I have decided to start this diary now.
This single banana was destined for an "ornamental plant", as a child it was attacked by the larvae and remained far behind ... instead mother nature decided to give them a wonderful life anyway,
and now I have the possibility to put it to bloom and I decided to pour it into a generous 20 liters and put it alone in the 80x80 BOX.
🍌In box right now I have a small banana (photo #4-5) that is at a good flowering point, after smelling its scent I decided I would definitely put this single one. An INCREDIBLE Tropical smell! I have never smelled so good before.
⭕28.08.2020:
Super crop on the branches made 24.08, and subsequently planted in a generous 20l fabric pot. In fact it was preferable to do the opposite, but I was returning from vacation and I acted in a hurry...
But that's okay, it went well.
🌱Substrate : Bio Bizz Light Mix + Perlite added 10% + coco 10%
💧Only 2ml/l root juice and bio heaven.
Ph 6.2-6.3.
⚠️Some pH correctors significantly increase EC, if they are solutions containing low amounts of nuts or just water.
I use GHE ph down. Both in powder and liquid it does not change the EC even in pure water.

The temperatures have dropped considerably these days :) very well.

Is it better to remove them by promoting higher grow and keep that part clean as a structure?

I'd say keep 'em. They are filling the right side of the tent nicely and the tops are looking good in those. If you cut them you need to train your plant more to fill the whole tent if you want to max out your yield and used space

Three days ago I did a root flush. I saw it too dark, in fact it is suspected the coco
(I didn't feel like rinsing when I added it. my fault.)
had released large quantities of non-assimilable potassium.
Soil was highly acidified, about 5.6 with EC 1,700.
I reported it with various washes at ph 6.3 and EC about 1200.
The plant is immediately appreciated. And now it's exploding, with a decidedly healthier color

Last day at 18 hours of light :) from tomorrow I move it in a mammoth box 80x80.
Lamp qb288 x2 pushed by HLG_240 C2100.
I foresee some good ones 😋is exploding day by day. I will also have to start fertilizing.

Transferred to a clean box.
2 days from the switch 12/12.
Last evening I noticed some white spots on the leaves, looking with the lens under the leaves I found some black mites / lice ... They had already laid several eggs. I treated everything well with nemm oil, soft potassium soap and 2 ml of liter of spinosad.
Many appear to have been washed away, some were still there today but the spinosad acts mainly by ingestion, within a few days they should be eliminated, however I will do the treatment again before starts flower.

I started fertilization 2 days ago, he seems to have appreciated and wanted more. this evening post new photos.
Fertilized with:
4.5ml / l of Canna coco A.
2.5ml / l Cannazym
0.5ml / l Growth Technology Liquid Silicon
0.2gr / l Green House Feeding - Booster
Review on the small banana harvested in the last grow:
An incredible scent and flavor, in 8 years of growing, I have never smelled such a DEFINED fragrance.
the smell reminds me of the "tropical" home deodorant, the taste is reported the same, it seems to eat papaya / pineapple.
very very good!
I hope to find the same phenotype.

The EC meter had a dead battery😡 and marked much less than what was actually present in the water.
For this I am not very sure of the last fertilized. I rely heavily on that to prepare my solution.
and I didn't notice right away unfortunately. but nothing serious.
today I wet it abundantly with water only until the vase has gushed out.

Actually neither of these will cause red/purple stems, but a Magnesium deficiency can cause purple stems. A good cannabis-friendly nutrient system has a significant amount of magnesium, but if you’re using very soft water, or RO water, you may need to add a Cal-Mag to your nutrient regimen. Also, Temperature can play a part in this too this – Heat or especially cold can trigger red stems in some places. Big temperature fluctuations can also do it even if the temperature is in a good range. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.

to celebrate i harvest my tropicanna banana, about 50 days of flowering, a little early ripening due to poor fertilization and cold. some mistake of mine, but that's okay.
I will refer to the next grow.
now to drying, then I will make a detailed report. good tropical lemon scents :)
UNIQUE taste and aroma, recognizable among 100 others.
I could notice 2 slightly different phenotypes as aromas, but always tangi, the first was papaya, mango, pure tropical, while this was more towards lemon but always with tropical notes.
I will definitely do it again.
Another plus point, Barneys genetics are very rich in resin! All those tried so far have shown these fabulous snow covered peaks.
