthy growing well. Feeding with .2 ml/gal of RapidStart and .2 ml/gal of SuperThrive, Adjusted pH to 6.5. After adjusting pH add .25 tsp of recharge. Thanks for stopping in and if you get a chance, check out a few of my other diaries and give me a follow. Happy growin', happy harvestin', and happy tokin'! 8/26 update: Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for joining me and my baby Wildberry, bred by BC Bud Depot. It has been 18 days since she was sown and she is growing very quickly! She has nice thick wide leaves. The foliage got a little oversaturated during waterings and stained from the recharge. Regardless, she is still happy, healthy, and growing quickly! Feeding with .5ml/gal of Blue planet Gold Shield Potassium Silicate, .5 ml/gal of RapidStart and .5 ml/gal of SuperThrive, Adjusted pH to 6.2. After adjusting pH I added 1 tsp of recharge. Thanks for stopping in and if you get a chance, check out a few of my other diaries and give me a follow. Happy growin', happy harvestin', and happy tokin'! Fo' Twenny here with an update on our Wild Berry baby bred by BC Bud Depot! To see all of the plants in this run, check out my diary titled 'You choose the strains!" 9/5 - Day 27: She's growing fast, she looks nice and strong. One of the most vigorous in the garden! Today, I transplanted from the 16 oz solo cup into an 8" tall one gallon Active Aqua 6" x 6" Square Pot. I innocculate at the root zone using .5 tsp Mycos from Extreme Gardening .5 tsp Recharge. I sprinkled some White Dutch Clover seed around the top of the pot for a cover crop. Please check out my other diaries & give me a follow! Fo' Twenny here with an update on Wild Berry bred by BC Bud Depot! Want to see all of the plants in this run? Check out my diary titled 'You choose the strains!" 9/7 - Day 29: She is looking healthy and didn't seem to be stressed by transplanting. So, today, I topped just above the fourth node and defoliated. I am leaving a "nub" at the top to avoid stem splitting later in her development. Everything is looking great! BAD NEWS: Half of the blue diodes have gone out in the TMLAPY light. This light was actually gifted to me shortly after a friend purchased it from Amazon and realized it was too small for their space. It seemed to be serving it's purpose well for vegging photos and running bumper crops of autoflowers but it failed only four months after the warranty period ended! Weak-Sauce! Welp, looks like it's time to upgrade the 24"x48" tent to Samsung LM301H boards. I ordered a 320w straight single piece heatsink with 3 boards from Geeklight. I went with the 3k spectrum and switchable UV/IR since all my autoflowers bloom under this light. Fo' Twenny here with another update on our Wildberry cultivar bred by BC Bud Depot! Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome. Now on to the details! 9/13 - Premixed soil to prepare for upcoming transplanting. SOIL MIX DETAILS: Mixed into a 50 gallon container that will be kept in a warm environment to help innocculate to promote a vast and diverse microbial life in the rhizosphere. 2 Part - Royal Gold Tupur INGREDIENTS: Coco fiber, aged forest materials, perlite, and basalt 1 Part - Fox Farms Ocean Forest INGREDIENTS: Aged forest products, sphagnum peat moss, earthworm castings, bat guano, fish emulsion, and crab meal. 1 Part - Roots Organics INGREDIENTS: Perlite, Coco Fiber, Peat Moss, Composted Forest Material, Pumice, Worm Castings, Bat Guano, Soybean Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Fishbone Meal, Kelp Meal, and Greensand. Also contains beneficial mycorrhizal fungi: Funneliformis mosseae, Rhizophagus intraradices, Septoglomus desertícola .5 Part - Wiggle Worm Soil Builder Pure Earthworm Castings .5 Part - Ancient Forest Humus .5 Part - Coarse Grade Perlite Inocculated by mixing 1 cup of Extreme Gardening Mycos Watered with pH 6.5 h2O 1 Tsp/gal Real Grower's Recharge 1 tsp/gal Hi-Brix Molasses 2 tsp/gal Fox Farms Kangaroots 9/16 - Day 38: This cultivar is looking really good! I did notice some white blotches on a few leaves as well as several other plants in the garden. I'm not sure if it's just water spots from my helper's carelessly watering causing water spots from the Nutrient solution or the start of a PM infection. Never really dealt with PM, but decided to spray them with some serenade. I also sprinkled with a little more White Dutch Clover seed on top soil. 9/17 - Day 39: I installed the new 320w GeekLight in the 24" x 48" veg tent. GOOD NEWS: I upgraded the 24"x48" tent to Samsung LM301H boards. I ordered a 320w straight single piece heatsink with 3 boards from Geeklight. I went with the 3k spectrum and switchable UV/IR since all my autoflowers bloom under this light. $306 USD after all is said and done. •••••••••••••••••••••••••• Sept. 28 - Oct. 4 •••••••••••••••••••••••••• WEEKLY SUMMARY: •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 🙋‍♀️Fo' Twenny here!🙋‍♀️ I want to welcome you all back to another update on our 🤪🍓 WILDBERRY cultivar bred by BC BUD DEPOT! If you're just joining us, we have had this mostly Indica photo-dependant cultivar vegging SOG style in our 48"x 24" VIVOSUN tent with 20 other plants for several weeks now. She has been one of the fastest growing cultivars in the tent despite a lot of heavy defoliation and pruning the past few weeks. I have created a nice foundation with four main shoots and we're sending her into flower. I made a few upgrades in the 8'x4' bloom tent and moved her and a few of her other tent-mates in to start flowering under a 12/12 lighting schedule. Also, I realized my BlueLab Conductivity Meter has the option to switch to EC. Since EC is the most accurate way to measure the nutrient concentration in a solution, I will now be measuring and reporting EC readings rather than PPM. Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome. Now, for the weekly break down! •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• THIS WEEK'S BREAK DOWN •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 9/30 - Day 52 °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° 📸 PHOTOSHOOT! 📸 10/1 - Day 53/Day 1 of Bloom °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° 🌱 TRASPLANT DAY 🌱 - I transplanted this cultivar into a 3.4 gallon black 12" tall Active Aqua brand 12" x 12" square pot and inserted a 3' fiberglass garden stake into the center of the rootball near the main stem of the plant. The stake goes to the bottom of the 12" pot. She has a nice solid root ball due to being slightly rootbound. Following transplant, I lightly watered with filtered tap water with pH adjusted to 6.4. 🌼 START OF 12/12 CYCLE 🌼 - I moved her into the 96" x 48" bloom tent under 12/12 lighting schedule. 📸PHOTOSHOOT!📸 👩‍💻UPGRADE!👩‍💻 - In the 96" x 48" bloom tent, I added a BOTANICARE 48" x 48" low-tide flood tray on top of six 4" tall cinder-blocks with a low-profile motorcycle oil-pan for the water to drain into beneath the flood tray. 🚿FEED DAY!🚿 She received approximately 1 gallon of nutrient solution. I mixed 12 gallons of solution for all the plants I have running in this SOG.1 gallon of that was then measured and fed to this cultivar. 👩‍🔬NUTRIENT SOLUTION👩‍🔬 ⬇️Mixing Rundown⬇️ The solution starts with 12 gal tap H2O through two kdf filters mixed in a 36 gallon reservoir. The solution is applied via wand sprayer powered by a submersible pump attached to a garden hose. If you're just joining us, last week we transplanted this photo-dependant lady and moved her from our 48"x 24" VIVOSUN veg-tent into our 96" x 48" VIVOSUN bloom-tent. This is kbe of our taller plants and she is just beautiful! She's healthy, green, and doing quite well post-translant! For now, I am keeping defoliation to a minimum for the whole garden. Once she stops stretching, I will do a bit more pruning. This will likely be after week 3 or so of 12/12. Observation: Ever since I upgraded the AC and have been maintaining lower temps, I notice that dont have to water nearly as often. Used to be about every 3 - 4 days, and now, its closer to 5 - 6 days. The White Dutch Clover may also play a factor here. I do mist the top of the pots with 1-2 oz every day to every other day with plain water to keep the White Dutch Clover happy. Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome. •••••••••••••••••••••••••• Oct. 10 - Oct. 16 •••••••••••••••••••••••••• 🌱🚿 SOWED - 8/9 🕛🌼 STARTED 12/12 CYCLE - 10/1 •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• WEEKLY SUMMARY: •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 🙋‍♀️Fo' Twenny here!🙋‍♀️ Back with another update on our mostly Indica 🤪🍓 WILDBERRY cultivar bred by BC BUD DEPOT! She's been growing very fast and seems to really be thriving in her environment! She has nice thick stems with a fairy tight internodal spacing. She is setting a very nice foundation for some beautiful colas. She has needed some defoliation and lollipopping due to her bushy growth. She has nice dark leaves and I can already imagine them turning purple. We will see if my vision comes to fruition, but I am thinking she is going to be absolutely gorgrous! STRATEGY: To keep our WILDBERRY cultivar and her White Dutch Clover hydrated between feeds, every other day or so (as needed), she gets about 4 - 6 oz of plain filtered water pH adjusted between 6.2 and 6.6. This is sprayed evenly around the top of the medium using a 32 oz ZEP Professional sprayer. This has allowed me to minimize feeds to about one a week eliminating the need to mix my reservoir twice a week. Since she is mid stretch, I am keeping defoliation to a minimum, no more than 5-10% of the plants foliage in a week. I am only removing lower shoots that will only end up yielding larf as well as mature fan leaves (my definition of mature fan leaves: petioles of 1.5-2" and typically below the top three nodes of a growth shoot) that are facing inward towards the main stem. Next week will be focused more on those fan leaves that are excessively shading neighboring plants along with the lower leaves on any shoots left on the plant. Typically, the first 2-3 nodes of smaller growth shoots yield much smaller nugs. That said, on any remaining smaller growth shoots, I plan to remove those lower leaves and bud-sites early. This will also help with airflow and light penetration. I will not trim more than 25% of leaves per week. I actually stay closer to 15-20% per week or less while in flower, depending on the cultivar. I'm practicing some very light LST techniques. GENTLY bending stems to encourage even well-balanced growth intended to open the plants' center up for even light penetration and airflow. The goal is to evenly balance her growth within her 1'x1' footprint and avoid crowding herself or others. Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome. I am trying a new format for the weekly summary portion of my diary. Let me know what ya'll think! 👃 AROMA: She smells like sweet mixture of blackberry and raspberry jam with whole heap of gas. She is already highly aromatic at this point, and I am excited to experience the evolution of her terpene profile as she progresses through flower. One of my favorite aspects of growing cannabis is how much these plants change from start to finish and how much variation is possible with this plant. ❇️ BUD STRUCTURE: She is building long colas with thick bud clusters. Her pistils are short and thick with a slight yellow tinge. 🎨 Color: She is a nice dark shade of green with a slight bluish/purple hue. Her calyxes are the same color green with quite a bit of purple filling in many of the bud-sites. 🌿 STEM, STRETCH, & INTERNODES: She stretched considerably for an Indica dominant strain. She is currently one of the taller cultivars in the garden. She has thick stems with fairly tight internodal spacing from top to bottom. ✂️ TRAINING/PRUNING: I have continued selective defoliation as needed to avoid crowding herself and her neighbors. I remove no more than 25% of foliage at any one time, and usually closer 10-15%. I space out defoliation with a minimum of 3 days between sessions, in most instances. There will be exceptions to that, but it's a good rule of thumb I try to adhere to. She has been trained to have 4 main shoots and I am using LST techniques to gently bend her stems to evenly fill her space without overcrowding. ❄️TRICHOMES/RESIN PRODUCTION: Her buds are already starting to sparkle and glisten. She is covered in large thick resin glands with fat heads. Many of the resin glands appear to be coming in a beautiful purpke color. It's still early and I hope she continues to pack in the frost! 🚿 WATER/FEED: I have continued with a light bidiurnal misting of White Dutch Clover cover crop . This, in conjunction with running lower temps (New AC), has seemed to have drastically increased feeding intervals. My plants are needing much less water than in previous runs. I typically give the whole SOG one feed per week with light watering of select individual cultivars as needed between feeds. I try my best to "read" my garden. The amount of water between feeds depends on how soon the next feed will be. I feed the garden as a whole and this run I have been generally spacing feeds out about 4-6 days when the the first plant shows beginning signs of wilt (slight droop of lower fan leaves). 📝 OBSERVATION/NOTES: She doesnt appear to have any signs of deficiency or toxicity. No indications of stress, disease, or pests. She has Blueberry in her genetics and it is interesting to see some of the similarities and differences between the two. Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome. •••••••••••••••••••••••••• Oct. 31 - Nov. 6 •••••••••••••••••••••••••• 👩‍🌾 SOWED: Aug. 9th 🕛 12/12 START: Oct.1st 🗓️ WEEK 6 of FLOWERING 🌼 FLOWER TIME: 56 Days 🏁 ESTIMATED FINISH: Nov. 26th •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• WEEKLY SUMMARY: •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 🙋‍♀️‍ Fo' Twenny here! 🙋‍♀️‍ Back with another update on our mostly Indica 🤪🍓 WILDBERRY cultivar bred by BC BUD DEPOT! She looks and smells great. A bit stretchy for an indica but her nodes are still relatively compact. She is an absolute beauty with purple and pink calyxes that are covered in frost. 👃 AROMA: Her smell is intoxicating. The aroma is reminiscent of sweet blackberry or raspberry jam doused in gasoline. It is going to be dank for sure! ❇️ BUD STRUCTURE: She is continuing to fill in with clusters of calyxes stacking up. 🎨 COLOR: She is a nice dark shade of green with a slight bluish/purple hue. Her calyxes are the same color green with quite a bit of purple filling in many of the bud-sites. Her pistils are short and thick with a slight yellow tinge. In my experience, it seems like the yellow tinged pistils is common in cultivars with Blueberry in their genetics. 🌿 STEM, STRETCH, & INTERNODES: She stretched considerably for an Indica dominant strain. She is currently one of the taller cultivars in the garden. She has thick stems and tight internodal spacing from top to bottom. ✂️ TRAINING/PRUNING: No changes in my pruning strategy. I have continued selective defoliation as needed to avoid crowding herself and her neighbors. I remove no more than 25% of foliage at any one time, and usually closer 10-15%. I space out defoliation with a minimum of 3 days between sessions, in most instances. There will be exceptions to that, but it is a good rule of thumb that I try to adhere to. She has been trained to have 4 main shoots and I am using LST techniques to gently bend her stems to evenly fill her space without overcrowding. ❄️TRICHOMES/RESIN PRODUCTION: She is super frosty! Very nice resin production! 🚿 WATER/FEED: I have continued with a light bi-diurnal misting of White Dutch Clover cover crop. I typically give the whole SOG one feed per week with light watering of select individual cultivars as needed between feeds. I try my best to "read" my garden.
