So sorry I haven't been really painstaking for this extra long diary but here we are, almost finished! Those pics where taken the week before harvest and the ladies have been on flush mode for two weeks now. Fading takes time and it seems they want to keep on doing their thing, but guys, 22 weeks... I need some change... 😅
Anyway they are very close to finish, I'll maybe wait till the end of next week to chop them down!
I would say I'm quite happy with the results knowing the terrible start they had and the extremely high temps during flowering. The yield won't be in the records but the buds are dense and nicely frosty. The smell is very nice, fruity, bananish and consistent through the three plants.
Can't wait to taste the curred buds!
Cya next week!
As long as her issues are fixed and she's given a bit of time to recover before being flipped to flower then there shouldn't be any herm issues mate (not from stress in veg, anyway). Happy growing! ✌️🐺
@TheFoxFarmer, That is an interesting point you make, FF. For those who don't know this already. Some growers use stress, most notably root bound stress, to initiate early sexing. Stress propagates pre flowers not hermies in vege. as you say. I haven't consciously tried this technique yet, myself. Next run perhaps. Happy growing.
@TheFoxFarmer, Thanks mate!! 🙏 What a nice strain isn't it? Mine doesn't look as frosty as yours but I will surely enjoy it! I'm curious what the dry yield will be, I'll be weighting it this w-e...
Looks like you did the right thing raising the light#2 Looks like it was getting too much as u can see were the colour has changed on top leaves hope things come back around for you looks like they definitely improved from last few weeks think the transplant definitely helped
@Magnetous,nice one I'll be watching and thanks I see what u meant by the banana taking time with branches 2 week ago banana was the biggest now purple queen is she's exploded and banana is a bit smaller
@biggreens420, thanks mate! Yes I think they are back to normal growth now so I will start training them. To keep things difficult I will still keep only the four first nodes and see what I can do with them. Stay tuned! Love your bananas btw!
interesting .... Question mate, I found your diary in instragram and I was wondering what the "nuts on watering" means. you give about 2ml of biobloom every day with the watering :o ? Im having serious issues with my Dinamed (yellow leaves) and I dont want to mess up with the overfeed :( .
Let me know !
@Gullo, Hi Gullo! Sorry to be very late with the answer but I have been away! I can't figure out where I wrote what you reported but i'll check your diaries and see if I can help... if I'm not too late.
What’s this banana smell coming from? Oh...... is that really you, bro? What a lovely harvest!!!!! Another kickass run, boom! Your branch-helpers are working very well, what a structure. Not so long before I ask you for some of them hehehe. Buds look yummy and frosty, as well as fat. Nice! Now I’m just waiting for a proper smoke test. Congrats brother, it’s good to see how much love you put on your babies. It’s not for everyone, but you just rock on this!!!!
It is nice to see the girls back to busyness officially. My girl was also damaged due to other reason and is recovering now. Your diary is one of the good guidings.
