FB Purple Lemonade Auto

I am excited about this run with my FB seeds as their ability to express color is hyped. And none more than Purple Lemonade as I've checked a ton of diaries in my research. These will be grown alongside 5 other auto of various genetics. Follow those as well and see whose genetics reign supreme at harvest. If its the freebie Blueberry strain from Seedsman I'll die laughing but from the start its looking crazy already. Check out my Blueberry Auto diary to see how it took off. Just your average week 2. Description said not to give this baby too much food but I fed her on day 11 just like the rest with no obvious ill effects. All my FB plants look like true hybrids as they are growing up and out. The Amnesia however looks like an indica and the Blueberry is growing tall lie a sativa with no branching at all. Not what I pictured from this bunch...

Wow this lady decided to take off a little this week. Big broad indica leaves with the second most prolific side branches. She also had a vertical spurt making her another candidate for a bit of main stem LST and tucking as she develops more potential sites. At this point minimal training has kept the tops of all six plants nice and even. In the next few weeks its gonna be fun keeping an even canopy with all the different stretch rates going on. All descriptions for this strain say that it'll go fine without nutes but its been taking the same feeds as all the others and seems to be better off for it. We shall see....

Well I was hoping for a longer veg before this one in particular started flowering because c'mon who doesn't want a monster purple plant. It was already decently large and had a good spread that its really grown into now. The description says she is a light eater and since she had no purple stems like Blueberry I didn't add any bloom nutes to her schedule yet. She is about to hit that stretch but she's really bushy with a nice even canopy so I'm not too worried about height differences. Wherever she tops out will determine how low I train the canopy of the more sativa strains. Thats the beauty of LST in theory but we shall see.... Also I'm doing better about pictures now. I've started taking daily pics of EACH plant to show progress. Hope this improves the quality of all my diaries.

Good gracious as the growth this week. At least 8 inches vertical growth and the LST has really paid off with the shape and light penetration. Can't wait for the color show to start. This and Blueberry are clearly further into flower than the others so their nutes got changed up. Still not taking it easy on her with her feeds. She takes the same as Blueberry with no fuss at all. Getting thirstier for sure. Gonna have to up water intake this week. Fastbuds has me super impressed... Check out day 31... 2 budsites coming from a single internode. Gonna be a cool bud. Seen a lot of cool mutations this run even though they're not very stressed.

So the training is over for this round. Time to sit back and watch all those extra budsites pay off. Got a ton on this plant and she's gaining fast. Feels like she could really produce some super fat juicy buds. Already shoeing signs of coloration on new leaves and stems are completely purple. Gonna lower night temps a bit soon. Really exciting strain here. Still the tallest of the FastBuds but hopefully the other two will match her height. These 6 plants really fill my space. Maybe 4 would've done better but the SoG is pretty cool. Can't wait to see these plants show off some awesome colors. My ppm was high this week and I think I had a slight pH issue with one watering where I rushed it but I've chilled on the nutes the last couple of watering so they're looking fine now besides some slight tip burn. Thought they wanted more P but it was really just my new lights turning the stems red. I got tricked like a first timer so it can definitely happen and now I feel as if I wasted a week of these plants life. Tsk tsk Mr. Scarecrow...

EXPLOSIVE! I absolutely love growing this strain and all the @Fast_Buds genetics. Started 6 more plants from seed this past week and all are up and healthy. Check out those new diaries with water only dry amendments and coco. Brought in an air pump to aerate my water and stabilize pH and the ladies love it. Only thing I can think of is that the description said she doesn't like alot of nutes and could get by on just water. Well because of that I erred on the side of caution and ended up misreading the leaves thinking I had overfed her and burned the tips. What I didn't realize was that she was begging for more K just like my Blueberry plant. I realize that by waiting to switch nutes so long they were able to grow alot bigger but acquired a potassium deficiency in the process that I've fixed with the Big Bud in my solution. The buds on this thing fill out FAST AF. They're almost cola can size colas already and some are polyploid. This one is so fun to watch and the smell is strong and cheesy for some reason. Still waiting for the colors but we shall see....

Man this chick reeks of cheese and berries danish. I mean its crazy how strong that smell has been since the first calyx. The buds continue to fatten up and I'm moving toward the Overdrive rather than Big Bud as I near the flush. Overall I've loved this strain. Wish I had attended to its potassium needs sooner along with my Blueberry but what can I say the website tricked me into thinking this plant didn't really like nutrients. So I took it too easy on them at the onset of flower and have a lot of faded leaves to show for it but no detrimental effects since they're turning purple anyway. Really need to get my night temps down some but this cold front next week should help. We shall see....

Well I definitely got my nighttime temps down and got some color and trich production going on this girl and the blueberry as well as the orange sherbet. I absolutely cannot wait to smoke this beast. The colas are massive and I've gone to the Overdrive in prep for the coming flush. Cruise control engaged...

This baby is a straight up color show all over. She's got another week until flush but I'm not expecting much more mass but she's solid with no larfy buds on the second tier and I barely had to lollipop her. The smell is overwhelming now and I'm stoked to try this strain. These most definitely are some fast buds. The pics say it all. Didn't get the super dark pheno but the frost is there in full force so hopefully one or both of these in my coco run will get that signature color but we shall see...

Looks like she will be the first to finish. Started flushing along with blueberry and just like the blueberry this one is leaning like crazy and had to have the branches tied back to the main to avoid snapping stems. Great problem to have lol. Super stinky and frosty and just waiting to be enjoyed. Only another month til its ready to come out of the jar and test. Wonk wonk.... patience is definitely a virtue if you want quality buds. For now the trich watch is on...

Well we have our first finisher of this run and she is a beauty. Just flushed her really good and she's headed for 72 hours of darkness to try and bring out the rest of her color and trichs. Speaking of trichs she is one of the frostiest strains I've harvested thus far. Will get some really good pics without the grow lights and post them next week with the harvest details. Then the wait is on for the smoke report which will most likely be out around Christmas. We shall see and thanks for following along.

Absolutely loved growing this. As I said during the grow it was an early flowering auto which I normally feel like are a waste and a purple strain which are normally finicky but she was a pleasure to grow. She stunk from the first calyx like cheese and berries. Never got the deep purples I see others get but a very beautiful strain nonetheless. The frost is so thick you can't see any color but silver anyhow. Strong heady high that slowly seeps into the body and can take you to sleep if you aren't careful. Love it 👍
