Jan 4th Moved plants to a 30 l res Started plants on very week nutes Leaves are turning yellow Jan 8th I think I figured out why my plants were turning yellow. Originally I was not sure if it was light burn or the fact that the roots were starting to grow out of the baskets and becoming exposed to light. That’s why I put them into the reservoir, and gave them nutrients. As it turns out the winner was light burn. I was keeping the light at 2” above, first time using flourecent T5 I think they will survive, crossing my fingers Also after further advice to drop my PPM down My city tap water is at 450 PPM already so I dumped the res that was at 750 - 800 PPM and filled it with Just PH balanced water at 6.0 - 6.2 Jan 12th Plants are doing much better. I am going to leave them in week one for another week because of the loss of the first set of leaves, and stress of moving. They are also just starting their third set of leaves, so I really started them to early

Yellowing leaves? Help if you can

Without a picture of the actual plant/s with the problem makes it hard to form an opinion. Otherwise it is a guess between inadequate lights, not enough nutrition or if it is only the cotyledons (baby round/non serrated leaves) that have gone yellow, then that is perfectly normal. Also, I am not sure why you are feeding "Flora Bloom" to days old seedlings, "Bloom" nutrients are called "Bloom" for a reason - they are for when your plants are flowering! Really need a clear, close up picture or three of the actual problem to be able to give you any meaningful help. Cheers.

Nitrogen starts yellowing at the bottom, if you have abnormal growth or yellowing on new growth it would be calmag.

Feb 1st Plants are stretching out with about 2” growth last week. The root structure is awesome. I will be transplanting to individual pots soon. I am going to try out an autopot system which is still considered hydroponic although I will be using coco/per light medium Started them on 75% strength nutes Feb 3rd Moved the plants over to my new autopot system Feb 4th Plants moved to the new medium coco/perlite with very little shock. With in 18 hrs all 3 were perky again

Feb 8th Starting to learn how to grow with the new system I have had a couple of learnings so far 1 The PH level is getting to high by the time it’s in the autopot from the res being keep below 6.0 I try to keep the PH in the res around 5.7 By the time it’s in the plant trays it is testing to be around 6.5 and above. So I’m trying to work that out Also started LST this week

Feb 15th All three plants are doing well They have all been bent over to grow sideways Feb 17th More LST, all is well. Feb 18th Changed out nutrients This week I added 18l of nutes with slightly stronger mix at 75% strength. I will change on next weeks update Feb 21st Plants have used approximately 6 litres since the 18th They are all looking healthy but for some reason they aren’t growing in length that much. They are producing many new branches but the branches are becoming to compacted close together.

Feb 22nd Plants are doing well but they seam to have stunted They are growing lots of branches but not growing in length Also I have been having difficulty keeping my PH balanced out Feb 25th I have taken all of the tie downs off because these plants are stunted I have decided to do a flush of the system, and put in fresh nutes. I will also flush each plant with a few gallons of pure PH’d water I will put the new nute strengths on next week’s update As for now I am going to feed just PH’d water @ 6.0 Feb 28th Plants have responded well to flushing New growth showing so I have resumed LST

Same nutes as all the other plants? Not sure why I am still having trouble managing PH so I’m thinking this is my problem. I also did a little defoliating and clean up on the bottom of the plant trimmed low bud sites

Mar 8th Added 12 litres of fresh nutes yesterday Plants are not doing very well as my PH got out of control over the last week. They are turning yellowish or lime green. I broke down and bought a Blue lab PH pen and conductivity pen from Amazon for $180.00 ouch! Mar 11th Now armed with a new PH meter things were not as bad as they could have been. PH was @ 6.8 in the reservoir Rebalance to 5.7 Mar 12th Added fresh nutes today @ full strength 1250 PPM and PH = 5.9 Also I have changed the light schedule over the week to 12/12 Changes will be updated next week

this is not a deficiency is a micronutrient lock out, you want to reduce the micro and check every bottle for what it contains, often times they will all contain N which will throw your balance off as well as overlapping contents like magnesium etc. keep it simple to avoid this kinda issue or start simple and add products one by one dialing the whole thing in over several grows . Hopefully the plant will bounce back

Hey there again! Nice work so far! So the idea is the following , EC/PPM measurements are “proxies” used to measure the quantity of feed in the solution. But not all nutes are created equal , some raise it more but are less dangerous some raise it less but are more dangerous. The less dangerous one is micronutrients , so you add that first and then measure your EC/PPM . That’s your basis for the next juice which is NPK , here you have to be a bit more careful. That’s just the basic reason why there is an order for the measuring . You don’t need to follow this but it sometimes helps to not make a mistake or something . Hope this helps ! 🚀

Mar 22nd Plants are stretching out finally and I have done more LST Mar 25 Added another 12 litres of nutes, same strength, other than I’ve reduced the Flora Micro in half. Plants seam to like what I’ve been doing. My PPM is reduced from last week because I purchased a R.O. system. The R.O. system gives me “0” yes zero PPM. Previously I’ve used regular out of tap water which is usually around 200 PPM but jumps up to 400 PPM I am hopeful that this will solve my PH issues. Mar 27th I have done a fairly aggressive defoliation today. Buds are starting to show and the smell is getting fairly strong. I am feeding week 12 on the nutrient schedule but only half of the Flora Micro.

May 10th Just patiently waiting Switched nutrients back to straight Dense Buds @ 1200 PPM May 12th Switched nutrients back to what is posted on in the diary. The two days of straight Dense Buds really tightened up the Buds. I t is getting very close to flushing 👍😎 Most Buds look ready but there are a couple spots were they can go longer I see that my humidity has climbed up to 50% so I will be running the dehumidifier for the rest of the grow, aiming at 40% RH May 13th Switched the nutrients to start flushing today. I used 15 litres of water and 40m/l of Florakleen = 0.38 m/l PPM > 100 and PH of 6.1
