Transplanted from 4 inch pots to 1 Gallon pots. Used Black Gold organic soil coco and peat mix amended with some oyster shells as a ph buffet and extra calcium!! I over watered on the 7th to test the runoff bad idea 💡 trust in the dosage. I also tested the light at a closer distance plants didn't respond too well went back to 24 from 20. Let them dry out until the 9th gave them a mix of 2ml of each Golden Tree A+B and Fish shit they ate it up!!

Day 28 from cutting they are EATING GOOD! I feel they were a bit hungry but are so happy now. They are reaching for the sky! Watered on Dec 14 with a ppm of around 900 of 6ml /gal A+B 6 ml FS 2ML golden tree. I'm seeing some signs of a few things that I have pretty much eliminated down to either a nutrient deficiency or a need to transplant either way this weekend I'm going to do it and we will see what the results are!

Had to start a new week early for the good news!! TRANSPLANT WEEK!!!! Let me just say that in such a short time these roots have grown crazy!! I have been using intermittent watering techniques letting it dry out thoroughly and doing a deep slow watering. Turns out that the deficiencies I was seeing was not from the mixture that I was using but from the fact that the roots were searching out new soil!. Dec 18 Plants are Great!! No transplant shock 😲 Jaeger and mimosa both grew 2 inches in two days! I'm needing to get them to flowering soon going to give it a few days. I topped mimosa and pp several weeks ago and they are fully recovered. December 18th received my care package from NPK industries of their raw line super stoked to use it and going to utilize on one plant to track grow progress versus the Humboldt secrets! Stay tuned!! Dec 21. Watered all of them with nute mixtures. Decided that from now on PP is going to be only NPK products so I can compare their growth and flower development am so excited!! LST all of the plants to equal sizes and down to the tallest branches I see lots of potential cola forming! I also defoliated to give the buds a bit more light. I received some Great White Micro and am getting some big foot from the PNW I'll be cutting into the roots and doing a real review after I chop. I have experience with mycelium and can give this a good opinion!

It's all prerogative my friend...Count on your plant stretching to roughly twice the size in the first 3-4 weeks after the flip ...we only do small plants inside, i flower plants smaller than yours most times...if i flip a 6" a clone that has vegged for 2 weeks (after rooting) I can count on roughly a 1-1.5ft plant once finished which will yield roughly 1 -1.5oz...if you veg out a 4-5ft plant count on it filling your grow space once in flower...it's entirely up to you..here's a pic of one of our small clones in a 2gal container that has received roughly a 2 week veg before being put into flower: https://tinyurl.com/y9rw2yop ... hope this helps :)

Decided to Veg for one more week!! I am watering the Mimosa and Jaeger with the Humboldt Secrets A+B 9ml each and Golden Tree with 2ml. I also added CalMag 1/2 tsp. I also put Great White Mico in the pp mixture and Big Foot in the mixture for MM and Jae. I used only Raw Grow about 2 tsp with a 1/4 tsp of cal mag in the instructions let's see how it goes. Dec 30. The plants needed defoliating pp the most I stretched the tops down a little further and trimmed mimosa a bit as well. Got the outer growth to the pot edges to encourage proper light penetration. I can tell I am going to have tons of bud sites!!

Looking to Veg for one more week I found these neat scrog supports at my local BiMart and I'm going to veg until it's filled out. I'm still bringing the plant and it's outer part to the pot edges. It seems the Mimosa is growing crazy I'm not sure if it's the strain or the #7 pot I'm sure it's a mixture of both. I am putting Great White in the PP and I have put Big Foot in the Mimosa and the Jaeger. I can say now that I see roots shooting out the bottom of the Mimosa and the Jaeger and I see literal MYCELIUM growing on the roots coming out of the pots the Big Foot has done it's job!!

I can only say that the rate of growth im getting is amazing. Out of all three of the purple punch seems to have the most potent smell I am not sure if it's just the genetics or if it's what I'm feeding but we will see once the other start to develop. Touching the purple punch stem leaves a strong smell on the fingers and giving the bud small pinch smells strongly of grape chapstick. Stay tuned 😜

This week has had some real THICKENING! The colas are chunking up like crazy so far I've had to add supports to the Jaeger and had to do some crazy work to get Mimosa from toppling a bit and bending all over herself had to help her stand up but she is composed. The mimosa is a good 12 to 13 inches taller than the Jaeger which sits at around 24''. I am hoping to hit the OZ mark with her I'm thinking it won't be a problem. I'm tapering off feeding and will be going super light on nutes and go full waterboy status with some high quality h20 in the coming week after. By March 6 I will be drying her on the pot for a few days the chopping those beautiful legs and hanging her up!!!

Wow the Jaeger really started off crazy it was the first to develope gigantic pistils they were just sticking out like crazy, and it also morphed into something that I definitely did not expect. The Jaeger is roughly 10 in shorter than my mimosa plant but only yielded around 144 g more so I'm happy! I will definitely get more of a update once it has tried for a few days and I start the caring process

Holy hell this think took off like crazy. I decided to put her in a #7 to see the difference and it was a 12 inch 2 oz difference! She has such a potent smell and the presentation is great unfortunately I was hospitalized for a few days and before I had the energy to harvest everything it was a bit too dry things are curing right now but I'm afraid there might not be much improvement in taste but it is a smooth smoke and a potent herb!! I had about an oz of popcorn nugs too small to mess with that will be converted into dabs but I'd consider that 84g to be top quality

This was by FAR MY FAVORITE. She was so petite at just 24 inches finishing. She was very buddy despite the smaller bits but they actually turned out being super dense. The structure of the nugs were perfect and she turned purple just like she wanted no stress or tricks involved I was super surprised when she switch colors. All in all the nugs are super and I'm very proud but as I've stated in another and grow I spent a few days in the hospital and but the time I had the energy to harvest they had dried too much in just 7 days. I had a steady temp of 70 day and around 65 night rh 45 to 60 on the first two days but being in the hospital prevented me from watching them as close as I wanted. Fortunately they all smell so good but I'm afraid the cure won't be how I want or how they deserve but I will smoke them. It's still smooth but is missing the taste I had hoped that matched the aroma the entire process it's all a learning experience! The weights are a bit off because I weighed each individual stock included in the weight and the dry is minus all of that plus the little popcorn nugs I'll make into wax/edibles

Looking happy enough at moment. for the flip decision , go with imagining twice the size after stretch period as an upper limit if you want to go for size of yield. They will veg as long as you want them to basically. It is usually our need for weed that has us all flipping as soon as we can.lol .Nothing worse than being Dankrupt !!. lol. With cuttings , the first week or so is a settling into the soil period and similar with a repot. This period will also be building the rootball ready for flowering and the bigger the ball , the fatter the buds. Also by pulling them over a little more horizontal will encourage lower growth to grow to match the tied down ones. This can increase yield as it confuses the plant into changing its auxins and making them main stems too. This directs effort and energy to equalise a little and share the energy for more mains too. .ideally starting this early on in veg trains them better but their flexibility will allow bending and training into the flowering period too. if you can use the pots edges to tie them too before the flip, it will open up the canopy to get light to all the growing tips. hope that's not too much waffle.lol
Ganjagrandaddy
Ganjagrandaddycommented4 years ago
@King_Geedorah,you are thinking correctly with the wayb8t will grow out. Once I get to the edges with photoperiods ( 30L) pots , I then flip them as it does mean the lowers can accelerate , while the tips turn themselves to light and start going vertical. creates a kind of crown of bud spikes that still allows light to them all and also good airflow once they start to fatten up. They mostly think they are the main stem and the plant will feed them accordingly too. has a similar effect to multi-topping but without the recovery times or risk of damage. I have used it in a few of my grows here. it creates some great colas and helps with avoiding budrot too.
King_Geedorah
King_Geedorahcommented4 years ago
@Ganjagrandaddy, So I have been stretching them out more and more progressively so you think I should just open it up. I have bent the tops down and to the lowest point of the side growth and have been encouraging them to grow outwards. Should I bend it down further and work on guiding the outer most branches to the edges so that some interior growth can go upwards? Right now the majority of the growth is 15 inches I can definitely stretch them out but I am concerned that my light won't get proper coverage I do have another light I could use to supplement if need be.

Hi mate. choosing when to flipn8s purely a room size and time issue for most of us. A rule of thumb tends to be , imagine their max finish size and half it as a guide to when to flip. As these are clones , you should have a rough idea of how much they stretch in the transition period. A 50%-100% is the usual range for this one most strains ( dependent on genetics too. ) i use this as my general guide for photoperiod grows but I also tie down a lot so have spare head room to play with at the end.
