This is afollow Up Diary to my other Zkittalicious Plants
This was a Seed, that started slow and runty...
so i took it seperately and it moved Outdoors later
There she developed nicely , and I took her Indoors today, to finish her
She sits in a
15l Airpot, filled with my Soilmix
She shows little Preflowers,
So I call today Day 1 of Flower
Iam looking for good working and silent fans , Until now ihave been using Secret Jardin Fans.
But its afoogin Game with them.
They are working, but if you stop them, they dont like to work again... or starting superslow and loud
I look for monkeyclip Fans // oscillating or not
Hi!
I'm using Garden High Pro's fans and I really like the 20cm one. They are one speed only and not oscillating but they have Direct drive magnetic engine and they are silent and powerful and low power consumption.
https://www.gardenhighpro.com/productos.php?op=productsDetail&id_articulo=23
Apparently there is also an oscillating version but I have not tested it
Thank you @Shagrath for the link. Iam having the Humipro Humidifier... but he gave up correct working after 5 Months-----
I hope very much that the Fans are much better^^... because they are running 24/7
Thank you for your suggestions
@Mrs_Larimar, Happy to help! I have 2 x 15cm fans and 2 x 20cm fans. I'm going to change em all to 20cm fans soon and they have been running 24/7 for 10 months now without a problems, I just need to take the cat hair off them every now and then. I also have industrial lubricant (Any other will do too) in case they start to run badly. They are easy maintenance too, you can just pull the blades off, clean and use lubricant on the bearing and put back together!
I got the SP 3000 9 days ago. It is such a jump from the Mars hydro Eco 120 i was on before. After a few hiccups i think i am getting used to it and i love it. Perfect as my space is long and thin. 1.6m x 0.8m but good height. 2.35m. I really like you can remove the driver and dimmer from the light and keep them out of the tent. The driver does get very hot..!
@Mrs_Larimar, being able to keep the driver outside of the tent is simply great. I love this. It also can give you some additional cm of headroom and it will reduce the weight of the light, so in my opinion this is a very good feature! The lower temperatures outside of the temp might even increase the lifetime of the driver.
@Theia, thank you very much, I was looking at my driver and dimmer and yes . I wonderred why the cable is so long when i installed it,,, but its logically
as iam living in an old framhouse, made of sandstone i have no heat problems at all. I summer i have very moderate 21 degree inside and in Winter its lovely cosy and warm
@Mrs_Larimar, yes it is very easy. Just 4 screws on the driver and 4 on the dimmer. They both seperate and have about 2M of cable (on my light at least). It has taken about 4c from the grow space and now my dimmer is outside so nice and easy to change..
On a side not i did have some issue with the wires not being done correctly. I had to open my cable joiner from the mains plug to the driver as the grab screws were all lose and my light kept turn off with a electrical short circuit noise!!!๐จ
All good now.๐ i made a very bad video guide if you think it may be useful to you i can PM a link of it to you.. Although im sure you will work it out ๐
It's been awhile since I've come by to see your projects, but as per usual things are looking great and your kids are super happy๐. Keep up the fine work my friendโ. It was a pleasure to catch up on all the happenings๐
@Mrs_Larimar, Haha. Old timer saying that I like tooโบ๏ธ. And yep! Winters on the horizon, so back inside with ya๐ ๐! Look forward to the new kids and progress ๐
@JinksyGrows, Iam very close to end all the outddors,,,, just afew Ak automatics and the CBD. Strains growing indoors now. And abatch of new Plants are in the Babytent
Always happy trails for you ( I love that" happy trails_thing"... catched up from you
She looks great Mrs_Larimer. Very pretty flowers and lovely shape. I found 70% dimmer at a height of between 30 for my widow and 45 for the purps. I used the 2 pulleys to sit the light on an angle so I can use different heights along the grow space just by moving the plant. Seems to work and great light.
I have a 60 x 120 x 160 tent, I love it but my 400w hps gets it way too hot.. So I've been looking at this very mars hydro to try.. I'll be following to see how it works for you.. Thanks for the useful info in advance
Happy growing
@RustyStarbuck72, Same temperatures here. At the beginning of the month there was cold and rainy and nighttwemps below or around zero... and this week very hot and dry ----- but my Garden Girls needed it and love it very much.
Help is always near... just ask per pm
Thanks for taking the time to reply by the way. Real world input from experienced growers like yourself helps alot when it's all new. Here in the UK, changes in temp will always be an issue. It was 32ยฐc today but in a months time it could be dropping below zero but I think I will get the mars hydro as soon as I can for Summer use.. And keep the HPS for winter use if I need more heat lol @Mrs_Larimar,
@RustyStarbuck72,iam sure with a200 watt quantumboard you will have big success in a growingtent your size........i let the lights running on 75 percent atm... thats the fun part of it ,,, that you can dimm the lights... 300 watts on that surface is really alot
but we will see
@@@Rheaun613,i know those remedies.... but BTkills my nematodes too. Iam using nematodes, yellowstickers and airflow( neem too)
Ive started with BT,,,,, but i was not convinced
Its anorganic( living soil) and ihave arranged with those lil foggers
@Mrs_Larimar,
Cool, I was reading how beneficial bacteria can prevent gnats on your soil (Bacillus thurigiensis var. israelensis). However I understand the moisture layer's level, or depth plays a role.
fun idea : corona is spead by aerosols so if you take a HEPA filter and an extractor and use it in any closed space you're in, you can reduce your chances of coming into contact with the virus... maybe growers will survive this plague after all, who knows. ๐
Anything over 7" and not clipped to posts takes too much room in the tent. I agree those Secret Jardin could be made better, mine squeak unless adjusted. If they don't turn back on it may be heat issue.
