Started this Dinafem remo chemo from seed Dec. 13, it popped within 8 hours and was a year old seed. It's in Fox Farm ocean forest soil. No nutrients have been added yet. She looked a little droopy in this pic because the lights had just came on. Follow me and I'll follow back.
Day 1 veg:
First week of veg. She's getting 5ml of TPS One per gallon of water as needed. She got a little leggy,I may have needed to lower the light sooner than I did. But she growing healthy and fast. Soon I will be putting her in her own 2x2 tent under a Mars Hydro ts 600 once I get that tent freed up, she has about 3-4 more weeks in this tent until then. Once she gets 5 nods of growth I'll do some LST by bending her over and securing her in place. Until then it's just one day at a time. Happy growing!
Day 3 veg:
20 days from seed and she's starting to take off it seems. No issues so far. She's getting 1/2 gallon of water with 2.5 ml TPS One about every 3-4 days now. Feeding her is simple with tps one, you feed every watering. I may add in some extra silica at half dose later on. I also should mention she is also getting some nutrients from the fox farm ocean forest soil she's in but that's only good for a few weeks and that's almost done by now im sure. Happy growing all.
Day 5 veg, 23 days from seed:
The plant is grow fast and healthy. It has 4 full nodes of growth and I used LST by bending it over and pinning it down with a stiff wire. In a few hours her side nodes and main top will turn up to the light, going from having one main top to 7 main tops. Once the lower branches get taller I will use LST to force them to grow outward to the edge of the pot in a circular shape, pulling then away from the center of the main stem. Happy growing all!
Week 2, day 2
Everything growing great. Hopefully the smaller tops will branch out good this week so I can train them. Happy growing!
Week 2, day 5
Not much to really talk about since last update. I'm continuing to do LST to the lower branches, forcing them away from the center stem. She's showing some nice growth and looking very healthy. I can't ask for more than that. Happy growing!
Starting week 3 with a feeding of tps one, silica, and calmag. The growth is good and even. Her main top is constantly having to be tied down as it wants to dominate the canopy. She's getting fed a gallon of mix every 3-4 days. The soil is mostly dried out before I fed, I don't try to water on certain days, I go by what the plant tells me she needs, so no schedule just reading the plant. Happy growing!
Week 3, day5
I have done what will probably be the last of the LST. The branches should be spaced out enough to give plenty of room for growth and light. Happy growing!
Very happy happy with the growth of this girl. She very healthy and this remo chemo is making some of the largest fan leaf's I've every seen on any plant I've ever grown before. The LST is working great at producing multiple tops. Looking forward to late flower when the leaf's turn dark purple to almost black. Happy growing!
Lights went off for 24 hours, Jan.24 at 10am-Jan. 25 at 10am. Usually veg for 6-8 weeks but since this plant is in a 2x2 tent and I've never grown this particular plant before and I don't how much it may stretch, I decided to flip it to flower early. I gave this plant a feeding with flower nutrients the week before I flipped it, which i do with every grow. It's getting a gallon fed every 2-3 days of TPS One, silica, and calmag, and I'll add in 1/4-1/2 tsp of beasty blooms every other feeding. Happy growing!
Day 4 of flower:
She's stretching some but not too fast. I did some defoliation to the leaf's that were pointing inward to open up light for the lower bud sites. I save my defoliation until it's time to water/feed so as to help keep the plant from stressing too much. She's grown 3 inches in 3 days, so I'll have to keep a close eye in my light distance between now and week 4 until she stop stretching. Happy growing!
Starting week 2 of flower and everything is looking good. Im seeing her leaf's start to claw just a bit, so I'll be giving her a good plain watering or 2 this week to help remove possible salt build up in the roots. But I am really liking how the bud sights are stacking, nice and tight. She's making me think she's going to give me some nice sized buds. Only time will tell. Happy growing!
Feb. 3 water only:
I gave her one gallon of water only, ph @ 6.5 to help flush out salt build up. Ppm run off was a little high @ 1240, I will give water only until it gets down to around 900 before I begin to start feeding nutrients again. Happy growing!
Feb 4 water only
Another one gallon plain watering, ph 6.4, runoff ppm has dropped to 1190. Not a significant drop in the ppm, I will do another plain watering when she drys out again. Happy growing!
Starting week 3 of flower and everything is going really smoothly with this plant. Remo Chemo is definitely going into the top 10 of easy plants if it keeps going like this lol. Im keeping the big fan leaf's that point to ther center of the plant pruned back to allow light to the lower branches. Most would clean up the bottom leaves at this point to make its easier to clean and allow better air flow. I don't usually do that on my plants unless they are very thick and bushy. The lower leaf's are hugh on this plant, 11 inches across. These lower leaf's are the first to show signs of problems, if left on the plant they serve as an early warning sign helping to see the problem and fix the problem quickly. Plus they hold excess water and nutrients for the plant. She is still stretching too. But it should slow down after this week. Happy growing!
Day 17
I gave her a 2 gallon watering and removed the runoff to help remove salts that may be building up in the soil. She's still doing great. I will be giving another water only when she drys out again. Happy growing!
Starting week 4 of flower and everything is going great. I've been give plan water for this past week and its working to stop the leaf's from clawing. This week I will be going back to feeding and hopefully won't have to worry about giving plan water again until the last 2 weeks of flower. I have removed some lower bud sites that wasn't going to make it to the top of the canopy and would only use up nutrients and not produce good buds. This is day 22 of flower and im starting to see her putting on some frost. She has a faint smell of coffee when I first open up the tent. The main branch are very thick and sturdy, very strong plant. The dinafem remo chemo is shaping up to be one of the best plants I've grown considering it's size, structure, and ease of growing. Happy growing!
Day 26
She's doing really well. This week I've fed her twice, next watering will be plain water. Im really liking the ease of using the TPS One nutrients, it's a very easy schedule to keep compared to some other more complicated nutrition lines. She seems to be loving for sure. With any luck I'll get some nice good meds off this plant. Looking forward to trying this stain for the first time as well. Happy growing!
