Hello friends, i soaked 3 beans for 30 hours before placing them in paper towels.
Having a little trouble with low humidity right now but should have it under control when it counts
Girls are moving along nicely. Can't wait for them to take off. I am going to plant them in their final container very soon. I have 3g grow bags that I am going to use. As soon as I finish their soil I can TP. So far I have a small bag of a nice organic mix and a small bag of potting mix w/perlite, also I brought in a bin of my garden soil from last seasons garden. Very nice stuff - worms and organics, I ran some water through it ph 6.57 runoff.
** The only thing I am concerned about is these little sacs of spores or pollen ( not sure ) **
Anyone have any ideas ?? Problem solved.
I also moved the girls to their permanent home til harvest. I used 3 gallon vivosun grow bags. This is my first experience using cloth grow bags.
Take a close look at the plant in the back left. This plant has had a heck of a journey. She was harvested back in December from some bagweed seed. If i had to guess its a kush strain. I think I will get more out of her this time around..

They seem to be doing well. Now that I finally have the tent dialed in with heat and humidity. I am going back to the attic now that the harsh winter weather wont be an issue.
Will be replacing w/ TSW3000 light before the next update.
So I am doing an experiment, so that I can get an idead what works with autos.
I topped GSC2 about a week ago above 4th node she responded rather nicely.
Then on day 28 i topped the runt GSC3 above the 5th node
GSC1 I have just been training its branches and some light defoliation.
It has been a hectic week so far. It started getting too hot with the new light .I had to move them out of the tent and to my basement. The tent is too tall so I'm doing a little temp framing to build a small room.

Yea so big shocker today. A couple of hours into the morning my TSW-2000 stopped working. This sux as I just paid 280 bux a month ago. Hopefully, they will get back to me promptly. I do my best to promote their product so they should take care of me.

All is well except for the light situation. But at least they are sending me a replacement free of charge. I gave the girls a dose of Kangaroots today,
It looks to me like GSC1 it right on schedule and will finish up in about 2 more weeks. I just hope the nutrient burn doesn't effect the yield too much
The last part of the week GSC1 and GSC2 seem to have slowed down. Both plants are cannibalizing themselves, but they are still making fresh pistils so I am letting GSC1 go for a few more days and she will get the chop first.
These girls are right on schedule as advertised (70 -75 days)
This grow and the methods that I compared have been very informative. As far as topping or not to top Autos, and low stress training all effect growth rate and flowering time. I would say that it is all in your personal preference. There does not seem to be any negative results or affect on the autoflowering by topping.
We still have the weigh in totals to really see.....

After the extreme cannibalization or so I thought, I did some reading on my nutrients and found that they don't contain any calcium. So I gave the other plants a cal-mag feeding. We will know by the next update whether it helped.

Another couple of days and GSC2 will get the chop. As far as GSC3, she seems to be packing on weight still, so I will let her go till she's ready.
