Great Week!
Wedding cake is looking to party!😂 Stretching up and reaching out....
I placed them on the heat mat, set temp for 20 C (68 F). First light they have is a 75 w led with 4 led UV. The girls really seem to like it 😀
Gave them a little bit of water, enough to soak the outside soil, and every 2nd day due to the heat mat drying them out faster.
Added a fan (on low) to strengthen the stem. Hopefully it also keeps the little pest away if they come😈
Soil mixture is kryptonite, perlite, and some organic pro-mix. Kryptonite is way to hot for young roots by itself... adding pro-mix and perlite certainly balances the nutrients. I just use tap water which is pH 7 (Neutral) and the soil adjust the pH usually around 6.5😀
The girls are certainly out pacing their BB sisters.... let the competition begin😱
Enjoy!
😁😝
@Blacklisted, In my past grows, I had more larf (small buds, popcorn buds) then I wanted. After alot of research of different training methods, and from my own experiences... I believe by removing the larf within the first 3-4 weeks of flower, that it will direct all the growing energy towards the tops... whether it be the main colas or the satellite arms. That way, you end up with bigger and tighter nugs.
In previous grows, if I removed the larf, I usually snipped the fans leaves as well. This time, I'm leaving them to help with the shock and to have more area for light absorption. I will remove any big leaves if they are in the way of buds growing and if I need better air flow.
This is my first test with this type of training to see if it truly works.
Happy Growing!😁
