9/23 - Day 45: Feed! ๐ฟ She is about 5.25" tall now and she is one of the faster growing cultivars in the SOG! Her color looks great and she's growing fast, but has some deformed leaves. I cannot say for sure if the cause is due to a conditional deformity, disease, or genetic mutation. Regardless, she has a nice solid foundation and her structure is nice but seems a little stretchy based off of internodal spacing.

I really like all the small greenery around the pots, is there any purpose or is it an aesthetic thing? Does it come from organic soil or something? Sorry if you answered, I looked back through your diary but honestly most of it is well over my head ๐ whatever its there for, it looks real nice!
@scotch_egg, Thanks for stopping by! White Dutch Clover makes for a good cover crop because it offers several benefits. It releases atmospheric nitrogen into the root zone for the plants to use, their roots help aerate the soil, and it creates a barrier between the air and soil that helps minimize weeds and some types of pests that breed in the top layer of soil. I find I water less having the coper crop too. That said, I do like it for aesthetics as well
