It’s been a fairly uneventful week. I transplanted the rest of my best plants into three gallon fabric pots and got rid of all the randomness. Kept my little tomato plant around for experimentation with various fertilizers and watering techniques. Watering has been my primary issue since I began this grow and have become increasingly cognizant of my overwatering habits. I have only watered one time this week with full saturation on all plants after transplant. Most of the containers are approaching bone dry and I will likely water tomorrow to begin the week with around 500ml of water with cal mag and big bloom per plant. The Mars hydro ts1000 is proving to be more than adequate at this stage at around 75% power at 16-18 inches for 18 hours. These plants are dark green when taken out from under the lights. I still can’t determine the sex of any of the plants but I am seeing crossing of stipules on many plants(not that it means much). The plant that is directly under the light is truly massive and stout. Really hoping for a female, there. I will likely try my hand at lst in the next week or two when the plants are a little taller. The smell on these babies is becoming noticeable when I enter the house. Especially the largest plant. I have no idea what strains these plants are but that one is surely potent with smell. May place a carbon filter near the opening of the closet in a few days. All in all, I think it’s going well and I’m looking forward to some real growth this week!

@Polaskis, I sincerely appreciate that! This grow started as strictly experimental before I take the plunge with feminized seeds or cloning. I feel like I’m doing well, so far. Definitely have an issue with watering and wanting to fertilize even though I know it’s unnecessary. Thank you for the kind words.

First thing I noticed when I came across your thumbnail was the coloring of the little dude and I was like! SHIT! Over watered!?! (Im really bad at doing the same) So I clicked over and you made the same comment. I would have to agree, pull off for a day or so, let the plant droop from getting dry and slowly feed her back till shes healthy. One thing I heard that stuck for me was " Its not about how much water you give it, its how often you give it." Basically saying you can give it as much water as the pot will hold (within reason, eventually it will pour thru) one time for each day. The water will go into the plant, the soil will dry a bit. Oxygen moves in the air pockets, the plant gets to breath. Next day, she wakes up and just like most people shes thirsty/hungry. But if you water it in the morning a bunch and then come back later for another douse when does it get time to breath? And if your soil is holding water for more than a day or two you might need a better medium. Throw some perlite in there. Too much of anything is bad for anyone. I believe wilting or yellowing is a sign of the plant suffocating in some situations. But Im still learning here too, I just thought I would respond since I didnt see any others. I hope this helps, I hope my assumptions are correct. If not please, *anyone* set my dumbass straight. Im always down to learn. Anyways, best of luck to you and your little ones.

@Nottaclue816, Hey no worries! Its all for the love of the plant, sometimes we get a little carried away lol. Hell yea, 3 gallon fabs are where im sittin also. Thats crazy with the clear bottle, Im wanting to do the same at some point just to see it in action under a time lapse over a few days. I think itd be pretty dope to watch develop? And no problem, just figured Id throw my two cents down. Keep it green meh!

@SweetVibes420, Thanks for the input, man. I’ve always had an issue with over watering, no matter what I’m growing. I’m really just experimenting at the moment and have noticed that my best growth has come from plants in taller pots that are watered less frequently. I just transplanted my best plant into a 3 gallon fabric pot today literally from a vitamin water bottle. In the vitamin water bottle(which I rarely watered), I could actually see the root growth and it’s amazing that the roots actually thrived in the recesses where there was no soil or water. We’ve basically been taught that plants need water and sunlight, not mentioning that those roots need to breathe. Thanks for the insight! I really appreciate it and it helps the thought process, immensely.

@SOBIESLAW, Thanks, man! The plants are really starting to take off, now, after transplanting. I’m spending too much time trying to sex them when I know it’s impossible at such an early age. But they’re vivacious as hell. I keep thinking I’ll mess something up by being to anal. And I probably will lol. But for now, things are looking good. Thanks for the encouragement!
