Pretty sure this is her finishing week.
This baby has been a joy to work with. I love the production!
106/66: Pretty sure she will come down tomorrow. Will do a trich check later tonight.
Post check: More amber than I usually go for, but seems like a lot of clear too.
IDK there is plenty of cloudy. Coming down tomorrow.
107/67: sigh... I can't do it. I remember when I couldn't wait for harvest day. Now every time I take one down, I give her proper respects first. But more impactful to me is that there is a sadness that comes with harvest day. That beautiful plant I nurtured and loved from a seedling. I watched each bud develop, down to the flower, down to the trichome! Every leaf is precious to me. So there is a sadness these days when I bring her down. Even when I have a clone, it's just not the same thing.
She will go one more day at least.
108/68: I was wrong about the trichs before. They seem to be clouding now. gonna let her ride a bit longer.
Last year was the first time I ever grew seed from a seedbank. It took me until now to realize that they are always two weeks off in flowering time. Every time.
Then I got to thinking. To me flowering time starts when I put them in 12/12. I think to the seedbanks, flowering begins when you first see flowers. I don't know if this is true, but it sure would clear up a long running mystery for me. Those numbers seem to be checking out on all 4 strains I have going right now so... I am just gonna go with it.
Harvested Days:112/72 :Flowering
@Rock_n_Roll_Randy,Turned out to be fruity cheesy grape/floral. I think earthy will cure in later. Smell is very sweet and tropical with grape and deisel notes.
@Rock_n_Roll_Randy, Me too man! Fruit is only good on the top of the flavor for me. Has to have a STRONG base of skunky, hazy, piney, earthy or hashy. I wanna taste the funk!
@seymore_budz, Thaks for the response. I'll keep that in mind. Haven't dosed her yet, but I know it's about time to start. Yours are looking massive. Got u followed now so I'll be watching.
@Dirty_Hippy, I can't say I have noticed that but it could be something genetic. Mine seem to be a real hungry though and seems to like having the EC high.
@seymore_budz, was the new growth strange looking? i think this plant might have genetic issues. wierd wrinkly yellowish in the new growth(more than usual for fast growth). They mainly heal up as they mature with some very slight mottling. Growth seems steady though and they are keeping up with the rudeboi and the ARC i planted same day. Never seen it before. Just wondered if you had anything like that. Thanks for the luck!
