So for my first grow sponsored by FastBuds genetics I'm trying a different potting/repotting method. I germinated the seed in a peat pellet with root stimulator and then slowly moving the pellet into biggers netpots every time the tap root shows up from the bottom. I already did it twice doubling the size of the container starting from the first small netpot (wich was the double of the size of the peat pellet) and then the bigger netpot (wich is the double of the size of the first one - it is the netpot used for 20L hydroponic pots).
The point of doing this is: Small seedlings go into small containers for better oxygenation and to keep the root hungry and searching for water and new soil but i'm using opened netpots for air pruning without causing transplant shock.
Seems to work fine and seedling has already grew four leaves on her first day out of the soil.
Hopefully with a little of patience this method won't keep seedling "lazy" like it did germinating seeds directly into the final pot like EVERYONE swear it's the best method for autos and I can assure I tried many times on different size pots and it's just not true. Small seedling + Huge pot= Slow lazy growth and difficulties in proper feeding...
Imma post more pics into this week to show you guys the pots.
Once again thanks Heather and FastBuds.
Peace.
Of course as you can now see I'm dealing with a mutant wich happens sometimes with blackberry strains but she doing good and honestly growing not that weirdly and kinda symmetrical.
Got a fungus attack inside the tent because of a plant brought from the outside. She got infected but I'm threating her with neem oil and she's getting better so I'll definitely gonna keep her cause she growing regularly. I'll keep spraying neem oil while the lamp is off cause I can't stand that ugly look on leaves anyway.
I was sad I got a mutant but honestly she's growing wild and now I'm not even mad. She growing four leaves per each node and tree branches per each node as well- She's showing some yellowing but I'm cool about that since she probably just confused about growing double the leaves than she's supposed to do. So I started feeding the veg schedule already and she's responding good. Gonna give some extra love in the preflowering phase just to make sure she won't lack anything and I'm thinking about defoliating a bit but also I kinda wanna leave her like she is cause she's something quite rare so she might end up weirdly beautiful in flowering phase. Anyway, she showing hairs alreadys so I can't wait to see some stretch next week. she gonna be a wild one I'm pretty sure.
She's growing like she was topped or something but she was not. She just shown some mutation in grow pattern in the seedling phase. She went into flowering very early and stretched quite a bit. Got her pruned and defoliated. Also she already showing some purps and that makes me happy.
Doing well. Lots of colas due to her mutation but the main one is fattening up faster. Nice purpling and pleasant smell. Very curious on how this will turn up the next few weeks.
Weird mutant but i just love the smell. This is not the usual hempy smelling ruderalis stuff, this smells like straight berries and makes me want to eat it.
Weird growth but I don't care. She has the most beautiful berry smell i ever smelled. I'm already flushing cause on this one I care more about the taste and smell than anything else.
She's almost done but i want to give her another week. Just flushing at the moment. She's a terp monster. With the last flush she should be watered for three days more or less and then I'll let her dehydrate for two days before giving her two days of darkness and then chop.
Man I just love this strain and guess what? Imma grow this again with my new Mars Hydro setup to unleash her true genetic potential. Thanks fastbuds for the free seeds again
@y0shimitsu,no I mean u say u feed her for 3 days then leave her to dry up. What's the pH of your flushed water. And how much in Litres are u feeding her in these 3 days
@y0shimitsu, you mentioned you flush her 3 days then leave for 2... ? Is this what you do for 2 weeks with ph tested water ?and looking at your RH. Are you not having problems with bud rott with 75% humidity during flower?
