Ordered these Fastbuds genetics from Seedsplug and they arrived in official packaging. I ordered on the 3rd of Feb and they arrived on the 19th of Feb but a couple days lost due to bad weather in my area.
I'm germinating using the paper towel method
I hope they all sprout and I don't get any problems with this grow
From what I gather, the burn was probably nutrient burn from the nutes building up in the soil. What kind of soil was used? I've been told that when growing autos in soil, nutrient burn can be a common problem. Most likely because the soil does too good of a job at retaining nutes (unlike coco coir). It looks mature, which is amazing that it took under 10 weeks! Happy tokes!
@AvoidantGrower, this is actually my first grow, but a man smarter and wiser than I, had me invest in Ed Rosenthal's book (highly (pun intended) recommend it). I'm actually doing an all organic grow because I'm not familiar with using nutes. It very well could have been the soil, as I've read that it loses it's potency over time, or if not stored properly (allowed to dry out) with regards to super soils. I haven't even fed my babies yet, but I plan on going compoat tea as I've heard this is the best way to recharge super soils. Also, I've been told to be wary of mixing different brands when starting out, as not all play well together; not sure if this is true, but it sounds right (a Jack and Pepsi is not a Jack and Coke, mind you).
Either way, your harvest still looks bang on, and happy tokes man!
@@Cannabis_Chris, I was using Fox Farm Ocean Forest and I thought I was being careful because I only fed them twice for half the directed amount. In the past I've gotten nute lockout or nute burn but it was much later in the grow life cycle after several feedings but this started really early so I suspect either my Sensi Bloom or Terpinator is bad somehow. Or possibly my soil was toxic right out of the bag somehow.
