Well, here we are, last week! I unfortunately will have to cut this by Sunday of next week due to family coming for Christmas, so my hope is Audrey is ready by then with some amber trichromes showing. If not, we'll be doing sampling over the next week to gauge how well off she is. She's obviously close to the end of her life cycle, as her fan leaves are starting to fade, buds have swollen past leaves in some places, and trichromes are almost all cloudy now. Based on the samples from the past two weeks I did a quick estimation of how much I might harvest, and it looks to be at least above 70 grams including trim. That's about where I'm shooting.
Going to take a moment to leave a critical review for anyone considering this Seedsman strain -- DON'T. I can't guarantee her genetics after the debacle of switching to 12-12, she's been extremely slow growing for an auto, and while she smells great and size is alright this has *not* been beginner friendly, stealthy, or swift. My suggestion would be to go with another seed bank if you're looking for an NL Auto and want one of those three things above, or just do a Seedsman photoperiod NL.
That's my bitch-fit for the diary! We'll be pulling off a sample today and will report back tomorrow. We'll pull another sample on Wed-Thu and report back. Check back then, and good luck with your grows! For Rock and Stone.
UPDATE DAY 93: Took the sample yesterday (about 2g wet) and baked it at 115 C for 40 minutes. After some adjustments to the dose, she worked like a charm. Nice and heady, low dose was pretty chill and calming and could get stuff done, higher dose was much more "baked" feeling. Little body high, not much. I'd rate a 7/10 and probably be fine if this is as good as she got for a harvest. As it stands, I'm letting it go until I find at least a few amber trichromes or Sunday rolls around. She'll gain weight in the meantime.
UPDATE DAY 94: The wife has given the go-ahead for a harvest! We both enjoyed the high we got and would actually like to avoid a couchlock scenario, and I've been finding 30% of amber trichromes on sugar leaves (not buds, but again we're looking for peak THC with this indica) so we're starting the harvest today. I'll report back with plenty of photos soon!
From what I can see it's a healthy mix of Cloudy and Clear. Look for 30% amber for a harvest sweet spot on your plant.
Always look to the buds and not sugar leafs when checking! 🤘😤
Hello!
what a nice looking plant you got there, great job!
Soon you'll be able to enjoy the puffs of this delicious strain ehehe
I'm actually writing and tasting it, as I just harvested mine a few weeks ago eheh
Good luck with the remaining time, happy grow
@TheGourmetWeed, I have an end date I have to keep to due to company, but I intend to run her as long as I can! NL Autos can take a while; some people on Grow Diaries ran theirs 18-24 weeks!
@4RockandStone, thank you for the kind words :D
If you followed my diary, then I really give you a good piece of advice. Let it be a couple more weeks than I did.
I regret now harvesting so soon as the effects could be stronger.
@TheGourmetWeed, thanks man! I've been looking at your diary the past few weeks to gauge what to expect with this NL Auto. Hope it turns out as well as yours!
