Mambo #5.... I mean Week #9!๐
Let's get right at it...
Wedding cake is certainly sticking to the breeders numbers.... I figured with the lower temps, that I would be talking about harvest, not another week drooling!
The trichs in the pics are from the lower stack of the bud... still clear and cloudy with little to no amber. The top of the buds are looking finished... just forgot to take pics with the digital scope... for some high reason.... forgot!๐
The temps been as low as 13.8 C and I gave her another watering at day 56 thinking she might go the distance. She had another 4 Litres...
I also snapped a few pics with lights off to get a real good look at her... still drooling๐ The smell is so strong... quite earthy now... but if you smell long enough, you can pick up on sweet undertones... or I'm just smell high๐ณ
I usually kill the lights 3 days before I think it's harvest, but with Big Bud finishing so quick and Wedding Cake taking longer, I decided for this grow not to put her in darkness 3 before... just gonna chop her when she's ready!
So, let's hope with the night temps low and her age, that she finishes up next week.... then I can drool a little more!๐
Happy Growing! ๐๐๐
@Blacklisted, In my past grows, I had more larf (small buds, popcorn buds) then I wanted. After alot of research of different training methods, and from my own experiences... I believe by removing the larf within the first 3-4 weeks of flower, that it will direct all the growing energy towards the tops... whether it be the main colas or the satellite arms. That way, you end up with bigger and tighter nugs.
In previous grows, if I removed the larf, I usually snipped the fans leaves as well. This time, I'm leaving them to help with the shock and to have more area for light absorption. I will remove any big leaves if they are in the way of buds growing and if I need better air flow.
This is my first test with this type of training to see if it truly works.
Happy Growing!๐
