Perfect week!๐
Not much to do with the girl this week except removing a leaf or two that were covering a bud site. She does seem to be getting heavier and starting to lean. ๐ฒ
That's why I love the tomato rings or a net... something to attach and hold. I also love the sign of them getting fat... that's when you know you're doing a good job up to that point of time.๐
The thripes seem to be under control... they never go away until you clean the tent real good... better then I did apparently ๐๐ ๐ฑ I used 1 part 3% peroxide and 3 parts water and sprayed under and over the leaves... protected the bud sites with my hand.
Also, if you see any leaves that look like a deficiency... that's my stupid ass spraying with the lights on๐ ... but maybe I boiled the little fuckers to death.... yeah... I'm gonna go with that ๐
She's drinking a solid 3L every 3 days but she's quite light on the third day... so I believe it's time to up the water or reduce the time in between...
All her nodes are starting to come together to form that beautiful giant cola ๐ฒ and I will have eight of them๐๐. Even the satellite arms are going to have nice little nugs... I'm glad I removed most of the larf... I think by doing so it lets more energy go to the nugs. One more defoliation, then there will be nothing but nugs and colas...
Yeah Baby!!!
Thanks for coming!
Happy Growing!!! ๐
@Blacklisted, In my past grows, I had more larf (small buds, popcorn buds) then I wanted. After alot of research of different training methods, and from my own experiences... I believe by removing the larf within the first 3-4 weeks of flower, that it will direct all the growing energy towards the tops... whether it be the main colas or the satellite arms. That way, you end up with bigger and tighter nugs.
In previous grows, if I removed the larf, I usually snipped the fans leaves as well. This time, I'm leaving them to help with the shock and to have more area for light absorption. I will remove any big leaves if they are in the way of buds growing and if I need better air flow.
This is my first test with this type of training to see if it truly works.
Happy Growing!๐
