Stickanswered grow question 6 years ago Hi there! Only trichome’s glandular domes ("bulbs") should change, from clear to milky to amber. The "foot" remains the same. For maximum resin production and potency, you should harvest when trichomes have moved from milky-white to an amber-hue, meaning they've started to oxidate and they've reached the apex of their development cycle. But your trichomes may have been affected by other factors : physical contact, wind, heat, or the sun. If leaves are dying/yellowing + new pistils have stopped appearing + almost all pistils have turned brown or red and curly ===> you're good to go, enjoy your harvest bro!
