Oyzi goes USA : Sweet ZZ

Oyziphar 4 of the 5 seeds have germinated. 1 seedling did not make it. I made some small mistakes 😭 but learned from them : 😛 1. Too much perlite. 10% max. 💪 2. Too dry 😎 3. Flower bulb (too much red) instead of grow light (white/blue light) 👿

Oyziphar Busy week preparing my soilmix and repotting all plants in Autopot XL 25 liters. 😋 3 Sweet ZZ in one pot 😀 (and 1 small Triple G) Soilmix of 100 liter : 50 liter perlite 50 liter Plagron Light-mix 1000 gram Biovin (new name : Terra Pulse) 2500 gram DCM Rockdust 500 gram DCM Bentonite clay powder 500 gram DCM Kieserite 250 gram DCM Calcified seaweed powder 50 gram RQS Easy roots Mycorrhiza On the bottom of each Autopot XL is 5cm clay pebbles. In Each autopot are 3.5 Healthy start tablets (www.bioplantenvoeding.nl) In each Autopot I planted 3 to 4 plants 😉

Oyziphar The plants have established themselves well in the autopots. 👌 The first week the autopots are not yet linked to the water reservoir. 😏 For the time being I water (with nutrition) from the top. 👍

Oyziphar This week I connected the autopots to the water tank, and put the plants on a 12/12 flowering schedule (DAY29). 😊 Only water now..... 😭 Size of the plants on the first day of flowering: Sweet ZZ Plant # 1: 23 cm Sweet ZZ Plant # 2: 19 cm Sweet ZZ Plant # 3: 18 cm

Oyziphar 3 Indica style plants, short internodes, normal size indica style leaves. On DAY36 I removed the 2 lowest branches 👌 The plants have started smelling 👊

Oyziphar My garden has turned into a jungle 😊😵😍 The plants have grown so much last week, it's really incredible 😲💪😁 The plants transpire enormously, so that the humidifiers are no longer necessary. 👌 The swing fan runs at full speed, so that the temperature difference between the plants and the room remains high and the VPD low. The plants have therefore more than tripled in size in one week. 😮 I did some defoliation, and removed the fan leaves at the beginning of the week. Starting from the top. About 6 leaves per plant. 👍 I bought me some led lamps so I can make better pictures. The flash of my phone is not so good... So the light in the pictures are not from the flowering lights. 👻 I watered the plants twice from above, so that I could add Green Sensation. The plants are in an Autopot and get their water from below through the water tank, but I cannot add organic nutrients to the water tank, because of potential blockage of the water hoses. 😱

Oyziphar Welcome to my jungle ! 😛 Sweet ZZ plants are doing great. 👌 Take a look at plant #3, she has a double mainbud 😵 Plants have grown so incredibly in such a short time. 😁 Growth rates from day 1 to day 27 of bloom: Plant #1 : 23 cm -> 110 cm = 478 % Plant #2 : 19 cm -> 99 cm = 521% 👈😊 Plant #3 : 18 cm -> 87 cm = 483 % I've got 3 Sweet ZZ plants in one Autopot XL (25l.), together with a small Triple G. The plants automatically receive water. The nutrition comes from the soil mixture with the nutrition tablets. 👌 Twice a week I water the plants from above with 2,5 l. water with 2,5ml. Plagron Green Sensation (0-9-10) per Autopot. 💪 • Improves flowering • Increases resistance • Improves soil • Maximises the yield I defoliated some of the fan leaves so that they don't cast a shadow on the lower buds. 👍

Oyziphar Everything went well this week. 🙏 Plant #3 Reindeergrower told me on Instagram that this is an example of polyploidy cannabis 😵 Buds are forming. Trichomes are coming. 😍👌 Smell is getting strong. 😁 Daily defoliation. Probably the last time before harvest trimming. 💪😊 Lower fan leaves turned yellow. Removing of some lower branches. 😛👍

Oyziphar Buds are filling up. Trichomes are multiplying. 😍 So beautiful to watch 👌😊 Plant#1 is a real beauty 😍 Plant#2 is smaller Plant#3 is that special Polyploide 😵

Oyziphar Three Sweet ZZ plants in one Autopot XL. One of them (#3) is a special one : a diploid/polyploid and she looks different than the other two plants. Medium short in height with rather firm branches. They are medium frosty 👉 Maybe a little too many leaves😞 The plants have almost reached their final stage..... 👍 Only water in these last 14 days 😭 and cold nights to get some colors 😚 More leaves and less flowers. But I can't complain. The plants look fine. 👍

Oyziphar 3 Sweet ZZ plants. Plant#1 and #2 are the same pheno, with big fat colas. 😍 Plant#3 is a diploid. Very rare.😵 👉 Colas are big and dense. Short side branches with big buds. Indica-style. 👉 Limited defoliation.👊 👉 Only water.💪

Oyziphar 3 plants in one autopot XL 4 autopots XL under 600watt HPS #1 Big buds, grapefruit smell : 77 grams #2 Big buds; fruity smell : 57 grams #3 Small plant, diploid : 34 grams Sweet ZZ loves a lot of ferilizer, or they will turn yellow easy. Leaves won't turn dark, but stay rather light green.
