Welcome! Audrey is looking good heading into Week 8. I ended last week with a last LST and defoliation/lollipop session. She's wide enough now that she'll take up the square footage of the tent once she's grown a bit more. Also has kept her low, exactly how I want it. Without LST she'd be about 16-18 inches on her main cola, but right now she's sitting at 10 across the board. Nutes on point, pH on point, stems and leaves healthy, temp and humidity on point. She perked up a lot after the defoliation so I'm guessing another growth spurt week.
Biggest concern I have this week is getting her flowers out. If you've followed this, you know I strongly suspect these are not auto seeds. Although she's grown her first white pistils, I'm not seeing any triggering of the flower. If she's not built any flowers by the end of this week I'm flipping her to 12-12 to trigger the process, no questions asked (last grow I did with these seeds she grew the entire tent without flipping to flowering. Not having that again!). If you have experience with 12-12 on autos, let me know. I'm most curious about whether I can flip her back to 24-0 once she's into flower to finish the process.
UPDATE: I just looked on Seedsman's website to see if there's new reviews and yep, a lot of people stating they received photoperiods. I'm switching it to 12-12 now rather than the end of the week; I've been growing since May without a harvest because of this screw up on Seedsman's part, so I'm not waiting around!
I'll update throughout the week. Good luck with your grows! For Rock and Stone.
Day 52: God, I wish this plant was done after last night's roller coaster. Well, good news is that the 12-12 flip seemed to have triggered flowering, as those pistils are blowing up all over the plant. The ones that already were there have lengthened considerably. Seeing as the last grow she only had a few wispy ones, I consider this a good sign. Will probably do some more defoliation at the end of the week to clear out some of the new growth on the underside that isn't getting any light.
From what I can see it's a healthy mix of Cloudy and Clear. Look for 30% amber for a harvest sweet spot on your plant.
Always look to the buds and not sugar leafs when checking! 🤘😤
Hello!
what a nice looking plant you got there, great job!
Soon you'll be able to enjoy the puffs of this delicious strain ehehe
I'm actually writing and tasting it, as I just harvested mine a few weeks ago eheh
Good luck with the remaining time, happy grow
@TheGourmetWeed, I have an end date I have to keep to due to company, but I intend to run her as long as I can! NL Autos can take a while; some people on Grow Diaries ran theirs 18-24 weeks!
@4RockandStone, thank you for the kind words :D
If you followed my diary, then I really give you a good piece of advice. Let it be a couple more weeks than I did.
I regret now harvesting so soon as the effects could be stronger.
@TheGourmetWeed, thanks man! I've been looking at your diary the past few weeks to gauge what to expect with this NL Auto. Hope it turns out as well as yours!
