Hi guzy,
I'm so excited to announce a new single strain diary with a brand new strain for 2021 from Royal Queen Seeds, Mimosa Automatic.
I've put three seeds to germination and 2 out of 3 sprouted which is ok.
They were put the COCO coir in the final 15 liter pots and watered them with pH controlled solution of 5.6 with addition of rhyzotonic for root growth promotion.
Thank you so much to James from RQS for sending me new testers with the accompanied goodies.
Fasten your sit belts and enjoy this journey.
I also have one exciting announcement. I was given a Mars Hydro TS 1000 LED for testing (thank you Sally for contacting me:)) and I'm sure the ladies are going to love it! Can't wait for the results.
Nothing else to report at this time, be safe, take care and enjoy your growth :)
See you around:)
Hi guyz,
It's been a short week for the ladies and they are all doing good! All looking healthy and strong.
I put a very chip humidifier in the tent but it's doing the job and keeping the average humidity just above 60% which is not perfect but better than nothing.
I watered them only twice with a pH of 5.8 and addition of rhizotonic.
The LEDs are kept quite high, around 60 cm above the pots with a dimmer set to aprox. 20%.
Light schedule is set to 20/4 this round and hopefully additional two hours in a comparison to 18/6 will make a small change to the final yield.
Last but not least, thanks for stopping by and feel free to leave a comment below or give it a like.
See you around!! :))
It's already second week of growth behind the girls and they're progressing quite well. What I like so far is the similarity in the height and bushiness which will be a huge advantage when I start performing LST. No, it's not the time yet, they're just a little bit too small and fragile and I don't want to stunt the grow as they are autoflowers :)
I lowered the LEDs a bit and increased the output power to around 40% to give the girls a photon boost to promote their grow. And surely the like it:))
Still they're watered with plain tap water leveled to pH 5.8 with addition of rhizotonic which is a root developer enhancer.
I'll start adding Coco A&B with the next watering, this round I'll go with a low nutrient dosage as it is obvious from the past experience that medium level chart is just too much! :)
Other than that, everything's good, I'm still using a humidifier as the spring air in this part of Europe is just to dry for young plants.
Last but not least, thanks everybody for stopping by, thanks for all nice comments and don't hesitate to click the Like button :)
See you around growmies :)
Hello Guyz,
happy to be back with you and another weekly report :)
The girls have been growing fast like crazy and they're already huge having in mind it's just 21 day since they germinated.
All of them are showing their sex and hopefully this doesn't mean they'll stay small.
I started giving them nutrients and they seem to like them a lot.
Overall, they're really healthy without and not showing any deficiency. I also started training them by bending them aside gently.
Other than that nothing special going on this time.
Last but not least, thanks for stopping by and all the likes and comment.
See you around groomies :
Hello Guyz,
happy to be back with you and another weekly report :)
It's been a productive week for mimosa girls, they're doing quite good and they're ready for flowering! :)
Slight signs of magnesium and calcium deficiencies are gone and overall health of the plants is as they deserve.
I performed a slight LST today to open the structure of the plants!.
Other than that no news so far, lets the flowering begin :))
Last but not least, thanks for stopping by and all your comments and likes. Have a great week!
Hi Guyz,
After sharing op opinions with @Green_Dream I've taken a deeper look into a different watering/fertigation principles for growing cannabis in COCO. I found out the best way to get max out of it is to water every single day and keep the medium moisture around 90%.
I've doing so four 3 days or so and I think the results are visible. Plants are growing like crazy and they seem really healthy so far :)) Hopefully it stays like this and hopefully they'll produce some proper bombs of out them :)
Also, I've been paying around with LST keeping them nice and evenly spread in the tent.
I added additional LED for an extra lightning boost and now the only think is to wait and keep the girls in a perfect environment :)
Other than that nothing special going on this time, happy growing everybody, thanks for stopping by and see you around :)
Hi guyz, sorry for a late update but I was quite busy lately so here's the week 2 of flowering wrap up :)
Girls been doing amazing, it seems every day watering in a combination with 20 daylight is awesome. They don't seem like any auto strain I've grown so far. Hopefully they'll be monsters, for now everything looks like this :))
As said, I'm watering and fertilizing the girls almost every day or once per two days giving leaving the extra water to flush out to be sure salt won't build up.
Also, I started with quite extreme LST to achieve a nice canopy covering int the tent and performed lollipopping of the lower part of the plants.
Overall, the girls are happy and I'm having fingers crossed they stay as it this.
Last but not least , wish you a nice weekend and a happy growing.
Feel free to comment and push like if you find my diary interesting :))
Bye, bye ;)
Hi guyz,
I'm back again with a weekly update :)
Similarly to previous week this one has been terrific and the plants are getting bigger and bigger, never experienced such a size from autoflowers.
If I'm guessing right, It's going to be the highest yielding turn! :))
They're all slowly stopped stretching and they finally started producing already deliciously smelling buds. One of the plants is having a nice dark grey, almost black bud core which seems so crazy :P :)
Main stems are huge and fat, the canopy is tree-like.
I couldn't be happier so fat with the development but the most important part of the journey is ahead:)
I will stop with writing today and let the photos talk themselves.
Feel free to comment and hit like if you find the diary interesting.
Last but not least, have a great one and see you around.
Bye, bye
Hi guyz,
sorry for a late update again but I was quite busy and didn't have a time for an update.
However I made a quick photoshooting last week and here's the news for the week 8 of flowering.
Girls finally stopped stretching and bud development is extreme for an autloflower garden.
The main stem looks like the one from the tree and they're given almost 2 liters of fertilized water per day which is amazing. :D
The overall health is great and I'm still mild with the nutrients not to over fertilize.
I'm defoliating my garden almost each day and I'll keep doing so until the light penetration is according to my taste :)
Other than that nothing new to report, the smell is already amazing and the bud size is already huge and typical sativa-like :).
More to be shared with you guys, next flowering week :)
Buds, buds and buds again are the three words to describe the 5 of flowering.
Garden looks amazing and flowers are exploding! :) The smell from the tent is amazing.
It's all about the lemon, orange and sweet tropic scents. I don't have much words to describe these amazing autoflowers.
RQS has done an amazing job with these new strains!
I won't loose much words this time, let pictures replace thousands words :)
few more weeks to go and they'll be ready for harvest.
Last but not least, thanks for stopping bye and all the comments and likes (feel free to click the button;))
Have a great weekend and see you around! :)
the girls almost at their end and they're all phenomenal :)
Unfortunately few buds got a bud rot but that's due to a high temperature, humidity and the tent is totally overcrowded :(
But, the end result is going to be amazing, I'm hoping for record yield of my life :))
the smell of the girls is gorgeous and I'll have to chop them sooner than expected but I don't want the bud rot to spread further.
And as usually said, have a great weekend and wish you a healthy grow!
Thank you for stopping by and all your comments :)
Very nice grow ! And with autos it looks if you don't have good photo genetics, auto will brake any opponent now ... My FB SPA's both went 100+, in soil and organic feed i felt its good , but only because Kalini Asias and Blue Dreams i will have more or so per plant in my photo run. I cut my autos month+ ago and they touched soil same day with photos ... Runtz is very smelly, but i know that one girl will brake 100, but other 3 will put me far away on average ...
wow, unbelievable.
I'm curious to see how the buds of these new rqs strain develop.
I've seen some pics of these strain with beautiful colorway, I'm sure yours will be amazing too 😋
@Newbie_01, thank you mate :) I was defoliating my ladies today in the morning and I haven't smelled something similar before, it's almost like in a lemon tree forest (I imagine it smells like this :)))
the buds are not huge yet, but the formation is very dense all around the stems and hopefully they'll be huge. It's quite interesting also, that the core of the bud on some of the plants is really dark. We'll see how they develop! :)
