Liberty Haze - DWC - 7+yr old seed

I harvested on the morning of Sunday, 5/30/2021, right after the lights shut off from their 12/12 cycle. It took a solid 5 hours to wet trim between two trimmers. We hung it up and I froze all the trimmings in a ziplock bag in the freezer overnight. The morning of Monday, 5/31/2021, Memorial Day, I made the dry ice hash. Here are the stats: 73 micron - 10.5g = 0.37oz 160 micron - 52.86g = 1.86oz 220 micron - 50.81g = 1.79oz total = 114.17g = 4.03oz The evening of Friday, June 4th, I trimmed the dry bud and put in jars. Here are the stats: 184g = 6.49oz Please NOTE: I am adding the hash weight to my total dry weight of bud. Also, my square footage for my ScROG is 43" x 23" = 6.87 ft squared. That puts me slightly over 450 grams per meter squared, which if I'm not mistaken is close (or right on) Barney Farms advertised average harvest weight. I'm VERY HAPPY with those numbers!!!! Especially considering my budget light, and cramped space. I did not get a wet weight, because I don't really care about that number, and after trimming for 5 hours it seemed like too much trouble. 6/8/2021 - I jarred my bud when the small buds broke off clean. The larger buds were still completely bendy. However, since I've jarred the bud the humidity in the jars has not gone over 50% humidity. Therefore, I've ordered 62% Boveda packs and should have those in my jars in the next few days. Once they are in, I will do at least a 3 week cure from that point before I try any. I will probably just wait for at least 4 weeks though. I will update this diary again when I smoke the bud in about a month. 8/13/2021 - This is a lessons learned warning that I should have had enough common sense to figure this out before I made this mistake: Making hash with fresh cuttings. This would have worked if I had made Rosin, but I do not have a Rosin press. My hash started to mold after about a week or two. I was able to somewhat salavage it by making butter mints out of the 220 and 160 micron hash. I'd never made butter hash before and started with the 220, which I overcooked and it tasted like a bag of assholes (I ended up tossing the majority of it). However, my second round of butter mints with the 160 micron hash turned out excellent. I feel like it was a giant waste of the hash regardless, but I will definitely be making butter mints in the future. Each butter mint was like taking a solid bong hit, and they tasted very good. Soooooo....In the future I will either dry harvest or at least dry the cuttings next time around before I make hash (unless I get a Rosin press).
