This week I went ahead and bowl trained her. I wanted to open her up so that the inside budsites on the lower branching would get light. I basically pulled down all the lower branching with fuzzy pipes and clamped it to the side of the pot. This exponentially widened the plant. She is pretty big now, with her and a smaller gelato eating up the whole 2x4. This blue dream is about 24"x24" in footprint now. I am keeping her up on silica within the feed to give her stronger branche, in order to hold up the hopefully fat ass buds she is producing. She is showing a little frost and is quickly becoming my favorite girl. She is still under the viparspectra p2500 on a 14/10 light schedule. The light is on full tilt for the rest of the grow.
@Ferenc, Thanx...I hope she yields well for me. Still meditating whether or not to scrog her, LST like my first few grows, or go natural and untrained like my last few....wish I did diaries on them...just was overwhelmed with time to record it all amongst harvesting; had an untrained zkittles give me over 3 zones in a half folded down 3 gallon air pot. I did it progressively starting at the main cola, and every 4-5 days chopping the next node down. I pulled 4 harvest out of her.....the popcorn at the bottom of the colas, (right above the lollipop) firmed up tremendously. It's like after you get that main cola, as it typically gets the most light and is done first, the canopy is automatically even...so I progressively lowered the lights after each harvest, 1 node teir at a time. I will try to duplicate this method with this grow...or scrog it out with her gelato sister and fill up the 3x5 with it. We will see.
@Fast_Buds, I've had nothing but awesome results from fast buds. I ran a tangiematic and a zkittles before and the results were very nice. Keep up the great work!
