Hi @MissFlowerPower ! I think it's a bit "hot", especially for a first meal, you should do it step by step, start with 1/4 of the recommended doses, then see how the plants react, if everything looks good you can increase to 1/2 for a week or two, then 3/4 if your babies are healthy and responding well. Hope this helps, I'll be around, keep us up-to-date and happy growing!

Hi , could I ask something please ?? How many times do people repot their plants ?? My babies are in starter pots but the other ones I have seem way to big to use as next stage . Do I use next size up or just jump straight onto large pots ? Help /advice will be appreciated

@MissFlowerPower420, me too =) love this site, it's like Facebook for growing weed, only it's not as shite as Facebook, and with weed. I love everything about it. @@Gl420grower, Aye, I'm sure it's a more than decent workaround - I'm just a really lazy git, if I can set up some gadget in there that takes care of the excessive burden of pulling two plugs and putting them back in once a day ... yeah, I'm going to do that. Besides, I love tinkering with this sort of stuff, if that gadget works well in the nursery I'm going to use the same approach in my other grow spaces.

@Chamalla, basically if your soil temp gets too high or too low it can cause problems and any other issues you have at the same time will only get worse! For example if you had a ph fluctuation.. high temps can cause it too look like you have a number of deficiencies going on with the plant and actually cause some deficiencies ECT.. how ever being in the seedling stage im not so sure.. if your using soil already fertilised it is possible that growth will slow down and you may have what looks like n deficency.. Tbh I think this is an issue i am having with my gorilla glue at the moment. Turning the tray off in the day as you mentioned should help avoid anything like this and keep your temps in the right place as long as your room is at the right temprature.. Honestly I couldn't tell you anything about the control outlet you have ordered.. as I said I haven't had to deal with the issue before now but lowering my temps makes all the difference.. your tray being off in the day, growroom temps being In the right place and watering with room temperature water/feed should be enough for you to keep the soil temps in check though

I've been watching YouTube videos on mainlining n tho it seems easy enough it's daunting as a 1st timer lol . I have a new problem atm . My landlord is coming tomorrow so I need to dismantle my tent n hide my ladies . The attic seems the safest place but it's dark n they could be in there a few hours I'm hoping that this won't do too much damage to my fragilist baby

@MissFlowerPower420, my little cutting did indeed re-veg and is now growing very funny looking non-serrated leaves. Added a picture to my April's Peyote Critical (clones) diary. 😊

@MissFlowerPower420, I have to remind myself to take more clones from now on. First round didn't go well, second round had to be killed due to being male - the Peyote Critical pair that has now finally picked up growing was the 3rd attempt! I've just taken a cutting from a plant in flower. It doesn't have much in terms of flowers, it was a low branch that didn't get any light. Going to see if it re-vegs. 😊

Sounds about right.. Just keep an eye on her lowest leaves.. once they start going a bit lighter in colour you will know she is starting to get a little hungry and that's when your going to want to start your feed

What soil are you using, normally you would be able to tell by her first true leaves starting to turn yellow, as you have stripped them though if you feel like she needs feeding just add the nutrients at like 1/3 or 1/2 strength. Might be worth googling your soil or looking on the bag and seeing how long the nutrients last for though as that will give you a good indication of when to start...

@@Gl420grower, I'm using Westland multi purpose compost with John innes . It has nutrients lasting 5 weeks , I think I may start using nutrients on week 7 or 8 . I have bought the Advanced nutrients range , micro , grow, bloom . Just incase I needed to start using them .

Due to no separate tent I will be harvesting crops early than I wanted too . I've found a split in the tent seam whilst preparing for cropping and cleaning which as gutted me , the tent wasn't cheap and I will be contacting seller to air my grievance about it .

Soooo .. ... I've ordered a full spectrum lamp , some vitalink clay pebbles and magic soil stuff . Should be here by end of the week . Seedlings are doing good but due to English weather n lacklustre sunshine I think I'm gonna need to help my babies along. I will update pics soon . P.s my shark seedling as finally popped

@Tictac789, This is an indica strain, Barney's farm claims it's a combination of Critical Kush x Peyote Purple.

Looking a lot better this week isn't she.. your new growth is a little unusual though.. (not in a bad way) looks like your going to start with 2 colas instead of 1.. looks like she has been topped
Gl420grower
Gl420growercommented7 years ago
@MissFlowerPower420 I know, I just meant thats how she looks aha.. plant mutations seem quite comon at the moment but its the first time i have seen one like this! when it comes to the training, mainlining should be easier for you though yes as you should be able to start a little sooner and won't have to top her.. if you were to top her you'd have twice as much to do as normal though because you have 2 tops already, being able to start it earlier as long as your careful should help you to strengthen her up a little more too giving her thicker and stronger branches
MissFlowerPower420
MissFlowerPower420commented7 years ago
@@Gl420grower, not been topped . She went into shock after I transplanted her . I was thinking her growth was unusual from other 2 I have n not seen anyone on here with anything similar . Which makes me think that mainlining ( if I got it right ) will be a lot easier to do with her than the other 2 .

looking through these, I would recommend checking the pH of the soil and heat of the environment. leaves dropping, twisted and curling upwards are all signs of issues with Nutrient delivery. there may have been issues with the roots, pH .Don't keep a fan blowing on the leaves either as that just causes additional twisting. otherwise, happy to hear you loved the smell , let us know how good the tasting is.

Oh my god.. that poor plant... Whatever you did to this plant.. don't do it again. Read The Growers Handbook by Ed Rosenthal. That helped me starting out. Watch some YouTube videos. Get some different lights. I use Kellog patio plus organics or fox farm for my soil.. the fox farm trio + cal mag for my nutes and definitely make sure you PH your water properly. That's what works for me. Indoor, outdoor, LEDs, CFLs, MH/HPS.. all with the same recipe and gotten fat dense nuggs, big pretty 7-9 point leaves each time. I'm sure you will get the same results. Hope this helps. Good luck. Peyote critical is a great strain don't give up on her.
