AH #1 started cannibalizing it self in dramatic fashion. I have 2 theories. 1 being root rot, because I didn't realize how much slower they drink, when you grow organically. 2 would be that the fungus gnat larvae are out of control and the Roots are stressed by this. Maybe both! I started watering every other day instead of every day and a half. I also purchased some organic pesticide that you mix with the feed and it supposedly kills the larvae.
AH #2 is a way more pest resistant pheno. Showing no sign of root trouble in the leaves. She is actually fading to a nice purple color on the leaves around top.
#1 actually smells way stronger than #2. Both smell amazing though. Really sweet chronic smell. In fact I've never had the plants I grow smell that close to the professional stuff does. So even though the buds are all dinky, I'm not gonna give up on trying to grow organically this season. I'm just going to try getting better at it.
I probably should have started phing organically right away, but I have been using AN ph down. Which if you haven't used it, is crazy strong. I picked up Zen Products O'calm down. Made in Michigan.
Not crazy strong but it contains chelating agents so adding a lot isn't a bad thing.
I will let these flower for 2 more weeks at least. Merry Christmas growers!
