This is the last of 6 simultaneous diaries that I'm introducing so just gonna say that I germed my normal way(glass, papertowel, soil mix). So this thing is determined to prove me wrong because at the start of my experiment here I expected little of this strain especially compared to the primo FB strains I chose. Well within 12 hours in the dirt it was up and out and a few inches at the end of the week. Took off like a bullet...
So I was saying on a couple of my other diaries how these strains were all acting crazy. Well my Amnesia is short with very broad leaves and my Blueberry is tall and barely showing that hair in the armpit look of side shoots pushing thru. It's just on a vertical mission at the moment. Let's see if the new lighting helps any of the others catch up. Idk though if the MSNL CTA hadn't had a bad start plus the progress its shown this week it could've been the champ. But this is the Blueberry diary so yeah this thing is a pleasant surprise....
What a crazy pheno we have here. Almost 3 straight weeks of nothing but vertical growth. I mean she shot up out of absolutely nowhere to the point where I had to literally bend her main stem over parallel to the ground and the top is still even with the others and the soil level in this bucket is lower. Astonishing except the fact that I'm looking for what matches my setup best and it took all week for it to respond to the LST and produce side branches though they are still smallish but improving. Also I started another one of these just to see how it grows in comparison. If it is all vert too I'll either top or FIM and observe what happens. As always we shall see...
So this one threw me off as it showed pistils literally hours after my last update with the FB Purple Lemonade showing the day after. Very early girls. Hoped for 5 week veg from all but knew better going in. Good open response to LST. She definitely has scoliosis lol. She had some stems purplish so I added phosphorus and she loved it. Wish her sister would grow like her so I can try FIMming it. This plant is really growing on me as it is versatile and responds well to being trained. Hope I get the colors but we shall see...
So she put on another 6 inches and has grown into a wonderful star shape. Really bushed out beyond expectation. Even though she had pistils early she's still been vegging hard until I switched nutes on the last water. Her red stems went away and she looks sooooo happy. Ready for some blooms. She should finish first then i have my fimmed one to harvest right after. Hope this stuff is decently potent since it wants to produce a bunch lol. With Amnesia's comeback I'm started to consider some Seedsman in house genetics for another run. Loving this whole grow though. Vigorous plants all around.
I cannot believe that this plant is so tall. It has maxed out my grow lights so hopefully trying not to burn this one will keep the rest at a manageable level. This and the Purple Lemonade are through the roof with Critical Thunder a close third. Waiting for the other FastBuds to really stretch but I may be too late on that. Really tried to keep a uniform canopy without a net but this half of my room has a nice little SoG effect. The purple stems were from my new LEDs and tricked me into a slight overfeeding this week so y'all may see some tip burn on the girls. Dialed back with straight water the next go and they seem no worse for wear but we shall see...
This strain is confusing as far as how to feed it. So it showed pistils at day 22 but I wanted to get the most out of it so I didn't switch to bloom nutes and she grew big and tall and bushy. Then I started adding bloom nutes to the mix and the tips started to burn so I cut out nitrogen except in my calmag and leaves started to yellow and drop fast while the top looks starved for potassium. Bought an air pump and started aerating my solution and the nutes seem to work better now. The deficiencies I saw have not progressed and my pH has stabilized. The buds don't form as big as fast as the ones on other plants like Purple Lemonade which has much fatter buds and they both showed pistils the same day. It looks like these colas will be long and thin. Very sativa pheno unlike the one I FIMmed which is very short. Overall I'm pleasanty surprised at the mass of this plant. Smells very flowery and sweet. Just needs to pack on some weight but we shall see what happens...
Never thought this strain would take off like this and fill in like this. The buds look just like its parent Afghan with that long spiral look to the colas. Really starting to pack on weight and strai those long branches. Wish I'd known she was a K hog from the jump but I missed the boat when she flowered on me so fast. Its all good though since she's holding g more bud now than I expected in a million years. Wish the Amnesia from Seedsman had been more impressive. I'm torn on this breeder now but we shall see...
Went ahead and really got the Overdrive into her feeds this week in preparation of the flush after next week. The temps came down this week and really brought out some nice colors on most of my girls in the tent. The branches are close to buckling with bud so I did a little reverse LST supporting the side branches with the main stem. All good stress for the plant to finish up strong. Love the fruity flowery smell on this one as well as the stickiness. Good grief I can barely touch a fan leaf without my fingers gumming up. Can't wait to get this beast on a scale. These foot long colas gotta weigh nice but we shall see...
Can't believe it's almost time to flush. Cut out the bloom nutes and went with straight boosters so she can finish up strong and put on as much weight in the second tier as she has up top. Really got some beautiful color out of her with violet and lilac on top of pale blue. Her leaves have faded nicely as well and looks so sick in person. The buds will probably deepen after the cold flush and 72 hours of dark before the chop but we shall see...
So I wanted to let the bottom tier fill in a little more but the trichs are saying its about that time so we started the flush this week. Shes leaning sooo hard from weight that I basically had to use LST ties to support the branches with the main stem. Colas are just beautiful and the structure is very similar to her Afghan parentage. Smells very unique as well. Another full week and hopefully she can come down. We shall see...
So I thought since they started flowering at the same time that this one would finish alongside the Purple Lemonade but the trich check has proven me wrong. Looks like I started the flush a bit early but she didn't seem to suffer for it as far as production. Honestly she really fattened up on top during the flush but I just couldn't get the lower tier to fill in. Probably should've lollipopped a bit higher and left a shorter canopy so the lights could penetrate completely. Maybe its because these all grew so big that I had to cram them in my space leaving little light for the inner depths. Oh well she'll get another week unless she's ready when I actually chop the PL. We shall see...
This lady just doesn't wanna finish up. The trichs, and there are a ton of them, just won't turn amber for me. So she's on her third week of straight water and the lack of nitrogen has caused her to let go of almost all of her leaves yet she is still dragging ass. Thought she'd finish first but now that the purple lemonade is gone it looks like the wedding cheesecake is gonna beat this one to the chop. We shall see...
This thing is just a lingerer lol. I swear it was the first to show pistils and has been on the flush for almost a month now. She's dropped all her leaves but those trichs just won't turn for me. I really hope she decides to finish up this week. This whole run needs to finish so I can pop all of the new 2021 testers I've received over the past week....
This strain is pretty mild compared to the rest of the strains this go round. It isn't a head ringer but still gets the job done no doubt. Just a novel strain I wanted to try and while it isn't over 20% its still beautiful and stinky sweet plus the yield was nice. An anytime smoke okay for beginners.
This one was a freebie and so worth growing. She took off and never looked back. With some creative LST she got around 3 feet tall with many large colas. Dried fluffy but cured up denser. Very flowery and fruity smell with an awesome array of hues from pinks to blues. Really easy lovey plant. Not the strongest smoke but a fun beauty none the less. The Afghan genetics really show in the bud formation and spiciness. Do not regret giving this one a try.
@Qlimax, yeah she's not had any nutes in 3 weeks but she just keeps on bulking and showing deeper colors and stinking up the room with that spicy floral berry smell!
