Planted seed directly into fox farm ocean forest soil about 1/4" deep, then sprayed heavily with plain tap water PH to 6.0
It took 4 days to pop soil. Germination was a success. She began to become leggy, so I topped the pot off with more soil (to bury the stem; it will root from the soil line down) and lowered the light and turned it up a bit ( from 5% to 25%). The light I am running is the Viparspectra P2500.
These pics are on day 13 after a light silica foliar feed. She Is doing well. No nutrients other than the silica foliar sray so far. I put 5ml of silica in a 300ml spray bottle of water, then ph'd the solution to 5.9 for better absorption.
Veg is going great. I have done some leaf tucking this week. Every other watering she gets a foliar spray of water, kelp, and silica all ph'd to 6.0
She is vigorous and healthy
She is now in stretch phase of early flower. I have lightly introduced some bloom nutes. She has received received very light lollypopping as well as a light defoliation removing just a few larger fan leaves that were blocking budsites. She is on her way.
This week I went ahead and bowl trained her. I wanted to open her up so that the inside budsites on the lower branching would get light. I basically pulled down all the lower branching with fuzzy pipes and clamped it to the side of the pot. This exponentially widened the plant. She is pretty big now, with her and a smaller gelato eating up the whole 2x4. This blue dream is about 24"x24" in footprint now. I am keeping her up on silica within the feed to give her stronger branche, in order to hold up the hopefully fat ass buds she is producing. She is showing a little frost and is quickly becoming my favorite girl. She is still under the viparspectra p2500 on a 14/10 light schedule. The light is on full tilt for the rest of the grow.
