Week #6
I like when this week rolls around. Most girls are done growing up and are getting ready to grow wide! 😜
As seen throughout my grows, I like to remove leaves. This makes some growers uncomfortable as plants need their leaves for growing.👺 I will leave some, but only to remove later... which I don't really consider that a defoliation since it is one leaf or two...
After almost 2 years of growing, and searching through piles of info on the big bad web, what I'm finding out is that you really need to know the strain to really know what's best. I'm more of a different strain but same technique sort of grower!
One of my fellow growers just grows one strain all the time and he certainly does know it...I have Cola envey!😍
The bugs seemed to do their magic trick... disappear. Now they have me waiting to see if they're coming back with a vengence! Haven't sprayed in a few days due to the nice buds... but I will when the fuckers come back! 😈
Wedding Cake is drinking steady at 3L every third day... forgot about the last watering and it went four days. She was a little extra thristy.😱
The clones are looking great!👌 One week behind, smaller pots, topped one and fim'ed the other the day I switched them (12/12)...
With that said, good job @pevseeds on the genetics... so far, besides a male appearing, the strain is tough and if I had let her grow without training... I think she would be fighting for room as she grew quite big while being mainlined. 👍👊💪
Lastly, still only using water! I really like that kryptonite soil!
Happy Growing!😀
@Blacklisted, In my past grows, I had more larf (small buds, popcorn buds) then I wanted. After alot of research of different training methods, and from my own experiences... I believe by removing the larf within the first 3-4 weeks of flower, that it will direct all the growing energy towards the tops... whether it be the main colas or the satellite arms. That way, you end up with bigger and tighter nugs.
In previous grows, if I removed the larf, I usually snipped the fans leaves as well. This time, I'm leaving them to help with the shock and to have more area for light absorption. I will remove any big leaves if they are in the way of buds growing and if I need better air flow.
This is my first test with this type of training to see if it truly works.
Happy Growing!😁
